This is on my watchlist, may invest if the price goes down further today.
It'll probably bounce around whilst the market tries to price in the uncertainty. But with a Mcap of 270M, a 3% divi and nothing wrong with the products which as you say should be a safe haven, then there is no reason to doubt a recovery. In time... sounds to me like they need to find a new CEO as there are too many issues circling this one. Wouldn't be surprised to find a palace coup d'etat taking place and a new CEO appearing at some point once the incumbent's 'personal reasons' have resolved themselves.
Agree, not great news. My hope, no doubt misguided, is that most of this is already priced in. After all the share price has already halved for what should be a 'safe' haven in turbulent times.
Not good news there... not so much a pair of Turtle Doves but a pair of Ravens! Personal reasons? Could be anything... a prelude to leaving? who knows. And earnings going to be flat on 170m compared to previous years. Likely drop big on the open but for brave souls with cash ready this could be a good long term buying moment.
Does anyone here own Beximco Pharmaceutical shares (BXP), the shares have gone down to a silly
low level, trading now at about half the price of the same shares in the Dhaka Srock Exchange, the
only difference being that the share here have no voting rights, but Dividend (3.5p this year)
the same. Worth a look I would say. IMHO.
I'm glad it wasn't bad news, if good news drops the sp over 9%.
Loosing the case the appeal count is not only possible, but is likely OMHO.
APH specializes in niche medicines, therefore it is unusual for APH to sell a niche medicine
to a third party, why....?
Wish these cases would be wrapped up quicker got to wait another year for the appeal by the sounds of it
Looks to me that the accountants were not hapy at the fine of almost £10m being excluded from the
financial year, whether subject to appeal or not. IMHO, there should have been a provisional loss figure
in the books, as losing the case is a possibility.
BXP worth another look excellent value at today's price. 90p, IMHO..
APH is for me a bit under a cloud, as we do not know the outcome of the ongoing dispute over the large fine.
APH specializes in niche medicines, yet parts with a nich medicine to an operator who bumps up the price of that medicine
manyfold... Was APH unaware of the mal-intent of the operator?
Winnings 1, Rylander. Its the CMA who investigate and they are also the ones that make to decision regards culpability. When it goes to the Appeal Tribunal that is made up of legal representatives i.e. Law Judges and Business experts. If what APH are saying is the truth I would find it very unusual for them to be found to be in the wrong.
Ezhik, the truth will be it's our dividends will pay the fine, not those who apparently broke the law.
No smoke without a fire....?
Surely the Investigators are not entirely stupid? APH defence surely would have been accepted if believable and correct?
These *****s that manipulate markets and rip off NHS in this way through corruption should not be fined via penalising the company. The directors and anyone personally profiting should have all of their assets stripped. Home, investments, cars, cash, pension pot, and all direct current family members banned from being a director of any other company ever. :) Penalising the company only hurts investors and employees, fkin nonsense
Re my previous message, BXP Results (H-1 ) out today, just excellent!
I like APH for a long term hold, quite steady and quite safe, IMHO.
P.S. To my friends here, have a look at Beximco Pharmaceuticals (BXP), right now making a generic version of the
Pfizer Covid19 pil, which reduces the chance of developing serious illness by 90%. I rather like that! Pfizwer charges in excess of $500 for a single course.
Pharmaceuticals are generally on strong PE-ratios, but for a unwarranted low PE-Ratio look up Bexmco Pharmaceuticals (BXP), where the share price is a mismatch to the Company's strength and growth, IMO.
Underlying EPS for H1 this year 3p, full year likely to reach 7p (results just out) ,. So PE- ratio not high, but distorted
last year due to Covid-impact. H1 Results are strong, IMO. I managed to buy first thing this morning during unwarranted
dip at 103p.
Seems huge? 70+
Stomo12 - Good on you! I share your view/s on dividends for both stocks. I trust you appreciate the fact that the GDR shares of BXP are entitled tp precisely the same dividends as the ordinary shares of BXP, thus at current low price the GDR shares deliver double the dividend of the ordinary shares - rather nice that one. I daresay the price-gap will narrow.
I hold both APH & BXP. I'm looking at them both for LTH dividends. My own feeling is that the differential in pricing will continue so I don't expect some sudden explosion in BXP SP here. Will possibly add from time to time, just for the continuing dividend. Just a bonus if it does rise, but then less likely to be an add if it goes too high!
Re my last message and my suggestion to have a look at Beximco Pharmaceuticals (BXP), does anyone here
own BXP-shares, and if so what is his/her/ their view on BXP? Currently BXP's share price on the Dhaka stock
exchange is rising quite steeply, whereas the BXP's GDR-shares here are yet to catch up. Looks like an opportunity...
APH is going along nicely, but fair value has probably now been reached?
Steady rise
Further to my last message, for anyone who may be interested, the share price at Beximco (BXP) looks
now in serious barain-basement territory. Low price (77p) unlikely to last for long, future simply too
bright there, IMHO.
Meantime, APH's share price is creeping up nicely. Steady as she goes.
