Dreadful company...ah! But they provide a useful service. Of course, as long as we celebrate poverty.
Fingers crossed it goes even higher for you JT, hope you enjoy your retirement at sea! :o)
Noobz, not sure if I could afford that now since all my spare funds have been allocated to the short. I'm hoping it will stay at this level until more funds coming next week
3300 + Monkey
Yes - 1973 joined as 5th engineer - steam turbines.
1983 - Passed exams after 4 * 3 monthly adult Technical skool and 24 months (Regulatory) sea time.
So started sailing as Chief from 30 on.
Monkey - read the book and self taught - kicked of with a 12 foot cat - 3 months later 17 foot hobbycat.
II's natutal - I look at the sail and see it as a simple one blade turbine- The rest is easy ????
Love it.
Since handled 42 footer mizzen - actually easier than the Cat.
Cheers
JT
Good idea to keep an eye on AMGO folks. Gunning for a very big close, big gap up Monday. GL here!
JT I hope it comes good for you. A Norwegian friend of mine recently retired as a radio engineer on North Sea oil rigs. He and his wife have recently returned from a trip down the UK, France and Spain coasts, then across to the Azores and onward to Brazil Argentina and the Caribbean. Unforfunately COVID19 intervened so they were unable to go ashore in many places. They are due back in Norway today. http://syoceanviking.blogspot.com/
Nice one, JT.
I'm doing the RYA courses in the spring then looking to get myself a 34 ft motor cruiser to moor in Lanzarote for my retirement :)
3300
Cheers.
EUA looks to be the stco of the year - I bought in on a xdress from ""Amers"" - bought at 6P - 2 days later - suspended at 7.1 P - been suspended 4 months - but now they announced they are for sale in part or whole.
Calculations for the PD / other metals - loks like 60 - 100P / share.
Game changer for me - at 66 - will buy my 45 footer and sail off around the world - single handed.
Was 45 years at sea - 35 as Chief enginqueer - but we know how to sail.
Always my dream retirement.

47.6 needs to cross to go up..
Off - I know nothing about them JT - from a quick read, the only thing I know is that it will take more than a quick read to figure that out. Looks a proper mess!
I'm in CERP alongside Mr Cars which seems equally 'fun'!
Wild tiger “invest in the worlds leading companies from as little as £1 only with trading 212”
Paul
Would you read that TR1 on EUA and give me your opinion.
Guess they will try to purchase off market ???
At what price though ?
Possible they may work on the Vwap - however given the opening (If lifted from Suspension) it may go from 0.11 to 100 in a heartbeat !!!
All : apologies for xdress - but the EUA board - impossible to chat like thiss !!!!!
Cheers
JT
Of course he didn't increase his short - as was unearthed yesterday, it's impossible to short AML right now unless you are an institution. Tiger just can't afford to invest, so he's just entertaining himself trying to cause upset whilst sat in his pants the sofa, to give his day at least some meaning. Pitiful.
Talking about shorts - xdressing :
EUA (Suspended) are noe seeing shorts / CFD trying to exit !!!!
Right laugh.
Writing is set in stone on that EUA wall.
Am VERY exposed there !!!
No Fear..
JT
No truer word said.
Gkerr, still not too late to cut your losses, this thing will be touching 30s next week for sure. Plenty of less risky stocks around at the moment, you don't have to make losses back from the same stock!
SP might sometimes hold against a falling FTSE.... but it would be very rare for it to climb against a falling FTSE. IMO.
Those who recommend to keep buying to average down...I'd be even more concerned if I'd done that given the drop from my entry at 87p. I used all my available funds for share buying
I'm holding now for maybe a year hoping that this has picked up considerably from these current lows.
All I'll add is it's definitely worthwhile seeing who is most positive today and then checking their posting history. See what price they initially bought into, what level they 'averaged down' and see if their tone has changed even one iota at any point.
This is the scariest stock I've owned to date. Just when you think it won't fall further....it does. I'm trying to stop checking it as often but I can't help myself.
myk, I would try to explain how I see it (I'm not long or short), but I'll just be called a maggot for my efforts so it's just not worth it for me. DYOR.
myk3
Yes - we had two bizzare days were the SP was railroaded and strict price lock - all day indicating low Volumes - until the close / UT.
Last week was some 3M and yesterdays close 10M at the UT.
On both occasions - shorts reduced significantly until yesterday at 1.02%.
So it doesn't take an understanding of E=MC2.
MM's held the fire escapes open - mates rates for the exit.
Looks as if we may have rotated to head North - as more buys arrive.
More of a tingle in the nether regions..............
Hope this helps.
All the best
JT
@JT, thanks for this.
I fell surprisingly calm with all this. Especially if not many shorters left.
Managed to get back in on the low today similar to WG.
Hoping that the stock does not want to really go beyond the 10% lower than the placing, but you never know.
Funny old market this one!
In for the LT.
Thanks JT.
sorry i have not been following much this week as been busy with work and cant keep up with the message board.
what has actually changed since last weeks drop to 50p since the placing other than 20% dilution?
Im trying to work it out and why the drop to 45p - i get the markets are down and yea a dip to this level could happen on no news but is there anything i am missing other than "sentiment" or broker re-rates that could cause the SP to drop further... i see no additional RNS's of much interest.
LSX - 9th on the fallers (Phew - get off all together) 2nd place on Vol - Amigo lead at 65M (WOW)
# of Trades 8,018
Vol Sold 9,359,794
Vol Bought 10,745,776 -- 1.15:1 - buys take the lead and strengthens.
20M/ 31.4M -- 64% of the 65D avg - re-targets 45M for the day.
Spread: 0.040 (0.09%) - this reflects much of yesterday - at such low levels - I have again not observed - if other poster wish to comment?
Auto Vol : 9,584,833 --- 48%
VWAP : 46.89
Markers: all steady / un-changed.
Data source - same
GLA LTI's as not too many shorters left ???
