You've probably answered this a few 100 times but why the continual delay with the approval. I am a shareholder and decided to stop checking every day. What exactly is Alastair Smith waiting on?
Ndn - comments that were lies. That’s why people challenge your lunacy.
how would they be supplying to business when on their site they still describe Affidx as "in development"
And marketing team worth their salt wold have jumped on this by now and had their "key distributor" correct the facts on the website. Its Medusa's choice whether they sell it as professional use or not, but surely they must be expected to get the facts right.
Mind you its a convenient line to take if you want people to buy your own brand offering instead...... just saying!
I mearly made a suggestion NDN, I didn't tell you to do anything, and your irony calling others bullies is astounding.
All you ever seem to do is comment about how poorly things are going, and how terrible AS is and how clearly nothing is happening, from my perspective I'm up from 18p in less than 2 years and I think that this business is incredibly well run. Show me how many other businesses on the LSE, or any market for that matter have had the progress Avacta have had in the last two years, increased the share price by 10x and managed to gain funding to avoid further dilution for years to come. Just because the current news flow doesn't suit your short term narrative all you do all day is slate the company and anyone who happens to disagree with you.
When we are officially notified that medusa has indeed achieved HUA, and has actually been manufacturing and already supplying Affidx to Businesses, some of you will just wish you had bought in at these levels instead of constantly trying to drive the price down ;-)
GLA all genuine holders and take a running jump to the rest, we were all born equal with the chance to become unequal - don't let them steal your dream !
Why less than half price Vegas, most of us LTHs bought in around about the 18p mark when it looked like an incredible cancer business!
Geez...you guys are so funny...
Why would any company give a blow by blow concerning their day to day goings on when they are in competition with many other companies...
It's new tech...it's in the hands of others to approve...we don't do the manufacturing...we only sell to large house accounts and our distributors will do the marketing/sales...
Above all we don't want to be grouped in with the likes of Innova...better to wait a little longer to get full approvals not time limited emergency usage etc...
I'm loving all the green..keep it up guys...when you're here we all know something good is happening behind the scenes...order filling comes to mind..be it Jupiter trying to get out or someone else trying to get in...
How many of you will still be here when the news starts to break...
It’s not false. HUA is to be delivered.
I didn't know about AVCT then Vegas. Small Bio-pharms have never been on my radar before (too risky) and I was alerted to this by a friend who said i should look at it in June just before the placing because of the LFT potential.
You in for the cancer treatment wyn? Sounds like BS didn't you buy in originally about April 2020?
An experienced investor like you should have bought in a little earlier before the LFD news it would have been half the price
BITL, playing devils advocate... why doesn't everybody else here stop talking about LFT's and its imminent transformation of the company?
because by constantly failing to rationally discuss why there are delays it could be giving false hope to the "concerned".
The fact is this has been delayed by about 12 months now, with no clear explanation as to why form AVCT. We don't know when HUA will be approved, and we don't know what the demand for the AVCT test will be in this now crowded market place. The assumption is once we get it it will take off but there is no evidence that this will be the case. Airlines are placing orders now (and previously) to be ready to use LFT's. Why would they change to AVCT?
The only yardstick i see we have to make any sort of guestimate, is B2B sales and therefore I am pessimistic based purely on the seemingly slow uptake of the B2b test sales.
What none here to want to accept is that testing is a waste of money (I just spent £5 to find out i am fine or I don't feel very well I might have covid, so I spend £5 to confirm what i already thought)
It has value when there is no alternative, now with vaccines and anti virals and a hugely more crowded market, govt's and companies and individuals will all look to cut back on the need to test. Thats why it has a shelf life.
And also bear in mind apparently catching covid naturally gives the body greater resistance that vaccines for future covid infection and therefore the necessity for testing diminishes every day.
AffiDX did not fail Porton Down.
Stop lying.
You should probably sell up and move on then ndn
This thread is like a who's who of derampers. Hilarious.
The voice of wisdom sadly it will travel over many heads and they will not hear it.
Wyn - so. Playing devils advocate, the LFT is a totally failure and only cancer stuff left to be concerned about.
Stop talking about it. You’re aiming to spook the concerned based on your nonsense.
David Wilson? Easy money to date on the strength of the sales!
Thanks for the advice BITL but perhaps wait to be asked?
I am in for the cancer therapy not the LFT which i have stated,... ooh I don't know, ...a million times, when it was blindingly obvious that LFT timelines were constantly being missed. (it is almost November for crying out loud!)
Wyndrum. Sell.
The thing i find odd is that M19 spent £20m going into manufacture but seem content for the investment to stand idle.
The company was formed in April 20 but does not have to submit accounts for the year ending April 21 until Jan '22 so can't get a read on what the company is doing and what test are being sold(if any).
I also assume there is nothing to stop them selling the AVCT test B2B? but that is never mentioned by AS or anyone else so I assume the capacity available is not being used for that and yet there is a shortage (apparently) of LFT's
HUA will be welcome but surely through B2B there is enough demand through the EU & UK for 5m plus per month?
What is healthcare doing? are no hospitals, no care homes using the test?
Where is the Asia PacificCE mark that was so straightforward to get months ago?
IMO, Something is not right here.
No. It’s not Avacta’s decision. Do you not get this yet????
Also; how stable was the SP when AS decided to communicate CE submission and provide timescales? Didn’t work out too well, did it. And you for one criticised him for providing optimistic timescales.
Either take you money and go. Or just be quiet. You’re a virus.
No they didn’t feel the need to.
The test is only the ‘best test’ if people can actually use it. Yes yes yes, Bighero knows it’s for sale for professional use in tiny quantities. It needs to be like breakfast and available for everyone to do on their own. The best test is one that’s accurate and widespread, like breakfast - accurately fills you up and lots of people have it. Currently Orientgene is the ‘best test’.
Could it be that M19 have exclusive rights to manufacture/sell Avacta's HUA for Home Testing, but are deliberately manufacturing/selling their own as it is more profitable to M-19? M-19 will only manufacture Avacta's if there was a supply issue/manufacturing issue with their primary HUA test kit? Because the contract is exclusive, I assume that no other bugger can manufacture and sell it? If so, then at this rate we will never sell any. What a **** situation.
@Ndn71. That's Hilarious!!
"The only people interested are Avacta shareholders!"
If that's the case, then why are so many non shareholders constantly filling this BB with their pearls of wisdom?
