As for Riot, Mara etc I assume the relatively large falls vis a vis Argo is nasdaq related?
I'm not exactly sure what you mean Tiger? I didn't mention an exit price of £2?
The way I see it there's the potential for a bear market to hit suddenly and for those holding to be locked in here until the next recovery. At £1 or below it's the sort of price I'm willing to buy in at and hold through the tough times if they were to come... I would still feel the wait for brighter times would be more than worth it.
Not banking on that sort of fall this week though, every chance BTC makes a recovery.
Tiger "Trust me when I say gdr will suppress 50 p tomorrow’s or you won’t hear from me again". So we can't trust you?
Harcriss , hope al is well .. so do you see a re entry £1 a good bet for arb to reach £2 .... seriously ... that wont happen 2nd Q next year
Between just October 2020 and February 2021 the share price rose over 50X - that extreme a rise won't happen again but a 10 or 15X is very possible if we see the sort of cycles bitcoin has previously seen.
As it happens I don't think we will though, you've got a national government 'btfd' for example, a proper bitcoin meltdown will have implications well beyond what it ever has in the past. More likely we'll see other high net worth individuals doing a Saylor and together we could see a large proportion of the bitcoin supply being taken off grid.
Still, I'm looking for a reentry around a £1 (if bitcoin doesn't recover) and from there would be extremely confident of making good returns in time.
Hee heee. Yes. But it was good to trade. And still might yet be ;-)
QBT just makes me want to roll my eyes in exasperation! I suspect you agree.
Yeah! Compare that to QBT
BOD = board of directors (I think "have a look at the bod" was in response to my comment about GST looking interesting.)
Easy 10p on the rns.
GST Gstechnologies big things coming, been in it about 3 months.
? GST. Are we looking at the same ticker?
@splatted: By 'BOD' - you mean the Australian cannabis stock? Looks ****ty, but WTF do I know...
For your shorts, I'd consider via put options; not sure I'd have the stomach to do it directly.
Cane. Whatever is moving. I do pretty well on oil, i short cannabis stocks alot ( they refuse to make money) the tech index (i play 20:1 so you have to get it right) but always money you are happy to loose!
Have a look at the bod. Says it all. Its my next arb
@splatted: Would be interest to hear about some of the other assets you trade.
@HopeGreedNothing: "Canetoad - how low do you think it could go, any opinions on the 30k level?"
I think we're likely to see a decent bounce quite soon, but whether or not that's the bottom, it's impossible to say... I can't see any bounce coming for miners, unless we're in a very clear BTC uptrend.
If Nasdaq was to experience a significant drop, I can't see $30k holding for BTC.
Yes GST does look interesting, been keeping an eye on it for a while but not bought any yet.
Yep. I am thinking of selling some of my original 1 million pot. Arb is a good investment now but gst is the next arb
After the sp has done near to didly swat the last few months anyway, I'm actually thinking it might be a good thing and might break my promise to myself & buy somemore and maybe some other miners too.
Low 90s. Crimbo came early.
next stop low 90's on the share price? if no up trajectory in btc.
It made me 40k trading oil on the bounce the day after the last covid scare. I had to wait for a day and a half which was annoying but ….
"I am going 10:1 leverage on the safe ones."
Well, you're a lot braver than me. What's "safe"? I never, ever use leverage with crypto (or anything else for that matter!)
Only play with what you are happy to lose!
