I have thought for some time that people should be tested at birth for psychopathy and identified as such
Thinking that even more so now after that stepmother case
TEMPLAR. For PM :)
TEMPLAR, have you considered as part of your manifesto the rebuilding of Hadrian's wall, shooting all labour voters,in fact shoot all the working class just in case they think about voting labour ?
Long may Boris and co govern little England eh....
All I can say is Thank God you're not in a position to do it!
Get the jab and free up beds for other patients which could include your mother, your father, your brother, your sister!!!!!!!
IIs that a promise Myluck????
The market will still be selling fruit & veg, the same as on Friday.
I say Templar for PM and rxdav for Health Secretary and roll on year 2075 when the survivors will finally have the right to see the full results of the Pfizer trials currently being conducted on humanity.
See what the market thinks tomorrow Wyndrum.
I have to say reading this "debate" at least clarifies and confirms the thought process (or lack of it) that many "respected" posters seem to have.
But I do agree with you about all this political guff on here today!
Praying for the SP to rise on a sack of £hite company so you can run for the hills with a reduced loss or b/e doesn't sound like then smartest investment strategy MyLuck?
Found this debate very interesting, a good insight into how people are thinking. Can see how decisive it seems the vaccine debate is just by spending 10min reading today's conflicting thoughts from respected posters.
My two pence worth, the government had success on the vaccine roll out (which it had very little to do with early on) and pretty much everything else failed miserably. So has leaned on that far heavier than it should.
Coming from aircraft industry, familiar with the Swiss cheese model.... basically using many defenses to prevent the undesirable outcome.
Our governments model is just keep vaccinating everyone multiple times over an over. . Which as pointed out doesn't stop spread merely reduces the impact of the ones vax'd.
Ignoring testing (above and underground), treatments, social bubbles, improved ventilation in schools etc..the list goes on where that money could be spent. Instead we basically give Pfizer £20 profit a shot an strong arm people into it...all just sits a bit uneasy with me. (Whilst they refuse to share the "recipe" so lesser off counties can benefit...or deliver at cost like moderna - not to mention the fact they aren't liable. Profit and liability, or minimal profit and spread the IP with zero risk - surely can't have best of both?!)
For those thinking I'm antivax, I'm double jabbed. Went when my age group was called in the summer. I've had reasonably significant side effects from it, not talking the standard sick for 24-48hrs. More like muscular pain inflammation in my back leading to other issues....still not 100% but on the mend.
I tell you this simply to ask, because the gov have essentially backed one horse, is it fair that I have a choice between having rights taken away from me or taking another jab that will likely make me ill for months?
I don't think so...and it's why I'm in avacta patiently waiting for people to realise the only way to "win" is to have a host of options to defend and attack!
I totally agree. They have refused the opportunity of protection. They should not be treated
Absolutely MyLuck.
Who gives a rats a££ about all this balderdash. I just want the SP to climb close to my average so I can run from this sack of £hite. Jeez....
Good one Templar.....eeyore.
I understand that people have a choice.
But to those who don’t want to play by the rules of being vaccinated and or the wearing of face masks.
If they get covid very severely would they be the ones that would demand first class health care even if that meant being hospitalised ?
Would there actions demand that nurses would be putting their lives at risk by helping them and of keeping cancer patients away from hospital and impacting on their lives ?
Should they have this right of help if they are so determined to be so anti.
Does their selfish stance be allowed to create suffering to others if they pass on the symptoms .
At what point could manslsughter or other charges be brought against an individual with such contempt.
People with AIDS have been charged and found guilty of passing on the diesease.
Is covid any different ? and the circumstances any different of passing it on to others ?
Surely we have a responsibility to ourselves, the NHS and to other potentially terminally ill patients that corvid people are keeping away from hospitals ?
@Benharper
You will get all your answers you have been seeking at the right time

All I can say is to listen to your -or at least Sujood’s-inner voice !
Alextak, in this future 2075 scenario, has uk desktop review and hua been granted yet?
Year 2075
After decades of virus miseries, the public is very tired. Life before digitalization is long gone. People are now queuing to get microchipped.
At the same time there are riots everywhere, cities are burning (Construction stocks are up)
Affimers can cure post covid and pre nanorobot side effects (share price is up)
Rumours about Avacta and a possible takeover. (Avacta wants to buy out most of the other major pharmas)
MM,RK,Timster ,Templar,Doggy,Energy,Marik-doing just fine
Jr.Ndn communicated to his ancestors through a cryptonet crystal. He is here now, trolling the board 24/7. He claims he is a genuine holder and not Superman but we all know that he is Bighero.
DOH is banned from the internet for life because he was keeping it so fu**ing real
Pl75 has reached 100 years of age :)
A red flag for society will see UK lose the race.
The responsible action is to stay safe as no government edict has prevented spread but it seems there are many who do not like that as they are anti government rules instead of pro responsible behaviour as citizens. Boris has not been clear on reasons for his booster push, the main one being he has been unable to control covid spread and despite omicron most likeky being less injurious he is sold on it being bad and therefore thinks jabs as the only successful outcome of DHSC pandemic treatment should be encouraged. I would have employed an effective LFT giving different communities (businesses/care homes) another option.
PS
I am replacing Boris shortly.

"If it was your loved one with a life threatening illness who was unable to access a hospital bed because it was filled with someone who had Covid because they had refused the vaccine would you still feel the same way?"
It is a fact that 70% of people are vaccinated in the UK and also carry exactly the SAME amount of virus as an unvaccinated person and we know the jab doesn't stop vaccinated people from spreading it.
Therefore in answer to your question there is a 70% chance of a vaccinated person wandering around oblivious to these facts spreading the virus far more than unvaccinated people, more than double the chance in fact.
So the unvaccinated person taking up that bed is almost twice as likely to have been infected by a vaccinated person in the first place, possibly even by your own vaccinated loved one who wants that bed.
I am double jabbed but I am sick of this highly unnecessary anti-vax discrimination.
I strongly believe in free speech about anything, good or bad, as long as there is no threatening behaviour with it.
Its disgraceful when you consider it is far more likely to be spread by double jabbed people in the first place.
The answer is for ALL vaccinated, unvaccinated and those who are already immune after having the virus to ALL be given the same advice. ALL wear a mask indoors in public places and socially distance . Period.
Discrimination is supposed to be against the law but the Government are happy to completely ignore the law and also support members of the public who also break the law by discriminated against the unvaccinated who have an equal right to free speech and choice.
We are all to blame so stop blaming each other, wear a mask indoors in public, socially distance and stop this nonsensical discrimination against unvaccinated people who are half as likely to spread the virus.
Great Britain used to be democratic and have freedom of speech. Now we are just Britain since Blair stifled free speech with that stupid "hate speech" law. Britain is rapidly becoming a dictatorship with this and the anti-vax laws.
This hate speech law should be amended to "threatening speech" to allow everyone the right to speak out freely about any topic such as immigration etc so long as there is no threatening behaviour.
All threatening behaviour has always been illegal anyway so there is no need for this utterly stupid "hate speech" law which is also illegal in itself as it discrimates against free speech and debate in what used to be "Great" Britain.
Rant over.
