I'm impressed I still need a comb at my age :)
Vegas...I’m impressed you can still afford a comb being an AVCT shareholder.....hopefully one day we’ll all be in First Class ! GL.
Sorry oxygen just got back from day out
Yes it's ludicrous that business class is different from tourist, working class as I am I've been fortunate to fly business
My concern has always been why I cannot board carrying a metal comb but are given metal cutlery and real wine glass when eating.... As Ndn would post lmao

Say no more.
And I won’t
I genuinely believe in Avacta. Just not yet.
It's not what I say AgentB it's what the evidence says, that's the important bit not what Nikki Minaj or Matt Le Tissier say or the local Taxi Driver, what the scientific evidence says.
I look forward to you reminding me, have a good weekend
Gr33ning I am very sorry to hear about your swede. But I think you can take comfort from the fact that the Swedes will probably emerge from this pandemic better than most.
Whatever you say Pic. At some point in the (probably not-too-distant-) future, I will remind you of your post here. Meanwhile, the link I posted for MrA is also relevant for you.
Totally agree with you Picathartes. If I want to read conspiracy carp I'll go on to Qanon. AgentB, I'm afraid you have to go in a bix of green. I know that won't bother you but the last 2 weeks of you drivelling on has done my swede in.
Exaclty, AgentB you cant seem to see the overwhelming evidence, that Vaccines have massively effected the number of hospitalisations and deaths - can you not see that? Yes both are currently rising and will probably go higher BUT hopefully nowhere near as high as the time pre vaccines. Cast your mind back to the time of the first two lockdowns, the hospitalisation rates were soaring and so were the deaths. Now both are creeping up and not soaring as they were causing the NHS to be unable to function properly. No one is saying that Vaccines are without side effects for some people, this has never been disputed by anyone involved with them. But you have to balance the number of deaths from covid (c4.5 million so far) with the side effects/deaths from vaccines - this is what we have to balance.
What you and your vaccine conspiracy ilk would do, would allow countless more millions to die all because of your bizarre conspiracy theory, luckily there are far more sane and rational thinking people in the world than vaccine conspi******s
On the contrary Pic, I have learnt today that my Avacta timelines perfectly match those of the ace investor Myles McNulty.
Furthermore, hospitalisation rates have been going up rapidly since June https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/
Well you seem to have lost all sense and proportion of things just because your gamble with Avacta hasn't played out as you expected AgentB. For someone who is/was invested in a Biotech company you display remarkable stupidity, and I would suggest if you consider all Pharma/Biotech involved in conspiracy then this area of investing is not for you.
Anyone who can't see what Vaccines have done for the hospitalisation and death rate is clearly an idiot and would be better staying away from science and would be better off with Alex Jones rather than Alistair Smith!
For travellers.
I think the boat is moving and if no deal has already been made then it may be missed.
Jet2 info.
https://www.jet2holidays.com/covid-19-test.
So in the real world people going on holiday use the links to the tests etc and LFTs for going or coming back are paid for.
The big driver is cost.
£15 for the cheapest one.
So which one will people tend to use?
One that offers what Avacta offer or the cheapest.
The answer will be cheapest and most convenient.
I hope they have not missed the boat and they have another plan in place but without home use this ain't going to happen.
Cannot remember the dates etc that we expected the green light for the test to be ok for home use but I am sure we should have had this by now.
Currently sat in Limassol aboard a royal Caribbean ship the Jewel,We traveled to Cyprus last week without being tested, before boarding we were given a Chinese LFT (wouldn’t share the name) test results were back in about 30 minutes,Yesterday the whole ship was tested and this morning after all the guests had left two ambulances turned up on the dock and four people were escorted off by people wearing Azsmat suits with all the luggage bubble wrapped,Max capacity 2500 we sailed with 600 last week 1200 this week,These ships are hurting and any improvement in testing would be a massive shot in the arm to the whole industry.
For MrA
Now this is relevant! https://youtu.be/0W61JOWlRdM
Vegas.....I fly to Oz frequently ( or did ! ) and would be happy, as with most, to see everyone tested before hand. For Long Haul I suspect it may well become a requirement now Governments are relaxing their own requirements. Plus would make little impact on Business Class or indeed Economy fares. We live in hope !
Howzaty, agree, this has opened the way for future other tests, I can see doctors surgeries with a cupboard of tests for a variety of ailments that currently require sending samples away, consuming 2 or more appointments.
Just to say the LFT business that has been established over the last 12 months is bigger than Covid and to a degree underwrites the share price. Point Biopharma's engagement with Affimers is growing and underwrites the share price to a degree, BAMS has not died, ELISA tests are being sold. Affimers themselves are worth a fortune and continue to be marketed in a world where Antibodies developed in animals are to be phased out. In my own opinion there are plenty of opportunities to regain the 280p if all else goes tits up and 2500p disappears over the horizon.
Ndn, I didn’t say I believed it, I said I would be accused of it. Big difference.
Oxygen, your right but I believe that will change, I drive past Glasgow airport everyday and rarely see an aircraft take off or land
Airlines want aircraft in the sky it's the only time it earns money, they will do all they can to achieve that, it's about passenger confidence too
You live in Spain? How's tourism there?
For cruise liners in particular stating that fellow passengers will be tested and confirmed Covid free with an easy painless and high accuracy LFT s a huge selling point. Why Airlines would hesitate to offer the same defies logic in my opinion.
“Vaccine, Vaccine Uber Alles”
I’m not aware of any Airline that currently requires passenger testing as it subdues booking revenue, preferring to rely solely upon Destination entry requirements. Seems we’ve now entered into a world where proof of vaccination dominates flawed thinking.
The Government are pants and cannot be relied upon.
Just repeat that every week.
FTI Consulting are pretty pants too. You missed that out and that’s also a repeating item
Spot on sleepy, can you do a summary every week?
So to sum up the week.
All of us are excited about the medium term potential of AVA.
Re the LFT some are optimistic. Some have doubts about its ability to rerate us.
Ophidian is optimistic
Robbo and his friend are optimistic
Myles is optimistic (but doesn't want anyone remortgaging their house based on what he is saying)
No
The Government are pants and cannot be relied upon.
Many on the board are complaining of lack of info despite being promised a full company wide update on the 30th.
That about cover it?
