Alnost every listed company has a debt. Were they not able to repay it, has the debt maturity date been reached? This company was a leader at the delusting time. Shareholders were told about takeover of another company so nobody sold. Incredible how thus has ended. No court case, no investigation, deal done, shareholders lost all, directors and family happy ever after.
A parasite will attach to a host until it has drained as much life as possible. ( the host may die if sufficiently weakened) The now bloated parasite will then detach from its host and Continue to find a new host with which to repeat the process.
Interesting article on CEO. I looked at it in 2010 and did trade it but very aware it was filth - CEO was lending the business money at a 7% or 8% interest rate - massive red flag. To think Blackrock took 10%, shame on them.
If you go onto companies house, search on Atlantic Carbon Administration, there are documents there that explain the process to date and moving forward. Basically, shareholders will get eff all as not owed monies. Apparently, they had $47m of debt!!!!
Nothing came out Gary, any chance you could give a run down on what these swindlers have done??
No, it hit admin, creditors paid in a certain order, shareholders last. Game over
Nothing came back to us then I take it?
The shareholders got scammed that’s what they got!
Have the shareholders got anything?
The company acquired Hazleton Shaft Corporation in June 2016 and in 2017 became one of the largest anthracite mines in the US. In 2019 CCI & HS merged into Atlantic Carbon Group Inc. It operates Stockton and Spring Mountain Mines, and the Jeansville and Hazleton Shaft Mines.
