Thanks omir, so far so good. Hopefully head back up to the 100p mark again.
Drop a few pence then quickly recover
Any ideas what will happen with this share when it opens tomorrow?
Won't the dilution cause a price drop to 91p?
Proposed Equity Placing to raise £34.0 million Alliance Pharma plc (AIM: APH), the specialty pharmaceutical company, is pleased to announce that it has agreed to acquire exclusive marketing rights to Nizoral, a medical, anti-dandruff shampoo brand, in Asia-Pacific ("APAC") (the "Nizoral Rights") from Janssen Pharmaceutica NV (a member of the Johnson & Johnson group of companies) (the "Vendor") for a total consideration of £60.0 million (the "Acquisition"). The Acquisition, which will boost Alliance's successful and rapidly growing APAC distributor business, is expected to generate material earnings enhancement in the first full year of ownership.
With this approval which could be worth North of 15p to the SP , this stock to me is a keeper and I suspected NT would hold but surprised and pleased he has topped up again
Looks like he's riding the wave Bazzaman...so am I, lovely share this one. GLA
I've added more Alliance Pharma (APH). Now one of my biggest holdings I have now nearly doubled on it but I think there is more to come with hopefully the end game a takeover at 150 plus. It got a major boost a few days ago saying one of its major drugs Diclectin got a positive opinion and regulatory application is now approvable. This has now helped push the share price to the 100p area. It's always hard to get through a whole number but once through, 110p hoves into view.
Been a good investment this share.. Kicking myself I didn't buy more. But happy with this so far. Am surprised there's not more people buying into this. Yes let's see what the naked trader does next.. Good luck all.
With price now through 100p will be interesting to read the next Naked Trader update on 14th June to see whether he has taken any profits and riding the wave through to his take out price of 150p. GLA
Been trying shares for a year and saw the naked trader had bought into this so as a beginner I've took the risk and followed him. Not after big profits just to get something positive back. So far so good. Question is do I dare hold on for longer. Knowing greed is the way to lose.. See I've read his book! Ha. Either way. Thanks to the man. Its been a good way to study and learn.
Yes, Seems to be steadily climbing. Been a good two days. Still holding on. Very pleased with this share so far.
Climbing nice & slow. GLA
Good rise today, been trying to get past that 81 mark for a while. good luck all.
At last this Pharma has attracted market attention with lots of buys today. This is a solid well run company, cash generative from some highly respected products. The Sinclair acquisition is a great add on. Been in here for 18 months and doing well.
I've been in Alliance Pharma (APH) for some time. It's one of those shares no-one notices, it just very gradually rise a half pee there a penny here. All the little rises gives me profits for the website now of nearly 20,000 and a lot more personally. The big money I've made has been mostly patience to hold on to good ones, sometimes for years and keep adding as they go up. Anyhow I bought another lot! Recent results looked good. Its net debt, though high is within my perameters and is coming down despite 16m spent on acquisitions. Profit is up 28pc and dividend 10pc. Good performances from its brands and the Sinclair products have integrated well. It expects to keep growing organically and with more acquisitions. Looks well-run. Downside? Well it is a drugs company which always adds risk. I would like the end of the story to be a continued slow rise to a quid then someone to take it out at 150p. That's my plan!
How did it go?
You are warmly invited to attend Proactive Investors' One2One Healthcare Forum which is taking place on Thursday 5th April at The Chesterfield Mayfair Hotel from 6pm. Presenting on the evening will be Alliance Pharma (LON:APH), ANGLE (LON:AGL), Avacta (LON:AVCT), Faron Pharmaceuticals (LON:FARN) & Clinigen (LON:CLIN).
It quickly recovered but between 10:20 and 10:30 something went on. I like this company so hang on in there.
It appears that someone in the market managed to cause a sharp drop, was this a fat finger blunder or a plan to catch some shareholders who had an automatic sell and allow some trader to vacuum them up?.
I don't trust Motley Fool at all. When I read their articles it almost feels like the reporting is just mere speculation. I'm holding too.
Motley Fool says ... But my assessment of Alliance Pharmas track record suggests that the firm has found a successful formula and hasnt tried to diversify too much Broker forecasts suggest earnings per share growth of 13% in 2018. A forward dividend yield of 2.1% should be covered three times by earnings, suggesting plenty of scope for dividend growth. The shares trade on a forecast P/E of 14.9 for 2018, with a PEG ratio of 1.3. I believe attractive gains should be possible from current levels. I continue to hold the shares.
Elsewhere the market seemed happy with Alliance Pharmas (LON:APH) statement today, very big profits building here and for now happy to remain holding.
Interested to see if we get a mention in his update due out later today...
I see he seems to like this share! He's targeting 70p.
