Pete640: agree, I think Aviva missed a good solid buy with Interactive Investor (ii). But in Amanda, we trust.
Trotsky, II beat everybody in getting monies in account before I woke at 8am. Both divi and consolidation monies, plus II let you invest in POG, POLY and others, that HL and AJBell don’t. II getting better, just don’t know why Aviva didn’t buy II, instead of ABDN getting in their on the cheap!
Divi via Halifax still not in yet. Normally the afternoon before it arrives. On the plus side I was able to buy on Monday morning when others couldn’t.
Capital and dividend all paid with HL and all straight back in aviva
Just received the capital return in my EQI account but no divi yet.
Just received my capital return in AJ Bell. Bit slower than ii but both were slower than HL it would appear. It seems that HL has won the "best mainstream execution only broker contest (this time?)" unless anybody else has a contender.
Just spoken with Halifax . They are not doing anything until at least 25th apparently. Reckon that's the date on the paperwork even though it's the 19th May! Time to switch I think.
Also bit the bullet and reinvested. Now own 30% more of the company than I did before and a few quid left in my pocket!
Just reinvested cap and divs in AV via HL.. Had to manually transfer div cash.. ( easy to do)
£4.15/£4.16. better than 4.23) . If the Times article is correct, then next years div might be 37p rather than 31p.. given Solvency II ratio and excess over 180% being released to shareholders if the business can't find another purpose for it.
Still have the holding in Barclays to do.. ( when they get round to it). Might get it lower than £4.15.. as it wouldn't be good to have all the brokers issue the cash all at the same time.
GL.
Who are you with Warthog?
I have also received my return of capital on Hargreaves Lansdowne. Still awaiting dividend. Very nice!!! Thank you very much. The SP will now steadily climb over the next few weeks. Good luck all. Atb Popeye.
Must be doing it in surname alpha order 'cos my divi ain't arrived yet!!
HL now posted Lloyds Divs Av Divs and B share cash.. v v good. Re invested all
Have received dividend and capital return on ii.
Have received dividend on AJ Bell; still awaiting capital return.
which platform ?
got return of capital reinvested at 412p still waiting for div
So I’ve got my div and the cash distribution both through now, am I right in thinking I’m waiting for B shares now? Or did that cash distribution technically the B shares and I have to reinvest them ?
Yeah, the ROC line remained for about 5 mins, then disappeared. ROC line still on my SIPP.
I also just got my redemption capital in HL isa .. ( no div yet) Waiting for non-isa.
Bought at £410.78. anything below £4.23 is fine with me..
The HL system must be steam powered, I think, Rylidan, because nothing's changed on my ISA yet. Still got the RoC line.
Just got my ISA cash. Waiting for SIPP still
I will probably reinvest here as long as the price doesn't rise. However shares are falling and this is being held up by the capital return. My fear is that after a day or two these will catch up on the fall. My LG shares are plummeting.
Just contacted Halifax nothing until 31st
Did try the suggestion of manual trf in HL , but nothing in capital account to transfer yet. Will assume others are right and it will land at lunchtime.. Will look at Barclays later today too.
Are those that received the div today investing back into Aviva at £4.09 or waiting for US markets to open at sat 14.30pm and see which direction it goes.. At the moment AV seems to be holding up nicely..
Just contacted Halifax nothing until 31st
