Just voted NO, 950k shares. Phew, HSBC said they needed 4 days to send in the proxy vote so just in time :)
Sorry Maverick, just sold out.
Anyone any thoughts on why the ask price is now higher than the current offer/buyout deal?
We can only hope for another twist in the end game as she's practicing her scales.
Totally agree Awstin
I believe tomorrow is D-day in terms of one month since original RNS, I am also led to believe that no bids / counter offers can be submitted after 15th December.
Has AMER got one more surprise for the brave soles who are still holding 'It ain't over, until the fat lady sings'
Maverick - I have no idea but someone is buying at 19p. For profit or voting power?
I can't speak for other brokers but HL nominees which is 5-10% of the shares requires positive affirmation from shareholders to vote in favour and the scheme requires 75% of all votes rather than votes cast so all is not lost.
Well the RNS was out on the 15th Nov which means the month is up tomorrow ! So, question is :- could a late bid still actually happen ?
Still not to late for those with nominee accounts to vote NO just phone your broker/bank and instruct them to vote NO for all your shares!
who sent me a copy of a letter they have sent to FCA. Will be intrigued and let all on bulletin board know if he gets a reply.
Look at the Director buying over the past year or more. At 19p they ALL make a bomb! No wonder they opted for a cash deal regardless of investors. Take a note of their names, guys
Two weeks they say they need to provide a letter to attend. Did my grovelling yesterday.
Many thanks for the information - appreciated, will keep you informed If i am going !
R U going to the meeting?
This is from the official scheme doccument:
"Notices of the Court Meeting and the Amerisur General Meeting, both of which are to be held at the offices of Ashurst LLP, London Fruit & Wool Exchange, 1 Duval Square, London, E1 6PW on 19 December 2019"
I thought the vote / meeting was tomorrow ! can someone please confirm location / time etc as I really would like to attend !
How is this even possible if the vote isn't until next Thursday......this whole process stinks
So did I but have just been on the phone to them and told them to vote NO on all the shares I own in amerisur.
SOUNDS AS IF THIS IS A DONE DEAL
Today, LITERALLY 5 MINUTES AGO, just received a letter from HSBC Invest Direct stating that this is a done deal, it states:
''shareholders at the close of business on 15th January 2020 will have their stock converted into cash, on the following basis:
You'll receive GBP £0.1921 for every ordinary share held in Amerisur Resources Plc,
Proceeds from the Exchnange are due to be paid on or around the 30th January 2020,
Please Note: that trading in shares of Amerisur Resources PLC will be suspended from 13th January 2020 to allow completion of this event ''
I am holding till they pay the cash to us on or around 30 January,(says my bank who hold my shares). Why incur a cost to sell ? Let the robbers do the work, I say.
I've had these for ten years. If I hold now, after the vote, will the 19.2 offer apply? Or should I sell now at 18 something? After this action, the shares will be what, diluted by new owners, go up/down? Sorry for ignorance, I don't do much share work, this is first time in one of these weird sales (since all say undervalued).
Yes me too, holding and voted No but willing to take 19.2p if the deal rolls through and will walk away with a modest profit on what was a very risky punt. Disappointed if that occurs because I suspect we are being sold on the cheap but not much we can do about it. Sit on your cash and don't invest in stocks until after the main global markets have dropped 50%?
But do not feel it will be a higher offer. Believe the offer will not get approval and Geopark will not increase offer but wait for the sp to subside and then buy on the open market. I hope that the bod get the full works at the next meeting as totally full of **** as indicated by their statements and actions.
had enough.
thanks for the informative chat.
all the very best.
now to recoup losses..
