i have to say this does not look like a pump and dump at all. With a P&D, there is normally so much publicity and ramping.
On this thread alone there have been only a handful of comments (most are mine!!)
It was interesting that the price reacted so radically to news of the slow release from lockdown . We all guessed that this was coming but the shares hardly reacted over the past month. then all hell breaks loose. Its not currently worth 25 p on trading prospects as this was the price last March on account of an imminent takeover. Currently lots of small trades but now it has got back up towards the former trading range lets hope(and I think it will) draw in the Saudis to bid about what they were intending last year. The company has done well to stay afloat and is a leaner operation in any case and thank you for Japan for paying for Olympics in successive years! the fun has not finished quite yet in any case!!
Share talk saying that if it breaks 15p. Which it did today. It will go up the 25p. So fingers crossed.
I bought them virtually 3 years ago to the day and they cost a lot more than that I’m afraid. One of my first investments, so not too much involved and taught me a few things, although nobody could predict the pandemic. I will just hold in there for a return.
this was 27p precovid?
I have been in a while, pre-COVID, so currently showing a large loss. No point in selling before, so good to see this rise. With the likes of Wimbledon, GP’s etc opening up later this year hopefully, rise should continue IMO. A good bet at this SP certainly.
seems to be happening here. Not the type of shares i normally invest in but i have taken a punt.
Have Saudis reached the level where they have to make an offer for the company?
Not for me this is the start of something. This company and its partners have a pent up demand that we haven't seen in sports and the events market (potentially ever)
This should hold up today. and upwards over next few months.
Should do very well over the next few weeks and months. Gla, dyor and imho
This is a welcome sight
I’m hoping today’s news from Boris about possibly events kicking off again in June is going to be very positive for the share price here.
I believe this is a better outcome than the BOD would have predicted in January. USA UAE also in a position to put on events too. I'd expect a move to 12 p and then onto 15, obviously the demand is massive
Stockopedia is forecasting a divi of 1p per share for 2021!!! Surely this is incorrect. Any of you guys have any thoughts on this? Regards
Somebody seems to be accumulating stock this morning.
Probably the Saudis buying in again.
Nice to see it moving up again.
Just brought in for 30 countries and just extended to include the UAE can't be good for business I would have thought.
Considering the present market and the nature of this stock I don’t think we can knock the the confidence in it .
Thankyou Fuse - Good info and knowledge..
sounds like its likely at some stage. I guess the question is at what price per share.. again may be just chat but i heard or read somewhere the offer was 25p a share..
What’s the story with the saudi guy buying 27% - heard something about a proposed buy out early this year that was put on hold when covid hit. Can anyone confirm with some facts or was it just PI chat?
Also what threshold needs to be bought/held that triggers an offer. Is it 30% ?
Agree. With the third vaccine approved we just have to be patient for things to get back to some kind of normal ( though I suspect we won’t see full normal for a while yet )
Like many shares I’ve picked up recently..patience will prove very profitable
Moderna vaccine approved in UK today thats the 3rd vaccine available to UK now.
We will get back to living this year.
That should have been "A few years ago" in my previous post
