The Japanese name combined with the investment is Argo shows great courage and wisdom.
Despite! Not sespite ....bows down in politeness and asks for forgiveness.
Sadly I am no mr miyagi, I'm just a guy with a limited ability to produce a better name.
I think a US listing would be best for this also certainly from an investor support and interest perspective, sespite the geographical connection to Canada.
Fukurokuju - Some people have spoken to Peter about a foreign listing and it is on the agenda. They are wary of listing in Canada given the potential bankruptcy of HUT8 and BITF.
I advocate only for a US listing.
Fukurokuju - Thank You. I know the men of Japan know much about honour. We truly are the best kind here on the Argo board and our cause is noble.
If the market cap of a company was around 17.5 million pounds sterling and it was generating over 1 million a month. Would you buy the company ?
I think I would buy if I had the money as it would have a great potential.
Lol billfunk......' And as good honourable men it falls on us to fight these evils whenever they occur. For the sake of Argo, Capitalism and freedom'
Made me chuckle.
However I tend to agree with all here we should be higher for sure. Have the company spoken to about dual listing?
Gla
And that's a guy who knew nothing about Argo before I accosted him on the Riot feed.
Here we are guys. I goaded this guy into telling me the difference between RIOT and ARGO:
RScubed

@BitcoinMoonBoy its not spinning in circles. Why can't ARGO Just list on NASDAQ or NYSE. That should solve it.
RScubed
2m
@BitcoinMoonBoy its the exchange.
I'm not angry at Peter at all. I just despise the London market and many of its inhabitants, most of this board excepted.
People talking about landlordism - scum.
People talking about 10p target for Argo - scum
People claiming 2 bags as great successes - scum
People talking about growth companies paying dividends - scum
I am happy that in this pure and noble corner of the market most people don't suffer from any of these cardinal sins. But even here, among the brave and heroic Argo investors, we still occasionally see these evils rear their ugly heads. And as good honourable men it falls on us to fight these evils whenever they occur. For the sake of Argo, Capitalism and freedom.
Yes TheeDuke. Well done Mr Wall but it's no good doing it for London. They just don't appreciate it.
Yes Krautyankee I agree but I'm doing it more to highlight the fact to the minority of luddites on this board that we need to be listed in America. I know many people have followed me into Riot after I ramped it on here. Those people now know the extreme speculative energy currently present in the US for micro blockchain companies. It is therefore imperative that our BOD get us over there ASAP.
Nothing could be more important. I don't know how to make it clearer for the hard of thinking. The only difference between us and RIOT and MARA is that we are significantly bigger and better! Yet we languish and large shareholders here continue to acquiesce to BOD passivity.
Get us over there now. Get some publicity. Ramp the **** out of this piglet and let it fly. Fcuk London.
Bill - not a bad idea, but probably to no avail; for the most part, yanks will not invest in companies listed in London. I do not know if the electronic trading platforms (e-trade) allow them to. Of course, smart money (MM) buy worldwide, 24/7; but the basic PI is not too sophisticated. Also tax rules and the exchange rate, etc., create a barrier. I would think that Canadians would definitely be interested; Hell, ARGO may be based in the UK legally, and listed there, but all assets and operations are in Canada, as far as I know. ARGO's low market cap makes it appear to be a very small fish; but the accounts tell a different story. The only scenario that I can imagine is another company buying us. All of our competitors certainly know what we should/could be worth. IMO we will be bought out this year. DYOR.
I have been spamming the RIOT and MARA posters with the question "Would you ever consider investing in a British blockchain company listed in London?"
Mostly non responses. One guy said "probably not with good ones in the u s/ canada"
Another guy "have you seen MARA!"
Another guy admitted to MARA being almost a completely speculative play.
Another: "Why don't you just buy Riot and Mara?"
I have name dropped Argo to these guys but I very much doubt they will be interested. London is one huge vicious positive feedback loop. Full of w.ankers who sell 10% rises and low on speculation. This drives the market down and lowers sentiment which depresses the market further. And all the while the proper speculators with good capital won't touch it with a bargepole, however polite they may be to me online.
Thanks Bill, a robust inventory will be a big selling point.
Sorry. 76 BTC and BTC-e.
73 as of today's monthly update. Once we have paid off the excellent ZEC machines we should hodl for a few months in preparation for a US listing.
I should know this but how many btc is ARB holding?
I think Peter said USA listing may not be good for the company as he expects other miners to go out of business. I’m not sure I agree with his thinking. ARB has a lot of potential but this is the prime time for it to be noticed.
I can't get on twitter unfortunately. They have a hard block on my whole digital identity. It is good proof, if I ever need any, of my inherent virtue.
Just been asking people on the MARA board about their holdings. A bit of anger there as they don't hold any. They have just started mining with around 50PH currently with new machines bringing that up to 250PH in a few months. Their MCAP in the US = $60m. Up 35% on the day.
That's what we are missing guys. If Argo was in America we would be $200m within a week.
Nice bullish engulfing on the daily
Great Work Billfunk, it’s great to see someone thinking outside the Box. Keep it up, we really need as much PR as we can get. It is something I have said for a long time. What you are doing will help get us noticed. Good Job and well done!
Cheers, I’ve got some out of the money calls jan 21 and jan 22 in riot, if bitcoin does anything close to what I expect, the leveraged effects will yield an excellent returns but as we know in investing nothing is guaranteed.
One other bit of advice, mention ARB on twitter as much as possible. You will be amazed at how many people will buy...it’s no different than marketing in other industries. I personally bought some eth and xrp after I saw these coins being shilled by people I respect plus the charts had based long enough and I expect btc to ‘carry’ them upwards. Let’s see, will be a fun 12-18months
Just added you mate. I see you have been hammering $RIOT on there. Good job.
I’ve been saying this forever, we need to have a good bitcoin inventory, do the figures on 1000 bitcoin at 100k each
That’s a good idea, I amplified your tweet the other day. I’m brtraders on there
