“I suspect you might get a cracking chance to do a lot more of that tomorrow morning!? GL”
then pls pls sell first thing in the morning as soon as the market opens, get your money then close the door behind you and leave us alone haha
Rxdav, the Sp tanked because the drill failed. The Sp will rise and fall on speculation and results. If you need the money now then sell. Do you seriously not believe another spike will happen. Look at Petro Matad 2 p and the mentally derail the crew almost baying for blood and 6 months late up nearly 450%. High risk can be good or bad but don’t sit and cry when a gamble fails. Luckily here the next gamble is close at hand.
ocelot: Could be wrong - but I suspect you might get a cracking chance to do a lot more of that tomorrow morning!? GL
IMO
PS: should add: have already begun to lower my average.
Wish you all the best, rxdav.
It's only relatively recently that I've been keeping a close eye on Angus, as the share price went into almost-vertical decline.
My current position is a small one (which became £s smaller after the Brockham RNS!).
I am thinking of doing more than simply "hanging in".
I'm not sure what to expect from the market tomorrow, so many times one see's an RNS and more often than not the market goes the other way.
Overall, I thought the Conference call went OK.
What is needed, is Balcombe to get underway.
I'll sit on the shares I have.
Don't see much point in being in here for a while. It's going to be full of trolls
ATB.
ocelot: You're a smart guy - and you may be correct in your assessment of the current psychology here. However, stating 'estimated net cash flow of £2-3m pa...' etc. (with regard to Saltfleetby) means very little to most now - because they simply no longer believe a word that comes out of ANGS - and with very good reason (they have heard it all before). Without trust any company who have no short term cash-flow prospects would struggle - but a company mired in distrust like ANGS is going to have an uphill struggle to convince shareholders that night follows day! However, if you're choosing to hang in that's your call and I wish you well - but I've been deceived way too often here so will exit. GL

YL,
Investors buy and sell.
Discontented investors can sell (although they can always buy back in again), new investors can buy in for the first time.
"The current share price makes no allowance for Saltfleetby (estimated net cash flow of £2-3m pa, but reconnection to the National Gas Grid remains to be confirmed) or Balcombe's prospects."
Given the past and current history of this BOD why should the market attribute ANY VALUE whatsoever to these two? Do you "honestly" believe the market / or investors have any faith left in this shower anymore?!?!
Watch what the market thinks of Lucan's conference call tomorrow for a clue as to where this is headed...
Find it hard to understand why the so called holders of this share, are trying their hardest to push the share price down even lower. If they are indeed still invested? Cutting of your nose................ Springs to mind!
Charlie London
I never mentioned Mr Vonk, you and other rampers. did to somehow explain the vapor. Similarly you keep saying this is new management and it is a new day, fresh beginnings. Obviously not , JTP , AH etc, the same old management whilst Lord Lucan defends JTP - his major shareholder. Why? Probably doesn’t want JTP to file another requisition as he needs a job.
Think this board has gone into a deeper meltdown than the stock itself and has become a kind of negative mental loop.
The current share price makes no allowance for Saltfleetby (estimated net cash flow of £2-3m pa, but reconnection to the National Gas Grid remains to be confirmed) or Balcombe's prospects, so is significantly undervalued.
I guess this will be down by 20 % tomorrow then it will climb up slowly . This will come in time , looking at 24 months at least by then at 10p 12p
This stock has become highest risk on the aim , good luck every one and goodbye
Adam07: I wish you well with that - I am moving on (and ANGS needs new cannon fodder). However, I think you better brace yourself for the beginning of the rerate - which is likely to start first thing tomorrow - but I suspect it will not be the type of rerate you're hoping for!?
Incidentally, nhawan, will1734 and JacksDad all seem conspicuous by their absence after their serial ramping recently (DHC is way too smart to still be hanging around here) - so no surprises there I guess?
IMO
Realanalyst unless you have sold you have lost nothing and if you have lost millions it shows you are no analyst and clearly know little about investment. This is a high risk gamble not fit for more than 1 or 2% of your portfolio. My sole interest is the future. Do I believe that the fall in the Sp is overdone? Yes. Do I believe the Sp will be £1 anytime soon? No. Do I believe that 5-10p is achievable with good fortune within 18 months? Yes. Investment is a game of patience . There will be speculation about the gas and the oil so there will be spikes. So man up and stop crying in your beer!
Sageman
Move on?are you serious?'or just having a laugh?
None of us who have lost 80 or 90%,and in some cases millions, can move on..our lives gave been ruined..nit through bad luck but calculated deception
Oil companies drill dusters, it happens. They then move on to the next opportunity. People here are still in the past. You only lose when you sell. Focus on future opportunities, it is all we can do. I too am ****ed off sitting on a 6 figure paper loss. At 4.5p I break even . There is still a chance that next year I will break even but being negative and crying about the past is futile , complete wombat behaviour.
IMHO Brockham explanation whilst was the truth now does not explain the complete utter balls on all this Kim analysis done before.
This was NOT an exploration drill as they tried to say the exploration drill was done ages ago and they did detailed analysis saying the Kimmeridge here was at least as good as HH.
This was a production test that basically proved all their prior analysis of the Kimmeridge was absolutely tosh.
Having said that Balcombe sound much better so it’s a case of come back in q4
Yanis2005
They did pump fluids around the well and circulate into and back out of the the onsite storage tanks. What they were not allowed to do was extract fluids from the well.
That was the big orange bit of kit we saw working the week before the RNS, in the conferance they called it a jet pump.
Not necessarily...we can go after the individual dI rectors, who have lied and fraudulently mislead the market..they're worth millions.
We can also sue the nomads and London stock exchange for lack I'd due diligence....JTP''s "Captain America" and Lidsey are just the start!
Sageman: "We need to move on . The BOD say the problem was the maturity of the rocks. That is the past."
Unfortuantely... neither LTH's nor the BOD can "move on" from this mess until some honest answers are given. The CC today did not even come close to answering the multitude of questions over continued mismanagement, deceit and unmitigated disaster.
If Lucan and Tideswell SERIOUSLY think they can wash their hands and carry on here if nothing whatsoever has happened then they are even more foolish than I first thought.
Tomorrow, the market will begin a slow crucifixion of the SP which will continue until this company folds for good.
Seriously: What new investor - in the right mind - will invest good money here unless they're hardened gamblers with a high-risk appetite chasing a lucky spike?
Until the BOD take responsibility... give a full HONEST account and do the honorable thing: replace themselves with competent trustworthy individuals... this company will be a laughing stock!
Utterly Uninvestable!
Also if they do sell Brockham as planned,Lucan says they expect a few million for it.That's more potential compensation for all the investors who have been swindled.
The problem is the market cap is tiny. A legal case will just reward lawyers. For us we have to hope for better luck next time. What are the prospects going forwards not what happened yesterday.
Sageman, been averaging down for a long time now. Right this moment, more than £60k under and not willing to risk any more. I don’t know about others, but I am not convinced about the explanation they gave us on Brockham. Does not add up.
They were at the very least negligently misleading in stating that Brockham would be more productive than HH,had much deeper layers, and then Vonk and JTP stating that Brockham would be 'star wars'-the star producing asset-if there was a maturity issue, the core analysis would have revealed this. ...so they either lied about it before or they're lying now...all that ultra ramping and negligently misleading claims by Vonk and JTP.. that has cost us millions...this is a catastrophe of epic proportions. .people have been swindled and defrauded put of huge sums if money -life savings, inheritances from patents.
Dont accept this fraudulent swindle
