@thehighlander - you seem to know Amte well - what's the IP that Amte has that is not licensed from third parties? Tq
Agree. Some good points you make there thehighlander. Just looking for a clear picture of the road ahead. I have no doubt Amte have a bright future ahead with what they have developed & have in store. If what Amte have the new developed cells & Britishvolt don’t, Britishvolt may need Amte more than Amte need Britishvolt. Both companies will do very well I’m sure.
Yeah you make some really good points there. I was just under the illusion that AMTE were helping Britishvolt in some way or even producing batteries for them and found it odd that since they announced the MoU between the companies nothing else has been mentioned. Still only time will tell. Not too fussed either way. If Britishvolt do their own thing its another company to potentially invest in.
Britishvolt shouldn't have any influence in a decision to buy amte stock, do they have IP, have they even made a cell, do they even make cells? their giga factory prospect is literally just a factory for cells to be produced, how are they going to make pouch cells if they build a cylindrical line factory? sounds a bit crazy to build a factory without a design in place and advertised in some way or another. Amte on the other hand have their own ip and produce cells, they will have their own gigafactory geared to produce what you see on their site. to add,18650's, 21700's etc i don't think will stay as the cell design for the future. Do you see a flat pouched cylindrical when you look at their UHP cell? interesting..
Really!? That is something. I am finding this all really strange seeing as they both signed a MoU. I have tweeted and emailed both AMTE and Britishvolt regarding their partnership. They obviously wont reply but you don’t ask you don’t get.
There's an article in the Telegraph today about an investment from an American oil tycoon investing in Britisvolt. It describes AMTE as being a 'rival'.
I’ve been wondering the exact same thing, AMTE being announced as their startup partner is the main reason why i bought in. I find it odd that the only time Britishvolt has mentioned AMTE was back in May 2020.
Britisvolt Interview out yesterday claiming to be the first & biggest gigafactory. Where does Amte sit here? Are Amte in with them as earlier proposed to be? Will we share a factory? Why are Amte claiming to be looking at sites to build a factory in Wales , Scotland & the North East where Britishvolts factory will be? Claims in the interview to be building with partners. Are Amte one of these partners? Wouldn’t mind knowing the answers to these questions.
