Homerun, I think lots of us share your sentiment. My boss refers to my "Argo Mates"
50 +/- a couple.
Argo was my first crypto share, and by far my biggest and most successful one. I love the chat here too, very informative and perfect read while having my first cappo of the day, and my last Vodka tonic in the evening :-)
Feels like family...a slightly dysfunctional one...
The Economist,
That’s pretty good going - Fair play to you,
Yep defo interested in the local aspect - Based in Spelthorne so if you are close by will defo be something I’d look to help with - Hoping to call it a day later part of the year.
38 but feel about 90 ??
60 - Retired 5 yrs and enjoying life. hoping to add icing on the cake
Herdie: Good call, I am looking to do something most likely in a country that needs support. Not sure which one at the moment. Currently I have set up a local food bank to help those who have been furloughed, made unemployed, reduced hours etc ... due to lock down. Also, just provided over 250 cooked family meals during the half term break. We did 450 cooked meals over the Xmas period. If I can retire early then I can take these projects further. Keep in touch - thanks.
55 - Still Working / Lurking.
Hoping ARB will bring retirement a few years closer.
37 here but feels like 77 - yes I have two kids!!
Thats brilliant KathB
55 and just handed in my early retirement notice thanks to 3 yrs investing in crypto and throwing a goodly chunk of my ISA at ARB, MARA and RIOT. Still not quite computing with me - dream come true
52 and looking for an Argo fuelled retirement, and of course with the help of my other golden ticket 4d pharma - Nasdaq list in a couple of weeks , always DYOR !
On paper 41 but already getting a few grey hairs on the ARB rollercoaster ha ha . Long term holder - Not worried as I can always buy hair dye and botox those stress wrinkles out later with ARB profits ;)
Fingers crossed for you Longshot. What a way to celebrate a milestone birthday.
So many great stories on here, very inspiring and uplifting. A welcome break from the s**tstorm of 20/21.
29 although 30 next 14th March , hoping Bitcoin surges that weekend
287, in dog years.
I love this share, but this board, stocktwits, Bitcoin , Twitter etc has taken over my life.
It's like waiting in a very long line to cash a lottery ticket, whilst keeping an eye out for pickpockets and enjoying the ongoing complimentary refreshments and entertainment ??
Thanks L-B - have to say that this share and this message board (warts and all) has made my 2020 and 2021.
To think in december had no idea there was such a thing as crypto mining
45 and favourite game....whack a troll.
47 here. But like RC, in my head I reckon I'm still in my 30's.
Only got 8300 shares here so I'm just hoping this and KR1 will replenish the coffers after I flatten 6 figures on house extension and renovations starting in 2 weeks time!
62
Mid to late 30's, but had a tough paper round so far lol.
32, took this up too entertain me / hopefully set up better financially in the future while I wait to get back to work after lockdown..little one on the way so hoping Argo Will keep going strong to help out
I am trading from my mothers womb, wifi comes through pretty well.
I'm three, amazing really.
19 year old here, spend more time on this board than I do studying :)
Herdie sounds familiar. I have kind of thrown myself into this a bit the past couple of months in lieu of work (and as it's worth more on paper than all my previous jobs combined so far haha)... I tried to explain what I was doing, the charts, the message boards, here and the US, the social media... lost her after about 2 minutes. Now I just sent her the occasional meme (like the guy on his side in bed thinking about bitcoin while his wife thinks he's having an affair, etc)...
Hopefully one day I'll just tell her I sold some and that we'd better pack for the airport.... :)
