Graham1981 inbought in a few months back and it hasnt served me too well so far. Pricing a miner like this is impossible and it helps if one has the money to sit and wait. Luckily my long term holiding in WSG is starting to pay off handsomely so my luck is in and I might be in for a few more here soon. The right call would have been to saty away though
CRUX have replied to me saying the interview may be uploaded tonight... possibly tomorrow. Drill results should work this one up
4.5p, yes I have 1.5 million shares at 3.1p.
Really? After all our hopes of 30p+ a share you'd settle for just over 4p?
With a few good assays and hopefully on new targets I'd be happy if he gets $40m
Well if so I hope he gets a better deal than he did with Casa...must have been the best he could do...but I think many of us were hoping for a least 7/10m..that life..onwards and upwards
Feels like he's gonna flog the lot soon... Will put an end to the lingering...
I also like the fact that if more gold is found they pay more so we could over time receive more than what we get in Jan 2020.
Bought more on Friday. Ned
Quite a while and a lot. He never said it was worth £20-£30m. The figure was always going to be inflated, because you're not going to tell potential buyers that it's worth less. Low to mid double digits I took to mean $10-15m.
It's def the right call in our circumstances. Asset that burns cash removed, with some debt gone and cash in. I think it's a result.
@ twohits, jofan. Not sure how long youve been invested here or how much research youve done but this is what Nick said in the february investor call...
Re sale of Sturec...mid single tier digits (millions..pound millions) and Casa...low to mid double digit dollar figures.
Ok hes talking dollars for Casa but anyway, low to mid double digits suggests somewhere between 10 and 50...the consensus opinion on here as i remember was of around 20 to 30m. Wishful thinking maybe, but wether pounds or dollars its a long way from the circa 2m well be getting.
Not saying it was worth 20m but thats certainly the figure many had in mind, so yes it is dissapointing and i dont believe anyone who says otherwise.
That said, its probably the right call in our present circumstances. Gets rid of a millstone and gives us some cash to stave off any dilution for a while longer.
Meanwhile hopefully we can prove up more resources and get a MRE at C East and hopefully the interest from majors will come to something.
I was expecting the sp to be at 5p on news of Casa sale...seems a long way of now but havent lost hope. Lots going on and still confident of a good profit on my investment here.
Potential revenue for 2020 was mentioned in yesterday's interviews by John Meyer of SP Angel and NvS. Meyer reckons $10-18m which tallies with NvS expecting a few thousand tonnes of contained copper. On the low end, with continued weak copper prices, that equates to about £8m. Such a sum would allow for the drill bits to turn in the Spring, with news in coming weeks and months on the as yet unreported drilling. Not too shabby for a company with current MCap of £19m which has only scratched the surface of its multiple anomaly zones. And it only takes one cracker and / or entry of a major for Arc to multi-bag from here. Keep the faith...
Could not resist adding few this morning.....the current MC is way too low IMHO....must say not only here....very depresing ,and punishing market atm....better time will come...eventually.
We are now solvent, producing copper.... majors interested. An expanding resource and drill results soon on new anomalies, I've topped up again, the SP is pure madness. We are the market, take some more if you believe!!!
I agree. Ive never heard £20m being banded about. This has always been on the elbow list and its positive to lose a liability and gain some cash
It was never going to sell for £20-£30m. Anyone eho expected that is nuts. It would’ve meant zero or negative value for everything else. We’ve got some cash in for an asset that burnt $500k a year in a dreadful jurisdiction. I didn’t think we’d ever get rid of it. Happy days. This will bounce.
The drop is understandable because expectations were of circa 20 to 30 million quid and we got less than 2 million.
It might be the right deal for us at the moment but its well below what we were hoping for.
What a weird day, 6% drop in SP on the best news this year.... looks like this may be playing out until the full sale
Had email with Nick who answered a couple of questions and confirmed DRC was definitely not in the plans of potential Zam purchasers and is now very Bullish on " this is the road to a much bigger deal going forward .
