Not everyone is a trader. There are those that did their research early and bought last year or earlier on seeing huge value and are happy to wait for the short term fluctuations play out with eyes firmly fixed on a much bigger prize. To them, late-arriving naysayers are nothing more than pesky gnats.
talkinboutWillis - well, it does sound that you're a bit angry about everything, so I assumed you had lost money. And looking at your profile, the date you set up the account, it looks like you're relatively new. And judging by your reaction to my postings, it does look like you don't really know much about the markets. But that's fine. We all have to start somewhere. You're right though. I don't have many recommendations. But that's because most people here are holders, slowly watching their investment disintegrate. Why on earth would they recommend what I am saying if I am not ramping up the stock! You haven't by any chance got a Masters in the Bleedin' Obvious have you? You're also right that I may miss the boat. That's the nature of the game. But I'm easy about that. You may wish to be less emotional about people who you disagree with on investment boards though. Good luck my friend. And I hope you make money. But it isn't as easy as you had hoped.
You've assumed wrong about my entry point/s, Takahama. Very wrong. I just don't feel the need to band the figures about on here, willy-nilly. Usual de-ramping practise, straight out of the handbook. I suspect you'll never actually invest in this share due to talking too much and will eventually miss the boat. Then 'POOF', you'll simply disappear from this board and into the rising sun, without a trace. Check the amount of recommendations for your posts to see what others think of your worldly-wise musings on the topic
God help us if bitcoin crashed!!!
The septics are moving out of Afghanistan
talkinaboutWillis. I'm sorry you have lost money and have failed to react to the movement in the market. I'm sorry you have invested money in an area that you don't really understand. I hope you make your money back in due course. Why am I here? You'll find the longer you stay in this game that people watch stocks they haven't bought, and wait for dips - then they dip in when there is value - if there is value at all. If I were you, I'd be welcoming people like me because it means there are buyers waiting on the wings to push the price back up one day IF they see 'value'. I'm guessing you bought at a higher price without entirely understanding why you did so. Perhaps you were greedy and thought you could turn an easy buck. But that's fine. We all do that sometimes. I include myself there. It isn't easy. Anyway, good luck.
Absolute gobsmacked. Wish i had some cash to buy some more. Oh well another share that has to be left in the bottom drawer.
Heading right back to 80p £1 range. IMHO. Good luck all.
It seems something bigger is affecting this price & sector.
I've just noticed that gold is up 1% in a day, could that affect it? Could markets be worried about US/Russia tension or something extraneous like that do a downer on crypto?
Takayama and other one-pound parasites. You've made ZERO comments on the ARB board before today and suddenly you're now all over it! Well aren't you the silent expert watching from afar who's suddenly blessed us with your worldly-wise knowledge of investment??? I've seen more subtle deramping attempts attached to a sledgehammer. This is a minor blip in the road for LTH so zoom out and try and suck it up the best you can. The fundamentals haven't changed and ARB is better placed financially than 2 months ago. Zero sh*** given
If Matt can afford 500k then either he has got so much money it wouldn't matter or he is a fool
Last minute sell off before tomorrow's plunge I'm guessing. GLA, buyers and sellers included. I may miss out but perhaps not. The knife is falling etc. There are plenty of people familiar with that adage and are just as reluctant to jump in, so yes, further to fall I'm afraid.
Good point u01gjot. Let's keep the positive vibes going. There are a lot of people hurting and hoping. It will return up. I'm looking at the way ARB has invested in the Texas facility as an indicator of sound management. For big investors here its going to be a case of sit and wait. I agree with Takayama too. Go out, enjoy the sun, knock a few beers back and come back in a few weeks. GLA
Yes I think you are right it's broken below previous lows so I can see 1.20 ish coming
Might have first buy st 1.40 and see
There are increasingly more ways to invest in this space, e.g. Coinbase listing directly yesterday, and people are likely getting more comfortable buying the underlying assets; BTC, ETH etc via the multitudes of exchanges now available that are becoming more and more user friendly. In terms of the wider economy we're still early and no matter where you plonk your dosh profits will be made. ARB is a solid play if buying from the confines of a SIPP or ISA and I'm very comfortable holding.
Autonomy1 - Too right! I'm guessing further falls tomorrow. Not the most productive way to spend the day, watching the screen here! Rarely do I see a bounce back on a Friday. I'm looking for 120 here.
The old adage never catch a falling knife bug people dont listen
Matt007 - wow buddy! You're heavily invested here! Too heavily invested to be watching on a day to day basis! You should go out on your yacht and take it easy for a few weeks. When it drops enough, vultures like me will dive in and the price will go back up. Put your feet up for a bit!
Store of wealth - Bitcoin. Miners Argo, Riot, Mara, etc.
4th Stimulus cheque coming for the USA. What do you think that will do for the USD Dollar? No one is talking about the economy not even the Daily Mail.
Sorry to hear that Matt. I was in at 288p but small potatoes. It will come back up. Lot of people gotta be patient now (myself included). Good luck man.
No more funds to average down. Sunk 500k in here now! Gutted tbh. Averaged down from 264 to 197.
Wait for the bottom Matt and average down. Question is...where is the bottom? I'm gonna hold too. Let the MMs play their game and then buy in. This stock is classic 'pump and dump'. Get a load of RI's to invest. Hype it up then Milk, milk, milk. It will bottom but hold on. Seen it so many times...
Not good I'm 53k down from the high but still up this is torture but I won't sell a single share we've been here a few times now lol
Are we ever gonna see a blue day here! My patience is wearing very thin! What I won’t do is sell up. I’ve seen this rebound now a few times to all time highs. Just annoying being nearly 100k in the red! Come on Argo!
