Warren, you can't be serious-you cannot be suggesting that there are parasitical scum in this world that go onto bb's and deliberately try and scare punters and talk a share down for their own benefit ! I won't hear of it,surely no one could sink that low ! :-))
Unless they have chosen to buy in recently? Or already have a holding and seeking to add?
I’m sure excitement will follow some positive drill results. Imagine if the share price is lifted by KCB results before we get confirmation of the Anglo JV…. All that work the likes of Ella/Peggy/Travelcard/Etc, have been doing to try and suppress the share price will have been for nothing :-)
I am surprised that ENRG Elements (previously Kopore) haven't made more of a fuss of the drilling. They have a free carry on a 25% interest and are listed on the ASX. The ASX have quite strict disclosure rules and $EEL don't appear to have even put out an announcement about the drilling. A bit odd considering the interest in Cobre.
Frankly I’m just amazed that there is not more excitement here about the KCB drilling programme. Following last night’s session on the ASX Cobre’s share price has put on 820% since they announced their KCB drilling results in late July, and around 2,200% from their June lows. Any success with ARCM’s maiden drilling programme should therefore attract a wall of money coming into the stock.
I'm impressed :-).
Yes
Hi Fulmar,
Any thoughts on when that good news will land?
It''s good news for us....! Better than some are expecting would be my wild guess....!
Smiling ? I absolutely pi ss myself laughing at the trolls :-))
Will look forward to that. I hope its not a cadastrophe for us : - D
Keep smiling!
Generally with regard to politicians I try not to get too enthusiastic as they always seem to go wrotten in the end.But this guy does seem to be the real deal. And if what I think will happen to the cadastre does happen, then he's not averse to upsetting some of the old guard,in the interest of the country and the general public.
The cadastre speech (when it arrives) should leave no doubt to what he is looking to achieve and how he wants to do it.
Its refreshing to see his attitude and engagement with people fulmar. It looks like his appointment is a popular one and i genuinely think hes trying to do the right things.
There are a lot of tweets this morning - i wonder if hes doing some sort of speech?
When I saw that Value,I thought if that statement was applied to the lefty, woke, militant money wasting English councils and civil servants we would lose well over half of the personnel.
Good to see drills on site in bots, but as per my msg yesterday re: zam, cant wait to progress things there.
Interesting tweet from HH:
If a colleague in your council is not working to unlock economic activities in your community, they are in the wrong place. #LocalGovernment #ServiceDelivery
Made me chuckle given extended period we now need to complete the deal...
Twitter is showing the first drills on site in Botswana. I was just thinking back to the bb's and professional flack the BoD took when they announced a placing and the purchase of Virgo. They knew it was coming but" sometimes even when you know there will be short term grief, you have to make decisions and go for it".The price that Arc paid for Virgo will be repaid in many, many multiples if we see mineralization, I feel Bots was a political as well as commercial purchase which may well prove fruitful in many many ways...!
NvS also mentioned in the last investor call that we had been offered another license in Zambia. If we decided to take that up and it was something Anglo is also interested in, that may also need resolving once the Cadastre Department reopens. Not saying that is going to happen, just a possibility.
We know that the President received the audit report at the end of May:
https://www.lusakatimes.com/2022/05/29/mining-audit-report-finalised-and-handed-over-to-president-hichilema/
And the Department was expected to reopen ‘soon’. That was two and a half months ago… so clearly there have been plenty of issues to resolve.
Most of the people selling yesterday would have been the 10%’ers, who would have sold even if a deal had been announced! It’s going to take more than a positive RNS to make most LTH’s sell a bean :-)
You may have thought that a deal would be announced within the 90 days but most LTH's knew that we needed the licenses renewed first. As I think the first 90 days are up tomorrow, I certainly knew that we were into the second 90 days.
I must congratulate the ARCM boys on a beautifully crafted RNS.
Small_Holding, we didn't know that 'we were into the second 90 days'.
"Accordingly, a second 90 day exclusivity period will commence to allow sufficient time for the conclusion of the due diligence and the negotiation and execution of the Joint Venture Documents as contemplated in the original announcement of 12 May 2022 relating to the transaction."
There is no mention of what aspects of the DD have been successfully completed or any agreement. My guess is that things are currently stalled and that a further 90 days may commence at some stage in the future, when Anglo are more comfortable (perhaps related to the licences or the mining policy in Zambia).
Yesterday morning we knew that we were into the second 90 days, that the Cadastre closing had caused a delay and that the licence renewals were the sticking point preventing the deal being announced.
Arc issue an RNS to announce the maiden drilling programme at Botswana is underway, now does NvS give an update on the AA deal or not mention it because it is still covered by the original deal.
He chooses to give a brief update which confirms what investors already knew, get the licenses renewed and the deal is ready.
It seems, damned if he does and damned if he doesn't.
I still say, get the two licenses renewed by the Cadastre and a deal will follow very soon afterwards.
Another 90 days puts us in November, or the rainy season. Most people might expect Anglo to be able to drill year round, but these things take infrastructure which takes time to build. And no company is going to start doing anything until DD is finished and a JV is formed. So this pretty much confirms no drilling in Zambia until 2023, and probably no results until the second half of 2023 at the very earliest.
Pleased to hear about Botswana and I’m looking forward to some good news flow from this.
Haha. Brilliant.
I hate been caught unawares. I try to follow trading as closely as i can (sometimes too close). Most companies do 7am rns as this gives max opportunity for press coverage.
If a co issues them midday or at the end of day i personally see it as a red flag as it looks like they are trying to hide/bury something.
Just my preference.
I think I noticed a couple of comments earlier about 7am RNSs and I am partly to blame as at an AGM we were asked if we wanted 7am's or just as and when they were available-guess what we went for :-)) "Guilty as charged your honour"
what about the casa stuff, why not update in the RNS today too!
ANOTHER 90 days....to top up.
