"Medusa 19 are working with their partner, Medusa 19 Life Sciences"
What does 95% accuracy mean? Also am I the only one concerned about the 95% specificity if true?
They wouldn't want to p iss off AVCT just before launch by selling a competitor!
Having read each page of the Medusa website the only partner I see mentioned is Avacta.
I don't see how Fox.
But that is how the page reads.
So either somehow they have or the person responsible for that page is a ****. lol
Only 1 of them is wrong. It’s missing an ‘a’.
I used to work as a web developer, it’s easy to accidentally post something that hasn’t been properly QA’d.
As long as they can deliver the test through the letter box.. They are always going to be blinded by the £ . I am pretty sure it will be our test.
Of course it’s our test, Medusa are a distributor they haven’t knocked a lab up and produced a there own test in month have they FFS
I agree with MilkM0NSTA. It seems that there are 2 tests but why?
Still got it open.
“Providing rapid results within 10 minutes.”
For what it's worth, two of the three email addresses given down the bottom on that Medusa19 website are wrong As well. Doesn't fill you with confidence.
Agree MilkM0NSTA
Almost looks like they’re talking about a completely separate test that they’re developing? Very odd.
Something fishy here?
RSPT (Rapid Saliva Protein Test) is not our stick is it? On the page as a separate item to the Avacta Antigen test.
No sure what is going on with that. Anyone?
I suspect who ever is developing the website unfortunately had no clue/ couldn't care less what is price sensitive
All I see is the below
Oops, something went wrong!
The page you've asked for is not here
It is swab not swap Medusa
where is that text from ?
It does seem like someone has dropped a ******* mind, having that info available on a public search. I guess it could just even be a draft, to be tweaked when the final Sens/Spec are actually known. However, it’s feels ‘real’ and at the very least it shows us just how things are falling into place. :-)
I wonder if it was a sneaky back-door 15 minute buying clue for the well researched.
No idea what they’re playing at. The expression of interest part has gone, ‘accuracy’ is meaningless, so I don’t believe it. If anything they might be branding the Awacta LFDs as Medusa, but then mentions the Awacta test separately. Who knows, but I’m not convinced it’s anything to be excited about for Awacta. Smells like something...
They must have got hold of the test sensitivity results etc from AVCT and jumped the gun. AVCT will have to RNS soon either way.
Wow. Price sensitive info not in an RNS.
"Comparable results with a PCR test for asymptomatic patients but without significant discomfort from throat and nasal swap and considerable delay in results."
Personally, I hate nasal swaps.
"a PCR test for asymptomatic patients but without significant discomfort from throat and nasal swap" ...yep, that would certainly cause quite some discomfort.
Great spot Spike66. I can feel I've done a little wee or whatever it was
