Bonds continuing a recovery so looking for a good day here to start the week off on the right foot :-)
Thank you capymick and Englangder for your responses of 10:24 and 12:54 yesterday.
Nite25, you have zero respect from anyone on this board. Englangder has the respect of most I would say. Seems strange that you want to spend your time talking down a share that is going places. No company is perfect and I'm sure with a magic wand aston would change a few things. But overall this is only going one way. What's that saying?, " if you can't beat them join them" it's not to late for you to turn from the dark side!!!
Absolutely Englander, as previously stated, we’re still above 2000p after nearly a year of hell with Covid. Stroll and Co have been truly outstanding in that time and will continue to be without shadow of a doubt and who hasn’t had to find extra funds given Covid!!!! Very very bright days ahead
:-)
The only thing that spoilt last Thursday’s results was the additional £70 million secured notes but in the scheme of things, the good far outweighed the bad IMO and for the SP to have pretty much settled back down at the end of Friday to the SP close on Wednesday was overdone. We know the SP doesn’t tend to move in sync with the market (as witnessed on many occasions) but it was rough last week. Sentiment for AML is generally very bullish IMO and as you say carpy, it will be Q3&4 that we really hope to see this tick up significantly with the worst of Covid disruption firmly behind us. I don’t see any obvious justification for this to drop further but with the secured notes and general market sentiment hostilities last week, can accept it being flat right now but I hope to see it start edging its way back up next week - certainly if markets are more positive generally.
You're right Englangder. The company's sorted which is why Stroll wasn't at the results presentation. Total confidence in his Company and his team. There's only one way this is going now and that's up. Yea there'll be the odd dip cos no share goes in a straight line, we all know that. But anyone who shorts this after seeing those results needs their head examining.
If I'm reading them correctly Englangder, your charts look good to me and seem to reflect what we can expect from the results. We should see a surge in Q3 and more so in Q4 when revenue increases from sales of valkyrie and speedster. We'll also see the intro of the new DBX derivative which wont hurt the SP. So if your chart is indicating ÂŁ40 at EOY, then it wouldn't surprise me if that's correct. Between now and then we're bound to have peaks and troughs and if people sell that's their choice. I know what we'll be doing mate, holding and Strolling all the way :-))
I mean I look forward to your charts, not the sp potentially going down!
Look forward to it Englangder mate.

I'm not sure what to make of this article. Given me the heeby jeebies a little bit. Surprised there are still analysts that bullish on AM. Would appreciate people's thoughts on it
NRL. At the time I was surprised to see that Stroll wasn't at the presentation. However, I've thought about it since and I'm sure you're right that the reason is they are now confident about the turnaround. As you say, they knew they were going to have lots of analysts there and would have to answer detailed questions but they weren't worried because they are now totally confident about the future of AM. And so they should be, DBX has now proved it is a success with new variants on the way, sports cars did better than expected, valkyrie being delivered later this year plus new derivatives planned, orders already received for valhalla...and F1 about to start. They are CONFIDENT and so should we be. We have a great future ahead my friend. And another thing...when you listen to the results, what jumps out at me is that the 2 billion revenue target for 2024/25 is only a mid term target. Stroll obviously expects to achieve much more than this in the long term :-))
All - just catching on postings and agree results were great. Were people not surprised that Stroll was not part of presentation or the Q&A? Not sure whether it was because Stroll was not there or they are getting more confident about the turnaround but Tobias and Gregor seemed more open at answering questions asked than in the July and October q and as. There also seemed more analysts present, all of which asked detailed questions, which I took as a positive.
Market had two bad days at end of week. So be interested what share does when ftse flat or goes up.
Englander - thank you for continuing to post your charts.
Doyezee - regarding your post of 25 Feb 2021 at 17:28, whilst the prices predicted may have been incorrect, I find gt4racer’s view of trends quite informative. We have lost a number of posters I valued such as Dimi, Nevas, Synxs, Amann etc and I hope we have not lost gt4racer.
Car,
Reason for delay is the Hyperscreen new version (still in patent stages) there is possible start in 2022 obviously Mercedes models will come out firstly. Hyperscreen gen 2.
I think it not issue for AM sport car but perhaps yes for DBX as it family car but I am sure it will still able to take you to correct address, listen radio, etc...
Also I have read some posts here say....... oh look Mercedes engines in AM bonnet.... the engine is in top range of Mercedes Dept where they make for top ranges of car inc the MayBach ( Mercedes-MayBach) ..... it just need a time to see the results come out.
This week ......
Tomorrow morning there an open to buy of AM F1 (hat, jackets, etc.... might be giveaway clue what look like the AM F1 on this Wednesday at 3pm. (You can find at AM website.
Good luck to all,
I'm sure the current infotainment isnt so bad that its going to be put people off buying these cars. All the other changes are far more important.
Well it's taken me a while to find this but on page 16 of the FY Results Presentation doc it states "Electrified powertrains and upgraded infotainment in 2023/24. I'm surprised because I am sure I remember it being mentioned at Q3 that infotainment systems would start being updated in Q3 of 2021.
Nite25. Have you heard, Q branch are doing limited production furry dice edition with mink scatter cushions on the back seats.
I thought they were starting to put in the new infotainment later this year but I may be wrong.
They say don’t wish your life away but I’d love to fast forward 2/3 years!! Future for AML and AM F1 looks very bright IMHO
Now that's more like it! That's the sort of article everyone should be printing...come on Aston :-))

The big takeaway is that more than 10 new vehicles will be launched with Mercedes technology by 2023.
