Cheers cherry. But I agree with you that our first go at a buyback has been a bit of a shambles as far as the sequence of purchases has gone and why such a low amount yesterday. Perhaps they are waiting to get in the pound shop but theres not long left
Albus....you are correct on that and we hope that APF can issue these treasury shares at more than say £1.20 for a reasonable return.
Cherry - the RNS says the buyback shares are to be held in Treasury - so they are not cancelled
The shares are cancelled on a buyback so not owned by the Company. In effect JT is saying I cannot find any decent royalty deals so will spend circa £5 million on this little exercise instead. Does provide a buying opportunity though , I admit.
Theres plenty of other companies doing share buybacks at this moment in time. If the BOD believe the sp is going to spring back to the levels they have invested in themselves its not a bad idea and they have a better feel of it than us and so it is logical as Spock would say that us sheep could believe its an OK decision
Only another 1 million or so buys to complere this ill advised share buyback scheme. Always OK to do this in a rising market but not so clever in a falling market. There has to be a lot of low hanging fruit around for JT to negotiate and I will be talking to a few other royalty companies during the next month or so on 121 forums.
I believe both will be supportive. Trump is keen to ensure the US has supply that isn't reliant on the Chinese and Russians in particular.
Biden has made the green energy revolution a major part of his campaign, so I suspect his administration will be cognisant of the need for nickel/cobalt supply.
I don't think the US election will have much (if any) bearing on Piaui. If anything, I can see things getting fast-tracked.
Hi Cacher .What do you think would be est for our Brazil Project. Briden or Trump. JT liked the US gov sponsorship offer
Happy to pitch in on the air fare!
Plus 500 made a total c--- up their Q3 update this morning by saying something daft about Q4 despite making millions heading for a near record year. Just shows how worried I am about KF saying something negative about Q4 and harming our sp big style. Can we send him to Brazil on a 4 month scouting trip. ?
Some profit taking by punters going on this morning but they wont get back in the pound shop its well and truly shut
