Nice £50k delayed purchase gone through. Any loose shares appear to be being mopped up. Looks like somebody is building a stake pre announcement.
gkb thanks, but I'd not forgotten them. I simply limited myself to economies with the truth that ANGS have stated this calendar year.
I fully agree that all your cited examples - again all from the horse's mouth and quoted verbatim - are equally exactly on point, entirely supporting the view that throughout its entire history ANGS has never once delivered on anything at all, despite repeated estimates and "assurances" to the contrary.
However, if I were to post all examples of where ANGS or its directors have made statements and assurances, or given promises and estimates all of which have turned out to be just plain factually inaccurate, that'd quite literally pretty much consist of every single public statement via any comms vehicle that the company has ever made...
Gali - "For instance he was one of the main cheerleaders of Brockham"
I've answered this multiple times....I believed what was written in the RNS / presentations and Twitter posts which most investors used to make their informed decision on investing in Angus.
Sadly what they told investors wasn't the case....hence the horrible crash in share price. Why did they do the SF placing just before actually completing the Brockham well test in June after seeing the initial results the previous December? Thats always intrigued me.
As for being 'a bully'. Well if I use the actual facts as released by Angus to counter one can only say very optimistic posts on here....thats not bullying...thats a case of you should have done better research.
The Q&A page has been selective since Day 1 with multiple folk including me wondering why their questions will not be posted. I even emailed the Nomad with zero response.
...and Ocelot's back, after manful efforts trying to promote the latest UKOG pump n dump.
It's more than a little amusing that Ocelot levels the criticism that someone's posts are endlessly repetitive spewings of archival material. As we all know, all Ocelot ever does is endlessly repost snippets of ANGS statements that sound superficially positive, but which on even a brief examination are just more substance-free puff, spin and pixie dust and which as a result of course never come to anything at all.
One can only be left with the conclusion that he/she's either on the ANGS payroll or works for Flagstaff, the company's long-suffering PR agency that does its level but futile best to polish the unpolishable.
Alan is a bully. He comes on this board periodically, presumably when he wants to inflate his ego, throws out various comments (usually by reference to events that happened years ago) and as soon as anyone disagrees with him, even to a minor extent, he will berate them until either they backtrack or filter him.
All will then go quiet for a period of months. The cycle then repeats.
Some of the stuff Alan has said is totally on point and in some instances very good advice. Although equally he often gets things very wrong. For instance he was one of the main cheerleaders of Brockham and then went onto cheerlead Red Emperor.
That said, I don't really care much about Alan. What I do care about though is this financing. I have emailed GL, he used to engage with shareholders but he doesn't seem to do so anymore which is concerning. The Q&A also see more selective nowadays. Anyone else found the same?
"He is a well respected poster on Angus"
Well, that certainly gave me a good laugh. Nice one, phil
ocelot - 'archival material' such as Angus RNS that destroy the SP, Slide presentations that she First Gas at SF being May 2020 or perhaps Lucans' video clip where he calls Angus Weald Operations like a "Cowboy Exploration Shop" ......his words
I cant seem to find any positive archival posts video clips to post on here....are you able to?
Opinions seem to be divided about Alan2017, I put him on filter when I realised his posts seemed to contain the same archival material all the time.
RT003 - How’s the cabbage patch of investments coming along? I cant compete with someone who worked with Nick Leeson lol
How can you spud a well in 5-6 weeks without a drilling rig or finances? Takes 10-14 days to mobilise a rig. Is there a rig contract in place? Is there a rig available? Has it had its rig inspection carried out by a 3rd party? You can have that for free.
I liked some of your LSE CV posts:
“I’ll tell you that for 7 months I worked with Nick Leeson before he joined Barings”
“Mullins one can only hope this is Broadford Bridge scenario all over again.............................
Rest assured this time I will sell the lot at 10p lol”
"That would put me at break even with this stock and its certainly not beyond the realms of possibility (some were suggesting 0.4 yesterday lol) but have to say if we get there I'm off lol"
..and of course - as RT003 conveniently omits to say - all the short-term traders infesting this stock that pretend to be long-term holders spend much time and effort frantically trying to talk the SP up whenever it suits their particular buying cycle. As do the fair few company shills on here.
Which is - again of course - why one needs to look at confirmed and verifiable facts and evidence. I would simply ask three things:-
1. Please name one single, tangible and above all, real thing that ANGS has ever achieved, whether under previous boards of directors or the current incumbents, that has delivered any value whatsoever for shareholders in return for the tens of millions of investor funds that the company has spent and continues to spend?
2. In very similar vein, please name one publicly announced assurance or estimate that the company has ever kept to?
3. Finally, please inform what you consider the difference to be between the latest and continually varying pronouncements of the incumbent MD regarding the schedule on raising the very unexpectedly needed £12 million of financing for Poundland?
"...in the coming two to three weeks, with drawdown shortly thereafter" (25th Jan)
"...imminent" (25th Feb)
"...we believe that we are in the final furlong" (15th March)
"...in the near term" (29th March)
Rampers and derampers of course exist - but ignoring them and their agendas, I find that facts tend to speak very clearly for themselves.
RT 003, I suggest you read over Alan 2017's posts over the last 2 or 3 years before you make such comments. He is a well respected poster on Angus, and his well informed frustration is totally justified, and will hopefully help future investors think twice. I have a few quid invested here, more than I should, but would hate to see more people sucked in.
"What possible reason other than a troll would constantly bash a stock that he doesnt hold"
Perhaps a christian concern to stop people buying into the ramping rubbish about this dog?
I'll remind the terminally dimwitted why he does it. Once the SP gets into slightly higher territory the fella does everything in the book to drive it back down to re enter (having sold before) at a lower price
Rinse and repeat. What possible reason other than a troll would constantly bash a stock that he doesnt hold
Once the Offer is back at 0.75 or lower in he goes...theres a guy called Rathole on the sub forums who has just finished a 7 month stretch for deliberate share price manipulation. Exactly the same as the Alan 2017 character does so have contacted LSE last night.
Totally unacceptable...
he is just trying to brake the record for the most posts per month/donkey by name
.......just popped in as Jarvis was showing my investment was in profit on the portfolio
What do I find but that cabbage Alan2017 shouting his deramping off as per usual
Get a life fella
