A big thank you to Englander, Rob, Dunnie, Carpy and others. Your posts over the past few months were instrumental in me deciding to hold on to my shares.
The silence from the negative ranters is deafening!
Thanks again guys.
Don't see SP going to much lower as overall market is very bullish at the moment. Any positive tone in the news will make SP fly.
GL to you all.
Nice one Rob. Well spotted mate. I joined a telegram group with Englangder after he was good enough to post his number the other day. Like myself he also likes to have a laugh but be serious when necessary. He’s given me some invaluable advice regarding investing as it’s something I’m new to. We’re both cut from the same cloth. I strongly believe in karma so if I post then it’s to give good information or my honest advice and opinion.
looks like wallstreet bets having another go , game stop up from $44 to $94 to day ,trading halted twice ,all good fun , they need to turn their attention to AML
Absolutely Tiny and welcome aboard the AML train Jack Walker - Choo choo!!!!!!! Lol, had to be said. I don’t think it will be an investment you’ll regret at all if you’re here for the long term though I also don’t see any negatives of concern from here. We may have a very short dip tomorrow depending on what we learn but simply down to the numbers though numbers may not be so bad - particularly China, Americas and other parts of the world. Either way, I’m very confident there’ll be many positives announced too.
I only heard about Aston at the end of December. The start of this year is the first time I've invested in the stock market. I'm an F1 fan and I did my research before investing (including scouring this bb - thanks to all of you!)
There are lots of reasons to invest but my main one is belief in those in leadership positions and other key investors who've put their own money in. If its good enough for Mercedes and toto it's good enough for me.
I sold my shares in easyjet at the end of play today and put it all into aston. Even if tomorrow isn't what we hope for I'll be happy to keep for the long term. Has dragged my average up to £19! Not as impressive as the majority of you but I'm happy with it.
I'm surprised of talk of the SP dropping significantly below £20. I personally don't buy it. We're less than a month on from an admittedly gossip driven potential buy out which undervalued the shares according to stroll who was having none of it.
Stroll values the company
Mercedes value the company
.... And even if its *******s... It wouldn't be surprising if others were interested too.
For this reason I don't think there is the downside on the SP that there used to be
Hopefully I'm not chatting **** ??
Tomorrow we get news and answers, that's what's happening. It will be what it is. Stroll hasn't done a thing wrong so far. He took something that was almost dead and brought it back to life. Hes in for the long journey with us. If tomorrow isn't good reading then that's not because stroll and Co have done anything wrong, the company prob wouldnt exist now without him! In the grand scheme of things stroll and Mores are just getting started, all the hard work of putting together a dream team has been done, we just need to sit back and let them make us rich. When you think back to the 50p and under days I would of been over the moon if someone had told me the sp will be where its at today and on the verge of q4 results. Any lth on here have got plenty of profit wiggle room in the bank for any eventualities that may come our way. Tomorrow we will get answers to questions we've all been asking for ages, so good or bad, either way we will have answers. Stroll is a master of business, he'll have plenty of tricks up his sleeve to make tomorrow fit his master plan. I expect lots of good news coming in the next few weeks and especially with F1 about to start ramping up. Strolls plan is to make this massive in 5 years, the dead line isn't tomorrow.
Here here chaps! Got my tickets for Silverstone and cannot wait to see AM cars flying round as well as our SP here throughout the year!!!
JonTaylor. Very well put. Most people focus mainly on share price as in reality we all invest to make money. But the bigger picture is that Aston Martin now employ a top team in all areas to bring the best out of the business. The ship is steadied and now things are moving in the right direction. This in turn will make everyone’s investments safer and possible future returns greater for us all.
I personally am not worried about short term sp as the foundations are built now for a very nice payday further down the line.
GLA especially Aston Martin as a company.
Exciting times.
Can’t wait for first Grand Prix!!
Just reflecting for a moment on the 26th May announcement made when Tobias was appointed CEO. 'Under Tobias' leadership, Mercedes-AMG has more than doubled its product portfolio and quadrupled the number of AMG units sold, with a clear pipeline of further expansion opportunities, especially in electrification of powertrains in the performance segment. Tobias' focus on operating and manufacturing efficiency has delivered significant margin expansion'. From his official start date last August, Moers has been building up to this moment. He & Stroll won't disappoint tomorrow. Personally haven't sold a single share on the way up in this utterly compelling story.
Eng,
Capital raise is possible not because need money but strengthen of ownership (that one the reason I put top sliced) but cancel and decided to ride out.....
Long haul .... patient is key.
Just wait see tomorrow and see what plan ‘Ahead’
I wouldn’t surprised we will witness new model’s coming up with Moers speech
Agree Rob and GLA fellow AML brothers and sisters. Rise or fall tomorrow, I’m buying more! Can someone just confirm that the update tomorrow starts at 8.30am?
I agree with you carpy, I can only see positive results being posted for q4. Positive being better than q3 in my eyes which is all we can ask for, q4 is 3 months of no lockdown until 3rd week of December when factory would have been closed for Xmas anyway. Full year isn’t going to look good but we’ll soon find out what damage has been done. Q1 2021 will be a lot worse in uk due to full lockdown from Jan- March and not so good in eu & us either but hopefully Asia has kept things going, either way we’ll find out Q1 2021 end of May by which time lockdown will be over and things will finally be looking back to normal.
Rob,
We going for ride out until the end ;)
I did set the top sliced earlier this week but didn’t reached do I withdrew first thing today after read new news .... I could see Stroll mastermind start come out slowly... read my post this morning the Asia also the watch (luxury) signed 2 days ago .... there few more... so it just matter of time.
Just don’t press the button, and yes feeling like grumpy when bad days...
I think it will start decline SP one day not because of business but no one able buy shares it getting few lefts after Stroll’s mopping up all shares.
So just leave until the Mercedes sort our money.
Unlike yesterday’s £5m buy after hours this looks like a £1.5m sell as price started rising just before close and price is 19p below where the buy price was at when the market closed. All those after hour trades must be this one person.
Feb 24, 2021 16:35:07 2,001.00p 74,885 £1,498,448.85
This is a 5 year plan...LTHs have nothing to fear. It's what the future holds that is important not the past performance that has been shaped by a pandemic which we now have a way out of. I still believe tomorrows results will be ok and the shares will rise on the strength of Chinas results and future plans.
Loads of big trades againfrom 16.30 onwards priced between £19.90 and £20.08.

I personally don’t see this going all the way down to £16-£18. Whilst I personally would love it to so I can top up more shares I just don’t see it happening
Rob/Carpy, unlike some here were not stupid people and know that ‘Rome wasn’t built in a day’, so all we need is to see progress,, i maintain even as bad as the pandemic has been it has produced a unique set of circumstances for Stroll to acquire and introduce his & Moers strategy, and I say ‘introduce the strategy’, it will take time to ‘implement’ through to fruition.
I'm expecting similar Dunnie. Looking forward to hearing about increasing sales in China and plans for the future including news about new car derivatives.
I'm expecting news to be that all things considered AML has managed to steer its way through and continues to improve in every dept, and the sp moves to the next level, £25-£27.
GLA.
