I've just got back to the screen to have a look.. Not bad so far but pleaseeee nooooo not the 130-140 teading band again.. It makes me click happy thinking I'm the wolf of Wall Street. Haha
HH - Get what you're saying but I feel 1.33 was underpriced to start with and why would all the rise since (and more) be wiped out just because the pricing was lower than expected? No matter, seems I did call it right - for once :)
NASDAQX finished post close auction? 1.91% up at 124p. Today's London pre-mandatory bid 125p. So closely aligned. Now ARB is listed on a massive market fond of crypto and miners. I see this as an excellent base for a three year old business with superb fundamentals second to none. This afternoon will be fascinating, IMHO.
TheBuyer: "Canetoad. Ok then please share your analysis since you predict so precisely…… If it’s there then share otherwise stop influencing please ….."
Regarding my 'prediction' last night:
"From what I now see, ARBK has closed at $16.87, i.e. $1.687 for each ARB share, which is ~123p. Unless something very strange happens, I would expect us to open around that price, i.e. about 18% below the London close. That could change, depending on what happens in the auction period."
My 'prediction' is almost exactly in line with what Frankfurt is trading at. I was just stating facts. Anybody that thinks this was trying to 'influence' people needs to go and learn about the stock market. FYI: It was not a prediction. It's just the US price multiplied by the GBP-USD exchange rate.
If it opens around 120ish then I agree this is a really good price though wouldn't go so far as to say it's the 'last chance at these sort of prices' as there seems to have been a lot of those!
My simple logic is that 120 is a 25% drop since the pricing was announced. Why? Have the fundamentals really got that much worse, was the stock that overpriced? Yes, there is a dilution impact from the disappointingly large discount but that is less than 10%.
I feel it is a bit of the 'tail wagging the dog' at the moment. NASDAQ didn't open yesterday at the LSE closing price but at the offer price of $15 so this 'artificial price' was the base for trading. When the market opens I feel there is a reasonable chance this will reverse and we'll quickly get back to the sort of LSE levels seen yesterday. If not then I'll be buying as however badly the IPO has been priced/handled the company is now on NASDAQ and is financially much stronger so a 25% drop would seem well overdone.
Cannot recommend Patrick Boyle enough for a daily commentary this week re. Evergrande. (Banker/ university professor). After him check out Tom Nash the analayst.

Up to £1.27 in Frankfurt. That is pretty much the bottom, IMO. Should see a steady nice gain from there.
If it opens down think of it as the last chance to get in at a really great price!! Then HODL. Its not rocket science!!
Its relating downwards, how would people be selling for profits ?
@kitty
"Expect a lot of profit taking sells on open as it re rates to US"
Im pretty sure there won't be chance for that, it will open at 1.20ish, it won't sell down from where we are now. It will start from where the US left off
Indeed, stock should carry a health warning today but the lower it goes the better for adding.
Seems Evergrande will implode within the 30 grace period, maybe as early as next week in the fickle markets or maybe not at all.

Ok then please share your analysis since you predict so precisely……
If it’s there then share otherwise stop influencing please …..
I managed to get some for the equivalent of 1.19 so happy with that shame I did not have the spare cash to hoover some more up.
Still helps bring my average down
@Thebuyer: "Well I personally think there is a hidden message there …. I am not having that …. Sorry"
You commenting on my message? There's no hidden message.

If the BTC Gods are smiling on us, maybe that drop will be erased quickly. Either way, I think the value of the IPO is undeniable and the extra money is going to benefit us massively.
Good luck!

"As it stands now Argo will open @ £1.19 tomorrow. You must be really enthralled and excited."
"So we are just temporarily down 5% in the first 30 minutes of trading"
From what I see, ARB will open at ~125p on Friday, which implies a 15% drop. Maybe UK investors will pump this up a bit or maybe the MM's will feel sorry for all the loyal LTHs in the UK! That's just my opinion as an 'idiot' trader who reduced his position last night, added at 10% lower today and who plans to add significantly if the opportunity arises tomorrow!
BTC is looking good at the moment, so maybe we'll do well tomorrow.
Good luck everybody!

Don't forget, I am 100% invested.. Every spare £1 I've got and my whole SIPP is in this. "
I seriously hope you're joking.
Hears hoping its super red tmrw on opening. ..
Another amazing chance to average up, down or great entry point.
LTH happy and LTH Traders happy.
Soon be heading up next week as others have said
It costs money to get from the championship to the premier league…but now we are there the sky’s the limit!
Good luck.

Its painful, no one likes losing money but that's the game we play.
Just a few weeks ago we were at 135p we quickly moved to 165p on a bit of over enthusiasm.
We can get back to the the Pre ipo share price in a day (+20%). When Argo moves, it moves quick, I reckon this time next week we will be happy again.
Don't forget, I am 100% invested.. Every spare £1 I've got and my whole SIPP is in this.
I'd love for it to of gone up and put me into retirement but on the same note I'm not that fussed, 1 - 2 weeks a RNS or two and I think we will be sitting pretty.
I am still excited. NASDAQ is showing those who care to see enormous volume. Over two hours yet to trade and bitty chasing $45k is also quite pleasant. The sour grapes and ignorance here today has been gross and stupid. Why bother to have invested if you can't see the wood for the effing tree? Just sell up and leave it to others to suffer for you to then gloat. Fudder muckers. Get it?
We can but hope. What a great entry point.
All those having the title requirement, borrowed to cash in after 1hr and 20 mins on NASDAQ now sobbing into their beer. FFS, $1.33 up, 8.87% before my eyes. Plus bitty helping out too! Nearly 7 million traded, isn't that circa 51 million of UK shares? In 95 minutes. Breath taking. Look at it, you moaning fools and just go away. I'm enthralled and still so excited to be here. PW seems to have known when bitty was about to move, too!
