Well done li, I wished I had taken profits in all my other shares, thanks for being honest with the price as well. You weren't convinced to stay even with the holding rns,s? I can see you are not deramping, just as I don't deramp shares I am in, have been in, its just you get the muppets coming out and sagging you off, but if you put a message out you have bought siht loads then all the recommendations come out!! Anyway, good luck in whatever you decide.
exactly jonno....and everyones situation is different..my ave is circa 7p....my situation allows me to be more flexible than those with an average of say 20p
I'd be cautious with that strategy, the SP might likely spike after the court case and comeback if the FCA impose a large fine or other restirctions on Amigo. Unfortunately its not as simple as get the sanction and the SP wil come an unstoppable force.
There are many more hurdles which can bring it up and down.
Saying that, the last court case did not cause the sp to rise immediately so there is an arguement to say you might be able to sell before and buyback after at a similar price and avoid the risk of the sp dropping to FA.
So perhaps theres a good change your strategy will work

It's called balanced view and an interesting discussion, not every little thing is about ramping or de-ramping.
Ignore the haters LI, I for one am happy to engage in a conversation which has more depth than "£1 by next week" or "Bust and into administration".
My personal view is that the minimal risk here is worth it, and I've actually increased my holding today, but I totally understand the other side of the coin.
ahhh jester ...so discussion is only ok if it agrees with your point of view??? all i was doing is reply to other posts ...im so sorry if that is dissagreeable to you ...my apologies
@jester16 this is a public forum, not a 'only post when you buy' forum.
I have no problem with telling people when I sell as long as they don't reramp.
Just sell then don't advertise it.
@shaggers54 and theres nothing wrong with that! Who cares if the share price tanks by 30%? By Wednesday (when the judge gives the go-ahead) it will rocket!
Take some profit and then load in next week!
I think people are just a bit too greedy, but fair enough, we all have our reasons.
exactly londoninvestor .....im currently @ +215% i also am considering taking some profits as a bit of protection in the unlikely event things go wrong....court cases can be highly unpredictable ......and if some consider this deramping so be it .....i consider it to be prudent
Wait what?! Deramping?!?! Have you ever seen a deramper say this share will probably multibag!?!?! Lol! Well that's a new one on me!
I'm not giving any advice to people, all I said was that I'm selling and will buy back in after Wednesday.
Yes... I'll get less profit... yes... I'll have to buy in at a higher price... but once Amigo starts lending, this could go above £2.00 and beyond!
For me (and I'm quite risk averse), its not worth the risk holding shares before Wednesday in the VERY UNLIKELY event that the judge agrees with the FCA.
As I said, I wish everyone holding all the luck, and I'm looking into being back in this time next week to reap the rewards!
Insiderknowledge let them troll this time next week they all long gone when we get the approval let them have fun till next week
nothing wrong with a bit of top slicing IMO.....everyone situation is different so why critisize someone for doing someing that is not in your own agenda??? so the folk who sold some at its peak a few days ago then bought back in at c19 were stupid???....i say good luck to all whatever their strategy
So you sold at 23.96, now regret selling so trying to nudge others into selling as you realise you sold on the cheap?
You do realise you will be buying back in at double the price and so your "profit" will be worth 50% less when you rebuy.
If you are out, don't bother trolling London it is pathetic to see.
The problem LI is you won t get to jump back in as there won t be any available stock. Hence you should hold on to your golden tickets. Just my adivce.
IMHO this won't be in the 40s until after next Wednesday, I actually think it will struggle to hit the 30s until then.
But after Wednesday it could multibag wants the court case is over.
The profit I sold this morning I won't be putting anywhere else and am saving for when the Judge gives this the greenlight. Then I'll jump back in! (and I'm looking forward to it :) ).
Until then, just wasn't quite worth the risk.
Londinium......
Maybe you won't be able to buy back in next Thursday in the 30s/40s !!!
Just a thought... ;-)
I'll come back in after Wednesday when it gets approved by the judge!
I feel that this is just the start and whilst I won't get in cheap, this share has years to go and happy to buy in at the 30s/40s on Thursday!
Thought I would take the profit in the very unlikely event that the Judge agrees with the FCA or prolongs the case.
