Nhawan, while it is wise to be wary of nefarious director connections and machinations, l am pretty sure the Angus BoD rejected all the SOU offers. Try re-reading the RNS. Or reading it! Lol.
Relax the disinformation on this message board is the worse I have ever ever seen
These NIMBYS are clearly paid for agitation
Problem is that over 13% of insiders already approved the deal. Just shows how the BoD works with their mates. Why did they not let everyone else know yesterday?? And why is a paltry 1.5p all share offer acceptable when Lucan said SFB was work 4p on its own??
Thanks for the advice Nhawan, will bear it in mind but the bidding only just begun. Too early to sell now.
Nowhere as good as expected. The sp will never rise above 2p by the looks of it. SOU are hardly going to offer more and those holding until deal completion will end up losing imo. Best move is to sell into the spike and get your cash out.
".£16 million, or 1.5p per share. And to be paid entirely in paper. "
Well I posted that the average premium was 30-50%. I thought there'd be some cash involved tho'
Now anyone can come in throwing even more confetti at us - UKOG anyone?
Any one can put offer in at any price...3p we don't have to accept anything.
Let the bidding war commence...3p minimum.
So,,, despite the usual insults from the cheerleaders, the first 3rd party valuation for the entirety of ANGS seems to be just shy of...
...£16 million, or 1.5p per share. And to be paid entirely in paper. So far at least, t seems that those recommending a reality check were nearer the mark, after all.
No shareholder is remotely going to vote yes for 1.4p...period
So you think I was an idiot deramper and then an offer of up to 1.4p in shares equivalent comes in? Seems like I was spot on no?
....and there we go again
Fella do a bit of research as to who is in Leyhill and for what reason
Instead of trolling all day with utterly deliberate manipulative deramping spend a bit of time into where it can lead for anyone
You're on watch.....choice is yours
Isn’t!

What a truly pathetic post. Quite obviously trying to make someone who has far more history and understanding of the company out as a market manipulator and warning of jail time when nothing they post is factual andcan be easily verified . Bottom of the Barrel stuff ……“fella”
When it comes to ‘expressions of interest’ there’s a chance that those of us on this board know more about SFB than ‘interested parties’. Also no one is talking price yet, no doubt they will be looking at either buying the asset or buying the company, whichever gets the SFB the cheapest. Currently the MCAP is supporting the takeover scenario which is unlikely to be greater than 30% premium to the share price at the time. I think the expectation was that the announcement would put a ticket under the share price abc get up to at least 3p in short order which simply hasn’t happened. We are now vulnerable to low ball takeover offers IMO. This needs to get moving, and quickly or we will only get 1.5p.
House analogy, eh? RightMove , Zoopla and the like show the price at which any property was last sold as one of the more useful valuation metrics...
In the house analogy, ANGS are now going to share the mining survey and mundic report. The details of the hedge contract will be of significance to interested parties.
With sky high gas prices (highly likely to continue) and at least 6 interested parties in Saltfleetby / the company, suddenly, almost out of nowhere, Angus finds it has something it hasn't had for several years..........serious bargaining power.
It's the same principle as selling a house...........when you have one interested buyer then you just negotiate the best deal you can and hope the buyer doesn't walk away, but when you have 6 people wanting your home, to some extent you get to call the shots and take control , knowing there is a safety net of 5 other interested parties.
A very simplistic example I know but the RNS this morning really opens up a lot of possibilities. This could get very interesting for shareholders. Very interesting indeed.
l am hoping they do not sell for less than 45 million and that is just s/f ,
the storage base is worth that alone to the government. we have no gas storage in this country at all now they need it what a better place than s/f
Maddog33, spot on. How lucky did Angus get with this gas price increase. Unbelievable luck. Anyone getting in here under 2p is in fir a treat.

" the caverns are MEGA MASSIVE"
i suggest you go away and sign up for a basic geology course - there are NO CAVERNS at Saltfleetby - it's a fine grained sandstone my lad - Checkout t the Geological Society of London Memoir 20 and Tony Hodges paper.
"800,000,000 cubic metres storage "
BV - what in heavens name are you talking about -
Sorry 800,000,000 cubic metres storage spells it out better for you!
Mirasol.Saltfleetby has storage between 700 - 800 cubic metres, is that big enough!
