Hi Gabriel good slogan not cheesy at all. I would have had more emphasis on :- assisting/ supporting /helping - people/communities to manage financial resources more effectively for a better future . - now that is cheesy lol
Cardinal59
Given your background, what were your thoughts on my slogan?
Amigo For the People
Owned By the People..
Maybe a bit cheesy lol
Plus I think part of his strategy is to welcome The Retail Investors
But it really is true, at the moment its all of us Retail Investors that own Amigo..
Gabriel, having worked in a consultancy role with CEO & Directors , i like the way he sets out his strategic vision, examines the issues and has a framework for action with short/mid term reasonable KPI's

My feelings were that Gary Jennison comes across as a genuine guy with Integrity.
He has already turned around 3 companies stating "I am here because I have done 3 turnarounds in my career".
And when I ask myself:
Would this man risk his Entire Reputation and life work as a corporate turnaround expert by letting number 4 be a failure?
I can't quite reconcile that Gary will do anything other than what he promises.
So mr roe has been approved by the reg body has he ??:)
Gabriel I watched his video this morning again and feel the same as your view
Hi Paul Anthony hope your prediction comes true tomorrow.
HeresHopin
Your brave getting a quote on 1 Million Shares at this price.
Let me guess on that volume they only offered you 8.81?
What if you double tapped and sold at this price!
Nooooo!
Thanks Gabriel. Yes I definitely think a lot of stop losses were hunted and taken out on Monday. Let’s wait and see, hopefully some big money has been coming in in the background as you say.
So what we have to look forward to RNS-wise to help with the business and share price is:
- Potential Tr1’s (still amazed nobody has taken a view to get above 3% yet, although there may be some guys sitting just below waiting)
- Complaints VReq (end of Oct)
- Relending due to, or has started (Early Nov or some time in Nov?)
- Half year results (by end of Nov)

Thank you Sir.

I must admit, I did too.
His Interview won my trust and I take him as a man of his word.
I do not think I am a gullible person and usually have a good judge of character from those with integrity through the spectrum to the sociopaths!

Hi.
The volume this week has been extremely healthy:
https://www.amigoplc.com/investors/share-price-centre
58 Million Monday
14 Million Tuesday
I suspect the with the RNS on Monday (That I feel was actually great News!), was used by the MM's to do a sweep of all the stop losses.
I counted at least 4 Million were swept up at 7.5p
With 58 Million traded in a day!
Someone swept these all up!
Yet the price has not moved in 2 days with the Iceberg Orders.
Sadly that was the day ST left us, I really hope the MM's did not sweep his 10 Million Shares at 7.5p with the old stop loss gag.
If the II's are buying they would have to report it I think within 2 or 3 days.
So fingers crossed we will get 2 X RNS.
Institutional Buys + Lending Date.
I know wishful thinking, but I am invested after all & I am intrigued by any reasoning or speculation.
Just sharing my thoughts...
Traded vela and come back to the Buggers robing me an extra 0.14p / share over the indicated spread, now I’m just shy of a nice rounded off Total figure. these Banking fees For instant deposits to amigo bank plc are becoming expensive, might have to use snail mail next time.
Hi Gabriel
RNS news should come within the next month. I am expecting some new / existing shareholding increases, given the size of some of these trades over the last week or so. an RNS with an update on complaints and trading re-commencement for sure. I think it would be quite timely within the first month of office, from Mr G Jennison. Truth be told, my initial response to you would have been, I have no idea. . . but when I thought about it, I came up with the above.
Gabriel. I really liked the way he came across on the video.
Ex no. Wednesday is my trading day. I was mostly filing my tax return so much more interesting on here and seems pretty civil.today which is good.
There is a good chance of a blue finish today - if not a higher price start in the morning.
Twisty - I won't complain if you have steered me right. I will try to get on this new fangled video tellybone when Seamus invites me. Video conferencing LSE members : ) Whatever next????
Stop complaining Ex, on to a winner today surely. Spoke to Seamus today via newfangled video tellybone so that's 2 of you at least that I know for a fact that live in the real world. I'm interested in all these theories, it does feel that the SP is being suppressed pending news, right down in the bones. Be kind of stupid to not hold on for the next couple of RNSs.

The 2nd of November would make sense.
I really feel that Gary should give the staff a few weeks to adjust.
I am sure they have been through enough this year like the rest of us without a "Baptism Of Fire" 3 weeks before Christmas!
Surely they deserve more than that?
GCN - Good to see you back - Hee Hee. Did I tweek any nerves during our convo last night???
As for you - Mark, Seamus and Twisty - cost me a fortune you do!!!!! : ) So guess who got in to Vela this lunch time???!!! No wonder I don't have any money left for food - it's all on AMGO, DTG, VELA and OMI!!!! Food parcels to Leeds please - ASAP!!! : )
Based on Gabriels theory, I suspect/hope we'll see an aggressive advertising campaign begin within days.
Greatcrestednewt
Thank you for your input.
I do think that if any Institutional Investors saw Gary Jennison you tube video and takes him as a man of his word
(I certainly do)
It would explain a turning point for their renewed interest in Amigo, and reading between the lines, anticipating an RNS like us Retail Investors.
With an RNS to confirm this I have a good feeling this will cause a domino effect & many more II's will get on board .
Finally there will be a good chance of a Re Rate to this shares true value...
Gabriel - would this II be reported all at once then when it’s gone through if it is? I ask but the sceptical side of me just thinks it’s low volume that means the price isn’t moving.
With regards to restarting lending - I personally think it would be a big missed opportunity if we aren’t ready by early December, and surely GJ/BoD know this too. So I think with their statements about relending before year end, and timing of backlog of complaints by end of October (maybe this slips a little but who knows because they haven’t told us anything yet!), it’s not unreasonable to think we should be ready to go before the end of November, maybe sooner if we’re lucky
