Then you mentioned it was your birthday this morning.
Nope, but Fletch mentioned it was your birthday earlier on the thread.
Vorag - R U N Fletch talking about me??? : )
Continental Drift it did, but along with the whole market (so a bit allowable). Fletch, I confirmed today ExPru was taken out by his Ladywife for birthday Pizza!
The vote brings much uncertainty - buying after the vote will be a good trading opportunity, buying before it a gamble.
Either party wins / loses and supporters of the loser will sell stock.
FCA approval / disapproval for Glen or Jonathan will happen at any time. - this will be a good trading opp.
Claims backlog update by end of October - good trading opp.
Restart lending - good trading opp.
Rearranged financing - good trading opp.
Quarterly results - good trading opp.

Yes but I said what I was thinking before selling so I’ve not sold and then gone seeking to justify it! I will refrain from posting until/if I buy back in.
Like I said people that do their research and want to dump a covid affected share, could look at Amigo especially with all that’s going on, and Richmond I agree the votes nearly here FOMO will kick in people wanting to get in before.
Fingers crossed!!!!!!!!!
Come on Amigo xxx
Clintek it’s not deramping I sold to use the capital elsewhere and will look to getting back in but I don’t see what’s going to move the sp before the vote? Given that everything in the recent faq was already known and that despite 1% a day selling pressure being lifted there has been no bounce in the sp I can use my capital better elsewhere.
Now if you know of a reason why I’m wrong I’m all ears and will set my buy order for 8am ... but I don’t see anything happening before the vote.
29.9k @ 8.32
Yes Bruce, In my opinion this is a possibility, I mean let’s face it Amigo are not really affected by covid, their lending is already restricted and they are going through a transition with all that’s going on( when they do start lending, the covid situation will actually help demand).
Think of all the company’s that are going to struggle again during the second wave; pubs, restaurant’s,travel companies, airlines the list goes on, potentially people could sell out of those in to this, especially with all the news at the moment on the vote and JB buying 29% if he wins ?????!
Will see good luck Monday Amigos .
Sorry to hear that Mark, you were always so positive and now I can just read some subtle deramping lines..(understandably).
Hope you get back in with more than you sold. Good luck and ill keep reading your posts, ill know when you're back in, your tone changes within your writing.
Brucy,
Lending restart will be announced in Amigo interim results - Likely on Nov 20th. (Thereabouts..)
However Q2 - Results Notice
- typically 1 week prior
i.e. Nov 13th - may indicate further clue.
FAQ - First Question response is lending: By end of year.
Nov- Dec likly date.
Someone else posted on here that it is due to restart January I assumed they got it from the amgo faq that was posted the other day.
Clintek yes I did long term my view hasn’t changed but between now and the vote actually happening it has the bounce should have happened by now and I don’t see anything to suggest it will before the vote that is.
Timmy - Very interesting take on the possibility of funds being taken out of the higher impacted stocks for the upcoming second wave of Covid !! Could be a surge of new money rolling in for AMIGO time !! Ariba Ariba .... UNDERLAY
Fig- We need someone on the inside . Can’t wait for this date to be released when officially lending again to everyone other than just the key workers that currently are being helped .
Roll on Monday 8am
GLA
Clint haha I agree people sound so different when they’ve sold, I’m guilty of it all so I’m not saying anything lol.
But I believe if people realise Amigo aren’t really affected by this second, ie their only lending to key worker’s and working through the claims ect, the price should rise Monday I hope.
Also remember payment holidays were extended to the 31st of October, so Amigo are nearly there one more month then payments start again .
And again when they do start fully lending I can see a big market for the company’s product.( just be astute with the checks )
Come on Amigo plough through those Covid fears tomorrow, again you never know people could take money out of companies heavily affected by covid and put it in to Amigo.
Sea of blue tomorrow please my Amigos..
Agree Bruce,
There are tech system updates which form part of new scorecards and other criteria. Such additional information will form part of internal software/ code updates. Part of Business Change Management. With a Go-live - cut-of typically end of year. Follow a pattern. Example of iterations:
Nov 15th
Dec 1st
Dec 13th
Fig
I would consider ‘the end of this year ‘ to mean late November / December time .
Where does it say ‘ next year ‘ ?
Thanks peeps
This time next year rodney!
From Amigo Website :
When will Amigo restart lending?
As we announced at our Q1 results at the end of August, the Board and Glen are preparing to restart lending on a prudent basis by the end of 2020.
Mark,
Where does it say lending will start next year? Can you post please.
Thanks
I honestly believe it will climb next week, it won't make me rich but will slowly climb.
If J.B gets in and buys 29% we all know the price will shoot up i think people will slowly start buying early next week and the buying will increased until the votes are in.
If its positive and people wait until the 29th it will be all to late to get in low.
My first ramp I guess but I'm more confident this week than last week.
Average 12.8p
Though I'm only doing that to keep myself interested - would be bored for the next week or so if I did nothing :)
I'm probably going to try to trade it a little this week if I see an opportunity but keeping the bulk in place. Risky but, hey, that's my name ; )
