sorry Jimbo! (no idea how big you are)
Jumbo that made me smile :)
Indeed.
One other point of note today is that we are clearly a leveraged play on BTC price (with a dash of news thrown in to vary things a little) - it BTC falls a little, we fall by c. x2 which seems to hurt. if rises, we rise by c. x3.5. It is why w e love it and hate it so.

Yeah, but HODL ;-)
Last night the yanks went up 40% on a falling BTC market, it was $49500 at 16:30 and $49100 at close. We are at $49200 now and we should be at least at the OBCQX close price
Morning all. I've been reading these boards for a while now and there's appears to be a consistent set of themes.
Some people want the price to go up all day every day (except when they buy)
Some people are looking to the future and have a set price in mind at which they'll sell all or some of their holdings
Some people want us to buy CLP and stamps apparently?
Some people are doing this to change their lives by Tuesday next week
Some people are doing this to change their lives by a Tuesday next year
But all in all, we're all looking to make a profit (I hope) we just have different time scales and objectives.
So, essentially there's no point getting annoyed at other people's trading behaviour hang on and you will hopefully achieve your objective (although probably not by next Tuesday)
You haven’t at Band1t, you’ve made me smile, reminds me of my early penny trading days....“do I think it’s going down, do I think it’s going up”......best of luck, we all start somewhere.
Sorry if I hurt your feelings.
Thanks for the lesson, but, I’ll sell when I think it’s going down and buy when I think it’s going up.
I just keep buying! Its now become a habit!
Halifax must be loving me, with all the separate chunks I keep loading up on @ £12.50 a buy!
BTC is going sideways.
Holding strong..the rollercoaster continues
So I reckon that’s about 20 of us so far that agree the need to HODL, just need the rest to play ball! :-)
Currently 1.1m sold and 1.4m bought, so if we kept increasing this gap we then only need bitcoin to achieve above 50k to nudge towards £3
UK & US working together will make this happen!!
GLA
@Limping; this is more my point. If every time the US drags this up to above $4, we wake up and sell it all off, we are just holding the SP down. Agh well, the nature of the beast. Day traders will day trade, LTH like I will b*tch and moan about it. I'll just knock back a few tablets and nurse my throbbing head some more.
Once we get over £4 a lot of the chancers will think again about trying a single day punt. There are a lot of couple of hundred sells.
Not really @Jupiter, I think the context is more the sense that if the US keep moving this up, only for us to trade it away when we open leaving them back at square one each day, they’ll soon get bored of that (understandably). We all talk LTH, well it’s difficult to keep selling that play when the SP never gets much above £3 (on a good day, downhill with a tailwind!) because it gets dumped!
£2.50 is peanuts, I'm continuing to top up short term. I did laugh at your comment though hahah, what a plonker I look.
So you're annoyed that people are selling because you want a better price so you can... sell.
Irony. Overload.
The headaches I am getting from the folks in the UK is bewildering.
The friends across the pond digging deep and committing to the share. Too many day traders and people jumping out for a quick profit, it drives me crazy. Nonetheless, I hold and I wait for my exit price. Disappointed doesn't quite cut it.
