We need to move on . The BOD say the problem was the maturity of the rocks. That is the past. The past will not make anyone any money. Moaning about it will not help. I have averaged down and cross my fingers for Saltfleet and Balcombe.
He may of been apart of the scam,,, doenst add up
Gkb, I don’t know the exact rules either, but did they not say in a previous RNS on successful water isolation “without bringing fluids to the surface”? SP dropped ... and then they clarified in tweets that they are not allowed to bring fluids to the surface without testing/production equipment installed?
Quote.....EA Injector well new rules causing Major issues for all onshore UK producers (Andrew Hollis).
Lidsey no Injector Well.
Brockham Injector well licence revoked.
Balcombe only one well and injector well will be required!
This will cause long delays and may a prove terminal if the timescale is into the years.
UKOG include a dedicated injector well in their plans for HH I note!
Gkb, I heard AH saying that they put fluids in and out of the well but they are not allowed to do that without testing/production equipment installed, so that statement is not true., if I did hear correctly. Either way, they did string us along expecting a flow test.
I hope the SP holds tomorrow.
Allan???
Punchy resume, Sageman.
A lot of the posts on this board concern the past.
Maybe the conference call will help to turn investors' minds towards the future, both in the shorter and the longer term.
Some pretty rubbish feedback on the conference call . I listened to the whole thing and asked a question. In my mind Brockham is dead and Saltfleet and Balcombe are the interesting plays short term. Our Mcap is £8m. Saltfleet is forecast to net us £2-3m pa. They also talked about ways to accelerate the flow of gas and the Numerian potential gas as well. My take was that 50p is pie in the sky but 10p is doable next year.
Thanks again.
Will wait for the RNS in the morning then if they said one would be released with a transcript, and maybe listen back to the call after that as often useful to hear for yourself what these guys say.
Will be interesting to see how the market responds.
Difficult to resume in a few words, they covered most of the points raised on this board recently, didn't avoid some pretty direct questions.
No question of going private, etc., etc, so best advised to listen to it, I think.
Thanks all for the updates during the call. Was not able to dial in.
Is it worth listening to later when available?
As a summary, any surprises, or just a PR exercise as many thought?
Not at all. But rampers such at yourself look for excuse after excuse to justify vapor. And are you saying , it is ok for investors to be lied to?
If you had been Lucan, wouldn't you have required Tidswell to provide some answers, - I know I would.
If oil maturity is an issue, I don't believe Andrew Hollis and / or Tidswell have been doing their jobs properly.
Lucan says he has confidence in Tidswell, but we should not be having confidence in either.
That's probably why Angus is going gas, lots has been extracted, and presumably maturity isn't an issue.
Lets hope they don't put Tidswell in charge of connecting the gas field.
No dates for loan repayment, - not good enough.
Big Bear 2
THat's nonsense...they had permission for a 7 Day well test at Balcombe, that's it. Anyone who knows planning , would know that any new activities would have to be submitted again to the relevant agencies....No company has that kind of optionality. Sigh.
Heard the call still holding as refuse to sell
Blood boiled when it transpired it’s conks fault we had to resubmit Balcombe plan....
All I want to know is what the f9k they can do to restore value between now and Balcombe....
Portland cannot be re entered at Brockham till water re injection allowed d9mn tree huggers
Without test/production equipment hooked up ...
GL answered it - yes.
At least GL stands by his man, unlike a certain candidate for the Tory party leadership.
Brockham explanation was laughable. Did I hear correctly they put fluids in and out of the well? I thought they are not allowed to do that with test/production equipment hooked up. Did I hear that?
I pressed *1 to ask this question but they did not come back to me.
Looks like this is a life style company.
They invented jam tomorrow dream and keep themselves afloat for our monies.
I would be afraid walking on daily basis if I was them.
They did. They said he was the Ops director not Tech Director and that he had their confidence as he'd always delivered safe operations with only minor cost or time overruns - the allusion being that some were to be expected.
just breaks between collating ?'s - strange arrangement - but hey,ho.
line may have dropped out - why the same [tech] problems even after decades since introduced
ask the question then gkb (metres)
Balcombe, they say they would be more than happy with 300 bopd.
Re maturity window,
I think it was Andrew who said there is a few degrees difference between hh and brockham...
Oil maturity window to google here.
