Looks like Yanis is back on his meds.
Don’t be sensible, you will get berated on here!
Agreed ! Lol.
If Tidswell is involved it'll be garden path.................
Conncection to grid doesn't use a track it uses a pipe.
https://www.nationalgridgas.com/connections/applying-connection
Trouble is no-one has yet used the "new process" to get a quick connection to the grid so there is no track record to refer to....................................
and whatever people think they still need new planning permission for Balcombe.
Balcombe is Not in SCC jurisdiction as H.H. is. It is in the WSCC
The Well is already drilled. I know to say "just turn the taps on " can end with a slapped wrist. LOL
but that is exactly what it is for Balcombe.
As for Saltfleetby, There has been a new process to make it easier for connections to the grid. to takes it to under a year for it to happen. I posted a link on here sometime ago shown the new process. I'm Not going looking for it again.
The problem is that the Planning Application at Balcombe is still not submitted
Even if it was for an extension to a garage it would then take 3 months
You can bet your life the Council and the Swampies will delay this over and over. They have to consult ( a legal necessity) and the Council officials will be s*** scared of legal action so they'll crawl all over it.
Horse Hill have been waiting 8 months for their application to even be heard. If the Council reject it for any reason its another 3-6 months to go back - if they keep rejecting it (as they do in Lancashire etc) you eventually have to have a public enquiry - another 12 months.
Every step is open to legal challenge and will be challenged.
Remember Holmwood? 8+ years of planning arguments.................. and still not drilled.............
As for Saltfleetby - if anyone knows someone who established a National Grid connection in less than 18 months you'd better let the industry know. I understand it took the National Grid 4 months to answer a simple letter of enquiry for another operator - they don't want to bother with small onshore gas fields - they only want to deal with N Sea operators who offer vastly larger volumes and much longer peak flows.
As far as I understand it. the y need OGA as its an extended wll test they are in for. When they were going back in Feb it was just to remove the last of the brine and prove the oil and stop.
Early filing of the application should boost sentiment a bit and see the SP settling above 2p. Might even give it a positive bias. Hopefully, filing this month, a positive surprise can go a long way.
as if they WERE referring
Don't know more than that, Yanis, but it certainly didn't sound as if they referring to other authorities such as the 2 you mention.
Keep your eye on the planning dates here. WSCC closed for all types of meeting in August. first planning is 10th Sept.
https://westsussex.moderngov.co.uk/mgCalendarMonthView.aspx?M=7&DD=2019&CID=0&OT=&CT=0&MR=1&ACT=Later
Ocelot, would the other sources be OGA and EA? If so, permissions given by them would still be valid?
Because, as they have explained, quite a number of the documents forming part of the application are not under their control, they come from outside sources.
And some of the material is of a seasonal nature, ie, can only be produced at certain times of the year.
Why can the Balcombe application not be submitted now?
As far as we know the reason they need another application is because Angus told the council that they finished testing, so the Council closed it out - Have I got this right?
If so why does it take so long to resubmit (the same?) application again. They already got it done once why can they not do some minor tweets and resubmit the same again?
I don’t see why it needs to take as long as end of August to resubmit. Then again I am no expert. Anybody knows why it might need to take this long to resubmit?
Nonsense : you have simply made up the 2 years bit. People like you really are annoying. You just pluck stuff from mid air to suit your agenda.
Fact from RNS : "At this stage the Directors are confident that reconnection at commercial rates is possible within the GBP2.5 million budget and advised timescale of completing work between May and August 2020. "
10 to 12 months.
Balcombe's planning requirement has only arisen because of Angus's own blunder: would not expect the council itself to erect many obstacles in their way (no need, Angus have done that themselves!).
Mirasol, " And at least a 6-12 month wait AFTER they get Planning into the Council " Why is that ?
After it is passed I'd expect them to get right in there.
I initially thought something along the lines of what your thinking 2020 for Balcombe, changed my mind to qtr 4 this year when they informed us that they have been working on the planning application since february ?? and alongside WSCC while doing it.

Good read .... thanks Torre.....
No I don't think articles on the new field as ramping
what is ramping is not to mention it could be 2 years and a shed load of cash before it comes back on stream
And Balcombe? Take any of the RNS re Brockham and you'll see the same pattern - instantaneous rates, nothing shipped, nothing sold - just the same analysis by the same people who screwed up Lidsey and Brockham. And at least a 6-12 month wait AFTER they get Planning into the Council
Nothing serious happening here - just day trading for 2 years. I'm sure it will suit many and some of them will make money but don't confuse it with long term value
do you consider news articles on the PROVEN gas field ramping?
The company has changed, they have a new project, PROVEN, not exploration, pure production with a further 10 year life span (minimum) and potential for much more. That is not ramping, it is fact. They guy who ran the field for WINGAS has joined ANGUS, he knows everything about the field.
Some people really neeed to learn to leave the past behind and look forward. It is not new investors fault that the previous management ballsed it up. I am looking at the company from now, with its potential and new bod. And it looks pretty good! Certainly IMO the market cap at present is still suffering because of the history but soon the new management will turn the sentiment around and the sp will get back to a realistic level.
I don't think anyone can honestly say with the new assett that the current market cap is realistic.
