Yes I'm shorting this on a spreadbet but I'm not paid by anybody nor in the CIA lol..
I'm shorting as the share price is way to high considering the current net debt , net cash and cashflow. Am urgently need a cash injection to continue and the methods they have to do this will lose the price
Im a long term investor building up shares ISAs nicwly for an early retirement. I'd buy aston Martin shares when they are good value for money and I nearly bought a vantage but went for a noble instead.
Not the same. Am has humongous net debt!
Am has negative cashflow.
How do you service debt payments and build a business with the above? Raise more cash. IE placement thus dilution likely coming
bought between 0,45 and 0,60 old money, doubled money Sold at 21, 20,19 bought house, live rent-free now sold 15.5 bought at 13,12,9,8,7, and last 6.38 and 6.46 still holding. Was and still is an emotional rollercoaster. I wished that I kept my pocket closed till last week to max the shares, but hey, that's life. Have a great weekend.
Maybe book a GCSE course as well….then a consultation with a medical professional x
LTH haha! Bets you wish you had solded at £22 haha! Will need to be very longs term haha! If you still use library youmust be old and may not get any monies haha!
Is it another coincidence that c26 just disappears when there is a rise with this share? Anyway, have a great weekend to all the legit LTH's x
PS Clothman, let us know what book you pick up from the library this weekend x
Interesting to see MM trying different strategy by wider spread (13%) …. I think AML now might spotted MM play game with shorter so need new MM or other one leave this MM no choice (that what I would do).
You don’t have tell us you daft git.
It give away!!! We know already lol.
You're right! You have unmasked me. I am C26 in disguise.
I get what you're saying about the time factor Lurkio. Everything comes down to timing at the end of the day. We wouldn't be where we are if it wasn't for the pandemic going on for so long and now that tyrant Putin trying to cause WW3. However, the way I understand it (not that I'm an expert), a collapsing SP doesn't directly cause a company to go bust. It just means that the company isn't very popular with the public. The only way a collapsed SP can cause bankruptcy is indirectly when a company needs to cash raise to survive and this becomes more difficult. We're not currently in that position. We have solid order books and if China's lockdowns persist we can simply reallocate resources to meeting orders for the other countries until China re-opens. Our revenue for this year should therefore still increase as forecast. And you never know we may get lucky and China will lift their lockdowns in the near future and Putin will be overthrown...we need to stay positive. Also, I have to say that with regard to SP, we're no different to any other recovering company that is not currently in profit - they have all suffered especially badly during this bear market.
Haha love it Noahsark! Maybe Seoulman has a cloth addiction too x
Funny he only has 5 posts, what a coincidence..where's C26 when there is a rise in the share!
Seoulmon, you are not an investor in AML you wrote you sold it all. Why are you writing this? Why are Vanity projects a waste of time? Why is helicopter and motorcycle clutching at straws? Why is there no question that they have to raise money? And if so, why wouldn't they get it?
Seoulman,
I remember that ID user ! C26….. you know lots of us filter you (lots of green boxes) …. Now you use Seoulman to get attention? …. On your first post (see below) Karenable !,,!

Q2 earnings call22 Aug 2020 06:38
I'm a big fan of Aston Martin and own 15,000 shares. I'm optimistic about the future but it's good to keep an open mind. I follow a guy on Twitter who's a successful businessman and car enthusiast. He listened to the Q2 earnings call with Lawrence Stroll and posted his thoughts here: https://karenable.com/aston-martin-ferraris-q2-2020-results/
Well worth a read. Some slightly worrying points raised. Good luck everyone
Seoulman, you say a cash raise will happen as if its a fact! But the man in charge says it won't happen and even ken on his last statment said the company is heading towards been cash positive........... I'm gonna go with Stroll and the people who saved this company and who are working hard to push this company forwards thro very tricky times on this one rather than you. Only time will let who's right.
Top man carpy for reminding us all why were here.
And the fact that you include the helicopter and motorcycle just shows that you're clutching at straws. This is just the kind of **** that AM shouldn't be getting involved in. Vanity projects that are a total waste of time.
Carpy, it doesn't matter what is planned or what has been promised in terms of profit margins and sales figures. You can't get away from the fact that AM is burning through cash at a frightening rate. There is no question that they're going to have to raise money again within the next 18 months. That means a further dilution to the share price. No ands, ifs, or buts. It will happen. The current cash burn is unsustainable. Why is it not possible for someone to bring that up without being a deramper. As investors, aren't we supposed to at least try to be clear-eyed about the future?
Brilliant summation Carpymick. My faith in the company is restored after reading your post .
I have dozens of filtered posts showing in quick succession the past few days. I can only assume it is one deranged keyboard warrior posting multiple times.
A very positive post Carpy, and you have made many salient points. Excellent work sir! As an aside, our friend has said he’s not invested a few times recently, so I don’t really understand why people keep asking him. He has also said he’s not short, which as I mentioned recently, I find startling considering how negative he has been, and constantly continues to be. He has also said he’s not working for a fund, or with anyone in tandem etc. I’m not so sure about that as I’ve stated before, but like everyone on here I have no means to prove or disprove it. The only problem I see with everything you’ve mentioned Carpy is the time factor, as I mentioned a couple of weeks ago. Most of your positive points are going to take several months, possibly more, to impact the finances and therefore the balance sheet of AML. The sad fact is that the share price has pretty much halved in the three months since the war started and the markets are still somewhat nervous. The biggest question is whether the share price can hold up for long enough for the hostilities to abate and for some of this projected revenue to actually make an impact. Sadly Mr Stroll and no one on here knows the answer to that.
Can we get back to 7 quid today :-)
Averaging 6.14 here thanks cg for trying to put me off :/)))))
Great post Carpy and very informative. As I said before, he is not invested and clearly either short or being paid. I do not agree with others when they say it is not unusual to post so much on a board when not invested, it is. The odd post for sure, but he is relentless. The market is tough, lots of very reputable companies down, just need to stick with it. Stroll is no mug and he is extremely passionate about the motor trade.
Nice fact based post Carpy - thank you. Challenges now and moving forward including managing debt and funding product development, but as you rightly identify, reasons for some optimism moving forward. Businesses rarely travel in a straight line in one direction at speed.
We’ll done Carpy. I filtered ‘the muppets’ long ago and believe you and me, it’s so much better!! ;-))
Great post Carpymick
Thanks, Carpy for sharing the summary.
Great post and superb info, CrapyMick. You made my day. :) Thank you! :)
