Glad you got out San - Hopefully with a nice profit, Really feel for those that have bought at the top as they will be holding them bags for an eternity now. You only had to glance at the names to swerve it, reason I was trying to warn people just seen now red - I know it’s all part of the game but it Sickens me in all honesty.
Sliced that at 29.8, but the broker held me on the phone so long that it dropped from 36p. Anyway, slightly different here as we are in a consolidation period and the company is actually mining bitcoin, as opposed to early start up like VLRM. This share will only get bigger as the company build their BTC holding and forward lean on initiatives like green mining
San
If only hey - SP halved In 2 hours hope you managed to avoid holding the smelly end. Unreal how the same play is carried out time and again.
This is so painful! Guess I have to Shoot and Aim later. Thanks, Jujube!
@Yemaj. I understand, and was myself in red. Saw an opportunity to reduce it. My wife was bugging me since yesterday to buy vlrm, but I contine to believe arb will rise... Her holdings is eyes wateringly bigger and i jumped boat. BTW, by holdings up by 33.5% as we speak. We're obviously keeping a close watch, and will sell as soon it it start falling (beauty of working from home ;-p ).
Obviously, not giving any advise, just sharing my experience.
Yemaj - Nothing against investors, but a BOD & team without the technical fundamentals re: crypto/blockchain alarms me is all.
Pluto on the other hand....
An easy rule of thumb for me is: follow the CEO (knowledgeable, profession, personable), make your choices, live with the consequences.
PW - not a foot wrong from the start in my book, although there will be some naysayers re: timings of announcements. How else can you build a billion pound company in 12 months from ~ÂŁ10m. Smashing job in my opinion.
GLALTH, Arkonite
@Herdie - That I am afraid is not for me to know. I have always said it on this forum, that each person to his/her own and as adults, we are all entitled to make our decisions. Buying Stocks sometimes is a mix of luck and time. We then confuse this with due diligence with hindsight if the risk pays off!
Nice Move @jujube, I am afraid If I sell now I would be in so much red, hence why I am always pained when ARB is in Red.
@Arkonite - And what would you say about one of the founding investors (who we all know) that has a not so good background....
FOMOing in now is crazy, it's predictably going to have a huge pullback.
Sold off 50% of my arb earlier today (abt 1hr ago)and bought vlrm. Nearly 20% up!
I will definitly sell them later and buy back into arb though. Good to see my holdings going up after so long! lol
Exactly, Seems to me they are taking advantage of the current space and making a mint in the process, If someone could point to any fundamentals as a reason to invest I’d take it back - All I’d say is be careful. Good luck to those that are in though, making money is what we are all here for at the end of the day.
@blackxbag. Watched a video via the XRP stockwits link yesterday re. regulatory environment compare and contrast Ethereum to XRP as you recommend Valereum founders. I think I'll pass.
Wouldn't trust Richard Poulden, David Lenigas or the rest of them imo tbh.
Looked overvalued yesterday already with no fundamentals.
NFTs are a sideshow. DeFi and store of value narrative prevail.
Just be cautious for sideways action or a 2013 correction now that NFTs are everywhere.
Yemaj,
What’s the investment case for VLRM apart from them jumping on the blockchain bandwagon they seem to me to be a re branded business that’s never amounted to much - I could have missed the point completely so I’m intrigued to find out what I’m missing ? Looks like some people are doing very well out of it and fair play to them but have a feeling that some of those involved have run these sorts of races previously - And they didn’t end well for the PIs.
If only some of the Heavy Rampers here would be so honest and tell us that they have not dipped in more than a Toe into Valerium while we are all waiting for the Yanks to push this higher....
