Christ on a bike! Should I get you the number for the Samaritans?
Delayed 1m SELL, to add to the 750k at 09:06/07...
I suspect the AA offer was conservative and the PI market valuation of ARCM unrealistic. I had shares in Amerisur (Colombia oil), they went up to 26p based on a strategic review but MMs quickly knocked the price down to 19p and lower, PIs thought this crazy for months whilst market waited for the final deal and everyone said 'we woz robbed' when an offer came in at guess 19p but in hindsight it was very cheap but about right given the country risk. I don't particularly like investing in Zambia because govt has klepto tendencies and miners need periods of excess prices to compensate for the lows.
Makes me wonder just what the AA offer was. Must have been well over 6p?
I can understand the frustration from the latest drop...but that will be short term doom and gloom mongers heavens...IMHO.
It will get better (much better...)soon enough.
GLA.
And to think I nearly sold at 8p but thought it would go to over 10p. Will have to stay to the end now. From 100% up to 20 % down in a matter of months. Boy that hurts
Well this is going well today.... not. Are results really that bad? Hoping for some company changing news soon with a JV.
@kully I'm getting the sense we have just begun here; the significant thing is we have found 4.3m of sulphides at or above Sentinels average grade of 0.54% Cu ... just not at any scale, well not yet anyway!
The other big plus for me is that whatever combination of geophysics and mineral ratio sampling they are using is now starting to yield tangible results. The only downside is the CE target is 4km x 1km so that means we will need a LOT of drilling, of course the upside is if we find more sulphides and at scale it is 4km x 1km = a LOT of Copper!

"including two intervals that returned assays of over 1% Cu" could also be relevant - as not very "Sentinel like " we'll see in full assays
Hi Apr, he says an extensive drilling campaign too! It's just inconclusive at the minute to understand what is / isn't regarding drill cores. I'm going to sit on the fence, until we've been notified of further developments. Too many people with a lot of money invested here, to jump to any conclusions. ATB everyone, next rns just give us the table of assays end of.
Maybe we will get that investor call that was mentioned a while back by a few people. It would be nice to get confirmation on a couple of points;
1. Are there further assays to be expected from the first hole?
2. Were any cores from Fwiji sent for assay?
If anyone is planning to email Nick with questions maybe they could add these on. It’s true that the standard of the RNS’s leave a bit to be desired sometimes, we shouldn’t need to second guess what’s going on.
@kully I'm also trying to unpack the RNS and whilst finding 4.3m sulphides @0.6% Cu it good news it also leaves a lot out hence the mixed reaction and SP drop.

Fulmar it says, from visual and XRF analysis, selected samples were sent to the lab. This one came back with mineralisation. So the other selected samples didn't? Its a very poor worded rns, is Covid the reason this lab was used? It doesn't seem to really tell anyone if they have deeper mineralisation to analyse or not? Just my observation of the wording of the rns!
My take is that is all we sent, hence " throughout the entire 4.3m sample assayed including up to 4.3m @ 0.6% Cu (including 1.8m @ 0.8% Cu or 3.3m @ 0.7%) and two intervals of over 1% Cu". it is not the usual assay lab we use and my guess is it is just a quick snapshot. misunderstood by the market and so the follow up company tweet-majors will not have missed the relevance or the opportunity !
Evening everyone. The wording of the rns has left a lot of people including myself confused. Does the rns indicate that the sample batch which was sent to the lab, is the only batch that hit mineralisation so far? Its difficult to know if any more batch samples are awaiting the lab results? I wasn't bullish, pre drilling that we'd hit thick zones of sulphides /oxides. Purely because I didn't want people buying into the company on drilling results! In case they were poor? Does anyone else think that there is more batch samples to return from the lab with mineralisation? The wording of the rns is incredibly poor communication to the shareholders. 500m were the depths of the drilling this campaign, so surely there are further assays awaiting to be released from the lab?
the comment from today's RNS indicate to me that we are getting the hang of working out where deposits are."This is the first time that the Arc team has targeted the anomalies generated by multielement geochemical characterisation study carried out last year, targeting Muswema and Cheyeza East as the first and second priorities respectively with Muswema still to be drilled. The immediate success in intersecting sulphide copper mineralisation is extremely encouraging given the number and re-ranking of targets that have arisen as a result of this study".And I believe the sub message here is we have worked out how to do it with previous survey work and now having intensified the Aeromaag survey things are going to get an awful lot more interesting. The news that we will be better able to identify the right places to drill will mean that they are already pretty knowledgeable about the areas and what they hold and explain the reference to potential lengths of deposits and the as yey undrilled Muswema-Zambian budget on Friday should give the green light to majors
Another good RNS today. The sp has been all too predictable recently re good news followed by a drop. Just confirms to me again the only thing which will move us on is a JV or better!! A major would be drilling the sh*t out of our licences whereas we simply can't afford it. Come on Nick, put me out of my misery and get us bought out for 50p!
Well it has to be said, either the market isn't impressed by the RNS, or the market makers are pulling someone's pilsner.
I agree with Ella, unless its a positive post then you are bullied, there is another view here, and for those that like myself have been here for a number of years nothing ever changes, imminent, shortly, drilling has started, NDAs, in talks with majors, problems with directors, court cases, i could go on.
The gravy train needs to keep going for some, nothing conclusive ever happens, little bounce each year, results are not as expected, then more will come shortly and on we go. The 3 million will be gone and a raise will be on the way, then possible another exclusivity agreement with one of NVS mates to keep it going, it truly is becoming a joke.
