Re my last message and my suggestion to have a look at Beximco Pharmaceuticals (BXP), does anyone here
own BXP-shares, and if so what is his/her/ their view on BXP? Currently BXP's share price on the Dhaka stock
exchange is rising quite steeply, whereas the BXP's GDR-shares here are yet to catch up. Looks like an opportunity...
APH is going along nicely, but fair value has probably now been reached?
Steady rise
Further to my last message, for anyone who may be interested, the share price at Beximco (BXP) looks
now in serious barain-basement territory. Low price (77p) unlikely to last for long, future simply too
bright there, IMHO.
Meantime, APH's share price is creeping up nicely. Steady as she goes.
Sahre price does not move much one way or the other. Relatively safe long term hold, but not
exciting. I have recently put mony on BXP, also looks relatively safe long term hold, but prospects
rather more exciting, excellent 3rd quater results there today.
Cheers.
Recommended by Share Magazine today as a way to beat the taxman on Inheritance Tax. It is eligible for BPR and to quote their words: "Alliance Pharma is targeting double-digit revenue and profit growth over the next three to five years."
Looks like a steady rise in value - the sort I like. i'm not into all this day trading and watching the ups and downs of AIM companies. This is a hold and forget business, which suits me well. Long may it continue.
Patience has paid off, well done to any others that hung in there
I generally do not like US-acquisitions, often something goes not to plan.
Even when the whole market flies this seems to do nothing.. forgotten about?
Yup been in here a year now , solid but unspectacular..
It's such a frustrating stock has been stuck in a range for ages, every time it looks like rising it falls back down
Further to my previous message, I want to stay that I have looked hard for some time for a safe good value stock with sound future prospects despite the Corona Crisis. I believe APH fits nicely. I bought the other day and I topped up twice since. I reckon a Target Price in the range of 80p to 90p is appropriate here. Give it a while and let's see if I am right. I bought for long term hold.
I would say that the future of APH looks safe, indeed bright. Medicines will be in demand whatever
the economic consequences of Covid-19. Chairman's substantial purchase in June at 77.7p was for a safe place for his money, not to throw money away At 77.7p the shares were relatively cheap, which means at current price 70p very cheap.
Alliance Pharma plc (AIM: APH), the international healthcare group, was notified on 23 June 2020 that on 23 June 2020 David Cook, Chairman of the Company, purchased 63,879 ordinary shares of 1.0p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 77.7 pence per share , and his spouse, Katharine Cook, also purchased 63,879 Ordinary Shares on the same date at 77.7 pence per share.
Following these transactions, David and Katharine Cook's total beneficial interest in the Company is 234,129 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.04% of the Company's issued share capital.
Thanks, still looks a stable company.
Cancelled divi probably held it back a bit
I have heard some good things are coming …...
Just been taking a look at alliance. Anybody have a view to why the sp is low.
Great read, profit, growth, over achievement coupled with markets up 2 days in a row for first time in ages and Europe starting to see the back of corona makes exciting times ahead
This is a well managed, efficient and cash generative business. What is there not to like?
Awesome finally reached my break even price of 80p again, anyone know why the rise today?
CFO sells most of his option shares, not exactly a powerful vote of confidence?
For those that were interested in my previous message on Open Orph (no worries if you're not) ORPH have very recently signed an agreement with Empiric Logic, a leading managed software service company. The Collaboration is the final stage in the completion of their Genomic Health Data platform and will speed up its launch.
Maurice Treacy highlights the significant value of the genomic health database in a presentation just before the announcement. Huge potential upside here. - "When I talked about the 10,000 data records we hope to collect or corral in our database, each one of those per patient is valued roughly, based on these precedents, at about 5000. So the nominal value of that database is about 50 million. That's just assuming a linear access fee. We hope there will be multiple pharma companies looking at this data at the same time."

Director Butterfield sold most of his option shares (see RNS today), does he want to be ahead of any negative news?
Great to to see APH finishing strong after a great month. Open Orphan ORPH doing a good job too - they are on a presenting roadshow at the moment with rises also today.
