I would take everything JB tells you on Twitter with a pinch of salt.
If he’s making moves in the background, you will only know what he wants you to know.
Like expru said could you buy in the background using different companies to stay under the threshold?
It will all come out in the wash, patience is key
Night Harry - Hasta Manana : )
ExP,
Ants and baby ants are all over the patio all week... This Hot weather perhaps.
Cant even kip outside.
Most important - Fig tree doing well though.
Any buy order that exceeds a threshold has to be declared under rules. Sure fill it, but you don’t just declare you own Arsenal one morning ...
5%, 10%...etc.
I’ll read up on rules, when this is over.
Good night all.
Figgy - where u off to - under your bed????????? : )
ExP,
Not really bothered if he is buying back or not, sp is still 8p. The MM’s could also be ones of holders who voted against him.
Anyway...
Only a few days before the Amigo roadshow kicksoff.
I hear thunder..Rain is a coming!
Offski!
It’s a broker who is selling 1 % a day as agreed. JB was open in his tweet:
He is not aware of anyone buying other than Pl’s .
All in JB’s opinion.
I think he’s selling a large quantity in one hit per day driving the price down and panicking PI to also sell then buying a certain quantity per day to keep the price where he wants it to be.
Doesn’t have to buy the same amount back what he’s sold per day. He’ll be making money out of this and end up with the same shareholding. When he wants the price to shoot up he’ll buy more that day.
All my opinion
Sunset - it all depends where the shares are going. can market makers hoard shares without it affecting the price, (limbo) - prices are moving up and down in small increments daily and the open and close differences I think are negligible. the chart looks like trumps signature.
I am a long way from being expert on this but out of the mouths of babes and all that!!!!!
There are 16 active Ltd companies, 15 at Richmond Hill and 1 address elsewhere where JB is or was M.D. or CEO.
Busy Boy!!!!!!!!!!!! : )
Richmond Group Ltd has 7 subsidiaries and 2 branches - I still maintain JB is selling and buying back straight away and keeping the shares hiddy somehow. SO - I agree with Yuri - am I turning to the dark side????????????
I asked the question regarding a different company a while back and someone who seemed to know what they was talking about seemed to think the same with regard to you place an order for 10% say if a company and you don’t have to declare untill the order is filled! It was pretty convoluted but he explained how you can get to 15% completely under the radar!
JamesT1 - they don't have an obligation to declare if it doesn't cross 4.99% threshold, for 61%/13=4.69%, therefore you need only 13 entities (persons or companies, trusts, friends, of more complex schema) to stay under the radar and still stay in control even while publicly selling, it's not cheating - just asymmetrically disclosing only one side of information, the rest is how people interpret data, therefore integrity/trust is not broken, fair play, nothing wrong about it.
I read on another board that if he had a buy order with a broker he doesn’t have to declare until the order has been filled.
If this is true he could just be buying them straight back into another company through his broker then declare when filled.
There’s always ways around agreements just look how Kevin McCabe lost control of Sheff Utd!
FigTreeHarry,
I guess a whole batch of fresh and shiny ltd's formed in January
(right before 1% sale announcement) at same address means nothing, right?
Hint: check for companies prefixed with RGA** and RG** ( * is digit ), e.g. RGA23 Limited, etc.
Simples.
Done -
- green splat!!
Figtreeharry just swat yuri the Mosquito away
Yuri,
What do you mean: Major holder claims he's selling..?
JB selling is publicy noted and the reasoning is due to non voting rights until Richmond Group reaches sub 10%.
So i don’t understand why you state cleims he is selling. - Yes he has to sell, and the rns states it everyday.
I do not think he is buying back just yet. Under the Rules you have to declare if you have a holding of 3-5%. Can’y recall latest threshold now.
That's one of a red flags with amgo - hardly any director is invested here, practically everyone is after salary only and on a short-term.
SW has sold a lot, Nayan is not buying except for contract transfers as shares.
GC is exception with white-bone throwing at 6%.
Major holder claims he's selling.
It seems there's no firm controlling power in this company.
Who's left? Out of big ones MIC&Aber (22% combined?), then some retail HL/etc.
If rumors are true (a bit unlikely) with JB indirectly still holding 61% then total of those above without retail is roughly 61+22+6+2=91% (the rest in hands of mm/retail)
