Thanks bobblicious. How many did you manage to get ? I tried to buy amounts at £10k, £5k, £3k and £2k using 3 different cards - it kept saying ‘payment error - please try again.’ Then I ran out of time as the subscription closed.
Monkeytom. Would you have preferred them to use the credit facility? I can understand people’s anxieties here. People need to remember this it a quite unique industry. To pay off the credit they’d have to sell off more BTC, every coin sold eats away at the HODL and depreciate the company value.
They could have sold off their 600 coins to fund it, but year end they could be worth 2 or even 3 times more, so it would be terrible business. Bear in mind, these are experts in crypto, so will have more inside knowledge of the market and where it’s heading.
The more the value of the company grows, the less dilution is needed to raise capital. Early January they would have had to release 4x as many shares to raise the same amount of cash. All is good if you trust what they are doing.
HODL!
Monkeytom, let's see what the RNS says. We'll have a clear picture then. It is "first come first served" in the mining world now with machines and equipment. Argo need to move fast and are keeping ahead of the competition. I'm pleased to see that they are taking such an aggressive approach. Just keeping the 25% stake in Pluto will significantly increase Argo's value and in turn benefit us. Now Argo can start building the Texas facility immediately and we'll see our investments grow exponentially. Argo have to push hard to excel and that is exactly what they are doing. I'm even more excited about the company than I was yesterday because I can see the aggressive strategy they are employing. It's gonna benefit us greatly in the end.
I had the same problem Brazil. Thought it was because I work offshore at first and our work VPN was having an affect on the payment. In the end I managed to actually get some by reducing the amount of shares I wanted.
Lolades, I agree with you and I am probably overthinking about this. But they need to convince me a bit more that their expansion plans are met by funding and not dilution of shares/SP. When will the 100m credit be available? Is this enough for Texas? Probably a good thing that I am questioning these now rather than just having blind faith in PW, which I was guilty of after being lucky enough to come across this company.
Couldn’t buy anything through the Primary bid app yesterday. Spent an hour trying. It kept saying ‘payment error - please try again.’ Tried 3 different cards and all different amounts of shares. Anyone else have the same issue ? Trying to establish if there’s a problem with the app or if it’s my side.
Monkeytom. The detailed RNS will explain where the funding is going. I don't have a doubt about the company. They've made a lot of us plenty of money and will make more people here a lot as well. They need to expand as fast as possible. Now Argo can move quicker and enrich both us and them more than previously possible. It's win-win scenario and the placement happened just as the bitcoin rally has kicked off again. Couldn't be better.
People don’t like doubt. For the first time I find myself having doubts about the company. They have a lot of capital spend coming up, is the SP going to be diluted into? PW always been transparent up to now. I know that this is a very fluid, fast moving space but need more meat on bones about future funding. Will probably give them the benefit of doubt for the time being though.
Wow well done to anyone that grabbed some in the placing
Btc flying and we are tied to that could open at £3 today
£3 plus
Glad I went with Primary Bid yesterday. This is the exact scenario I said yesterday was likely to happen why I didn't want to risk buying on the market. The bull run has fully kicked off again. We'll get a detailed RNS today and then off we go! Looks like we have a big week coming that will push us over £3 and above. You have to be mad to sell anything now.
Maybe they knew what was coming? Hence the rush. There's plenty of whales envolved in btc now!
BTC just touched $54k, hoping for $60k by mid March!
This will soften the blow of the fundraising and hopefully get us back above 300p in no time!
