Knowe (or anyone) will not be forward selling any shares that are not yet admitted to trading.
It is impossible.
Their fund manager, will not even reflect the newly issued shares onto their account until they are confirmed available at the custodian, so a trade cannot possibly raised.
If they do add them to their internal systems (for internal admin purposes to check the account remains in compliance with its mandate), it will be on a dummy identifier which will be 'hard blocked' to prevent an order being instructed in error. Again, the shares will only be moved over to the tradeable stock identifier when the shares are confirmed available at the custodian.
They could be placing orders on their existing position, but, as others have said, a TR1 would be needed for any small trade, so what would be the point, especially for a known long term holder and supporter of ANGS.
Forward selling of placing shares. Another BB myth
The fact remains that the extension is good news for ANGS. It's the very necessary postponement of a debt , since ANGS (and everyone else) knew that it wouldn't have the cash to pay back the £1.4 million in six months time. The only way it could have raised this would have been via a placing - and at current pricing levels including necessary placing discount, that would have been very nastily dilutative.
So, although this 12 month extension has cost ANGS another 8% on top of the already agreed 4% annual interest, with a view to the massive unpleasantness of limited alternative options, it remains the only sensible thing to have done right now, given the company's continuing pre-revenue state.
It's filling in a form that takes 5 minutes - on the other hand they may save something if the Chancellor changes the rules or rates next week.
James/Mirasol, current Knowe holding is 6.26%. The moment they sell 2.5 mil shares they will cross the 6% threshold and they will then need to declare.
Is it really worth bothering about, not just Knowe but anybody, selling 2.5 mil shares? It can easily be absorbed with no impact on the SP.
There is no issue here.
Lots to digest.
Now a tweet of equipment, updated would be most welcome.
Maybe a director buy too.

Mirasol-spot on
I don't think James means they are "forward selling " in the normal meaning - he seems to mean they know they're getting more share sin a couple of weeks so they'r taking the opportunity now to sell from their current holding to raise cash today.
In 2 weeks time they will be back where they started as regards an interest. I suspect they're doing it ahead of the Budget on 27th ... just in case .....
Tr1 is required for every 1% movement (around 10 million shares and NO TR1 is required from K for selling some 3.5 million shares from their existing stock holding.
James, I don’t think that there is any forward selling. A TR-1 will be filed on or after 5th November. I don’t see Knowe doing anything illegal right now because if they forward sell now they will then have to lie on the TR-1 by declaring that they have shares that they forward sold. They have to declare these allocated shares on a TR-1, since they are already above notification threshold, otherwise questions will be asked, I guarantee you that :)
Anyway, the SP is still under upwards bias and will move up in my opinion. Current quotes:
Buy 500k shares @ 1.0345p
Sell 500k shares @ 1.0125p
Very tight spread even though the bid is at 0.95p. I think it dropped to 0.95p due to the large 1 mil sells. The bid should move back up again.
Nothing strange. Just some forward selling. K are getting 11 million odd shares which probably covers interest due and extension fees etc. They are significant shareholder and dont need to wait for shares to be issued. They are selling enough to get the income in without diluting themselves % wise.
Strange reaction today.
Nevermind.... One day closer to Gas.
Must have been about 4 years ago someone on UKOG was using spread betting. EVERYONE (both naysayers and cheerleaders) counselled against it
He disappeared shortly after
HITS, forward selling?
From the RNS: “Admission will become effective on or around 5 November 2021”
5th November - expect a TR-1 for increased holding, 5/6 or 7 Nov.
Ocelot, what do you imagine the other side of that particular coin is? What's the explanation for the noticeably increased activity and appearance of "new" IDs over the last few weeks?
I wonder if Knowe has been forward selling its free 11.2 million shares over this period...
Think one should just learn to live with the derampers.
Indeed, think their presence should be interpreted as a positive sign: they wouldn't be so active if they didn't consider there is a need for them to conduct themselves in this way, so they clearly believe Angus holds very substantial potential.
RT003,
I have been posting similar on this and other AIM boards for more than 4 years.
Still waiting anyone to provide a single shred of evidence that a PI can take out a short, or a broker that will accept one from any of these small caps.
The lack of understanding of even simple market knowledge widely available to anyone who dyor from many on these boards is staggering.
AIM is clearly a blind gamble and nothing more for many, despite how much 'research' they supposedly do.
Outright lies, myths and supposition around shorting, RNS requirements, Director dealing. MM games, manipulation, etc are the norm.
Too much emotion involved for some and not much realism, or open- mindedness in their outlook (on both sides) a lot of the time
Target?

I can assure you no one is short on Angus....no one
Guys for those that getting perturbed by these roasters just completely let them talk to an empty room
No one I repeat no one is "short" on Angus as the facility for retail investors (us) simply does NOT exist in the traditional sense
If they can find CFD's or spreadbets that offer Angus again it makes NO difference to the SP and is purely a bet and a bet alone
These derampers are simply looking for cheaper entry points....blank them completely
Repeat no one here is short...period
