As much about time as price now I think - maybe they've got a couple of weeks, maybe they haven't ...
Lift-off @ >150p according to my chart:
https://twitter.com/bonker_99/status/1449430675258548226
Threshold for shorters to close their position, any guess? If we go beyond, SP will jump
I've doubled my holding from a 113p average to a 119p average - crazy that I could still buy at 125p this morning.
That would mean a mere $9T increase in market cap this time though, might be a bit of a stretch!
A note on that weekly close/RSI level on BTC where it 8x bagged from $2.6k to $2k in a five-month drive:
Doing that again would put BTC @ c$500k which would make Argo's current BTC HODL worth around a billion Dollars - around 50% higher than the current mcap.
Food for thought - hold onto these shares ...
Oooooh so close to waving goodbye to Melissa101 for good!
Can't buy any on Halifax ... 120-125

“ I did say last week only once we reach ATH will we see any sustained uplift in SP.”
No, you didn’t. What you posted about this “POS” as you call it was the following l
“ £2 you wish. Can't even go up a pence at this rate. We'll see £2 if btc hits $100k.
That’s on top of “Please 125, So I can sell this POS at breakeven.“
Well, today’s your big chance.
So, that BTC all-time high weekly close last night sure looks good.
FWIW - the weekly RSI is at the same level now as it was when BTC 8x bagged from $2.6k to $20k would you believe so who knows what happens next with the ETF kicking off this week.
Still holding at $62.3k right now.
If we had ridden this BTC wave and tracked BTC more closely over the last couple of weeks then we would be at £2 now, we are on the move but I’m hoping for a steady rise and £2 by end of next week.
Oh apologies,
I thought all your other posts were meant sarcastically & that one was just stating the obvious
I was being sarcastic, clearly! Before that I did say we need to reach ATH first.
To be precise , you said on friday...
"If ATH is broken we may see a rise of five pence before it inevitably goes down again."
Not quite the same thing at all !
Great, maybe just maybe we'll get a move on now.
I did say last week only once we reach ATH will we see any sustained uplift in SP.
Bitcoin all-time high weekly close secured.

Not there yet - as I said earlier I have a reasonable expectation that it would cool-off to mid $50ks this week and that may still be the case but it's interesting at least :)
ATH daily close is $63,588.
As likely as not it'll be stepped on which is fine - no problem for me to see it go sideways-down from here - it's all constructive now IMO, up or down.
Locking in $60k support would be something of course but it's not my expectation that it will do that right now :)

Music to my ear salute
Well that just caught my attention - BTC just broke out of a Bull Flag on the hourly hinting at an ATH weekly close @ >$60k and, perhaps, an ATH print @ c$67k.
There's a big Apple event tomorrow, with "exciting announcements"! Hopefully the announcement that they've hoovered up $2bn of BTC and are launching an Apple Exchange and wallet app for iPhone.
Just dreaming....
I'm hoping to see the share price pushing on from Friday and would be happy if it settles in the 130s. From there it really depends on what bitcoin does next - if it kicks on and pushes past the ATH then there is a real chance for the sort of FOMO we saw in February and I wouldn't rule anything out share price-wise in the short term.
Bonker: thank you, appreciate your chart work. It made me a decent chunk on IRR many moons ago.
@skymonkey
And then there's this for emerging growth companies which is based around initial earnings released.
It goes from a simple 40 days into 25 for some and potentially less based on conditions. At that point I just kinda thought.. Oh well I'll see what tomorrow brings.
that the Jumpstart Our Business Startups (JOBS) Act created the category of emerging growth companies (EGCs) and the quiet period rules that apply to them. The JOBS Act did away with research period quiet periods for EGCs, allowing research analysts to publish reports after the initial earnings release even if it falls within 25 days of the IPO. The Act defines EGCs as companies with less than $1 billion in revenue in their most recent fiscal year.1
@Skymonkey
I saw the sec stating the 2nd Nov but I've also seen other things saying the 18th Oct.
I think we have quiet and not so quiet levels..
The quiet period begins when the registration statement is made effective and lasts for 40 days after the stock begins trading and is for analysts employed by the offering's managing underwriters and 25 days for analysts employed by other underwriters participating in the IPO
And re the quiet time. The following available on Nasdaq.
Argo Blockchain Plc (ARBK) IPO - NASDAQ.com
Shares Outstanding, 45,683,234. Lockup Period (days), 180. Lockup Expiration, 03/22/2022. Quiet Period Expiration, 11/02/2021. CIK, 0001841675.
Quiet Period Expiration: 11/02/2021
Lockup Period (days): 180
Share Price: $15.00
Shares Offered: 7500000
Quiet period ends Tuesday 2 November. Not before according to Nasdaq.

£2? Sorry but you're deluded if you think this will be £2 tomorrow and even more deluded if you think it'll be more tomorrow. Either that or you're aiming to trick others into thinking so...
We still have two more weeks of quiet time to go through and as others have said volume needs to pick up.
Bitcoin has gained but the Arb SP has not and we are still 40p down from pre IPO.
Let's be sensible here and realistic. If we get to £1.30 that would be good. £2 potentially November.
