Paul. I give up. I won't bring it up ever again.
good day on ftse tomorrow so may be good here. closed my short before close. Nice little profit but too risky now.
You too Darren.
yeah I get that thanks tiger - not quite the same holding a pool of shares... anyway have a good eve
FFS - read english. SENTIMENT balance. The very same reason why SP goes up and down - more people looking to buy than sell, and vice versa.
I'm pretty sure we had this exact conversation 3 days ago, I don't understand why you're being a twat about it. All JT is doing is replicating the data feeds raw from LSE for us, which is extremely valuable. JT isn't editing it - go argue with LSE!
Darren the pool is an order book, they have sell orders and buy orders, they match one to the other. If there is someone who wants 10,000 shares, they can match that with 3 sellers who are selling 2000, 3000 and 5000 for example.
Paul - I don't want to pick a fight and yes, I totally agree with you but there is no imbalance. there is a sell for every buy. that's what a mm (or sets) does - matches up buyers and sellers. there is no imbalance.
last time I'm going to say it because nobody seems to understand and it's so painful.
Buffer..... the intricacies of BUY/SELL are unimportant, it's only a best guess estimate anyway. But what IS important, and the only reason why we even look at it - is the sentiment that the BUY/SELL balance implies. Nothing more is achievable from that data.
the world's only mm who likes to hold onto a pool of shares.... no risk there...
I'm afraid I don't understand your comment Darren. Perhaps you would care to elaborate.
tiger - you wouldn't last very long as a mm....
JT .. you are doing a good work! Just let this people talk in their words as they like. Would be great if you assist the investors in the future too. I think i am not allone with this thoughts. This Forum was fine till the words of some new members went into a backstreet character. I for myself pick up the relevant proofed details .. as yours .. and not the glas bowl shouts in here.
Simple to answer DBuffer, the MMs hold a pool of shares, sells go into the pool and buys come out of the pool, so NO there does not have to be a sell for every buy. Simples.
JTMacs - for once and for all then, please answer me this question:
True or false - every buy trade must have a corresponding sale trade?
please just answer that question. very simple and very basic.
If you don’t like someone’s input on this BB, don’t read them.... Simples
JTM please keep putting all the information and updates out, when I started reading them I could not understand much of it but the more I read them and try to follow the details the more understanding I get and any knowledge is good for me. I am not nasty to anyone on here but do use the green box sometimes
Rox, you think I am arrogant, just for asking questions?
From 3300 in the last 24 hours alone, I've had...
"It’s true you may have a problem with your parents/moral compass
Does not mean you’re stupid. Just unpleasant.
Convinced you’re not entirely stupid
Possibly not well brought up? ".
You guys win, consider me hounded out.
Good luck with AML
I appreciate the updates, reclon i understand maybe 20% of it now lol
@Dickie88
No issues - expected - II's are throwing charcoal on the BBQ.
Shorts howling as the heat goes on.
Spitting their fury - at me - OK
Good
Love it.
Nice chilled cider and BBQ
JT
3300, what did I say that was unpleasant?
I have never called anyone names or accused them of anything, I have only asked questions.
And that's after being called a maggot shorter.
......and dare I say a touch of arrogance?
I have got to admit though I’m warming to you but it would be great if you could work on those social skills. It’s not what you say it’s how you say it. Oway man.
Jt i really appreciate the regular updates please keep them coming!
As said previously if you dont like them keep scrolling! Not hard is it
Promise : This BB will be updated as regular as possible with data / volumes that you have come to expect.
No abuse will deter me.
Long Term Investor. = LTI
Guy's
The data is live feed from LSX to LSE and all other L2 live feeds.
All google feeds come from LSX or the originator Exchange.
The data is valid - it is used to feed ALL Charts along with Financial houses / institutions and SHORTS !!!!
ANY site that altered such data - is in breach of FCA.
Then - all L2 paid members are paying for corrupt data - really;y.
I will not be requesting a refund based on that argument.
Clearly - our paid posters do NOT want this data posted as it ""Assists"" LTI's.
Not what their masters pay them to allow.
Hence - Green Box facilty.
So - just green Box me - ignore my Volume Data posts - no need to abuse me - just GB me.
Or is it essential to abuse - so as to tick another post for your pay check ?
Bye
xxx
I admire the sentiment too, I only asked him what his source was.
Obviously pointing out that the information is unreliable isn't what he wanted to hear.
JT, it wasn't personal man!
I wonder how he would feel if someone accused him of being a maggot shorter and filtered him though, especially after trying highlight the fact retail investors CAN'T short AML.
I guess he cannot see that info as he filtered me already though... ;)
just so we're clear I think it's a super nice thing for JTMacs to do - I appreciate the sentiment.
and if people like reading it then fair play to them.
but if you think it's reliable.....
I appreciate what you do even though I'm still trying to understand all of the information ...so I assume one of those kisses is for me.
What does LTI mean or what is an LTI?
