Mouse
It was in today's Proactive News so I thought it relevant. I was unaware it was posting old news as usually it is bang up to date.
Apologies
Something has happened. After closure it just went to 15.28 to buy. According to info on my HL account.
this stock classic pump and dump twice caught out by this and all the ramping , id like to see a post based on facts about how this is valued and why its worth more , there's a lot of its going ups on here but what are the actual facts , anybody like to share ?
One figure is 3 months, one 6, isn't it?
or were 2,533 complains written off due to being false/double claims?
If the Ombudsman says there were 10,321 complaints, how did Amigo get 12.854? does it mean 12 nearly 13 complaints or are the figures just completely jumbled :/
"According to the ombudsman, there were 10,321 complaints about guarantor loans between October and December 2020 compared with just 303 in the same period in 2019.
In the second six months of 2020, Amigo received 12,854 complaints or an increase of more than 3,000% from the second half of 2019."
kernolad, all of that has already been part of an article posted on the HL page on the 25th March and even before that it was known.
Blimey how many more times is this going to be posted. Those complaints most of which are people chancing their arms, have grown because of CMC's. Most of these claims will be sent packing as they just don't have a case.
It’s so sad that majority of posts in these groups are just people *****ing like a bunch of school girls. Who cares if MOD bought at 9p and sold at 19p, does it really affect our bank balance? I am sure the share price is not decided on a bunch of people coming on to this board and advising whether to buy or sell. My personal advise is set yourself a target and be happy with what you make. Let’s all hope for a rise tomorrow and if not then let’s hope that in the long term the share rises and make those who are invested some return. Good luck to all Amigos :)
apologies for the double posting but it appeared the first didn't go through
Only a concern if you are selling....or want 10p to get back in....
This may provide part of the answer
Amigo has become the UK’s most complained about financial firm according to new data from Financial Ombudsman Services, which has seen a surge in cases about guarantor loans.
Bournemouth-based Amigo specialises in this type of product where a family or friend underwrites loans for people who otherwise might struggle to borrow money.
According to the ombudsman, there were 10,321 complaints about guarantor loans between October and December 2020 compared with just 303 in the same period in 2019.
While this covered several providers, Amigo is the largest supplier of these type of loans and received the most complaints.
In the second six months of 2020, Amigo received 12,854 complaints or an increase of more than 3,000% from the second half of 2019.
It is the first time in 13 years that Payment Protection Insurance (PPI) did not receive the most complaints, the Ombudsman service said.
Amigo’s problems and its attempts to deal with them have been well-publicised, which has led to its loan book shrinking, lower revenues and a loss before tax of £81.3mln in the nine months to end December 2020.
To help resolve the situation, Amigo has proposed a Scheme of Arrangement process to give it certainty on the final complaints liability for all complaints on loans issued to date.
“If the scheme does not proceed, the high level of complaints could mean that Amigo becomes insolvent,” it said.
“We have faced very serious challenges from the high level of complaints received about our historical lending, a significant number driven by claims management companies which have included many invalid claims.”

For PIs, yes it would be, but I wouldn't be surprised to not see one and then to get another big shake tomorrow morning.
No RNS tomorrow and it could get trickier. It's all on the court and vote anyway
Will drop again tomorrow.
A TR1 post-close would be nice to settle a few jitters.
you'll be waiting for a while LOL
Mouse, Wasn't contradicting, you know how quickly it changes.... I'll be topping up but not yet.
People selling at these prices just doesn't make any sense, they will miss out big time.....
wait for the 10p then there will be 1 more big and final push north.
up to 15 again, right now on HL
Nowt to hold it up in to the close. Kinda thought today was going to be tricky but at 6p I didn't think we'd be at 14p so soon. It's just caused it's dipped from 19p that there's stress. Obvz wish I'd traded now but you never know
Laverockbank I write "(right now...)" that means, the moment I type it. AFter that it can move, but at that time the info was correct according to being logged into my HL account.
I'm going to wait & top up more...
