Kodal Minerals is doing quite well. Any of you old boys / girls in?
Ha ha! Yes that was the one.
"Hi Wand I think you are referring to Bethany3"
Correct.

Good to see you are still about Isphahan. Now all we need is Aberdeen Man and Geela.
Who was the one that was gonna be waving her knickers on the street corner? I forgot aswell.
Lol
Hi Geng, Nice to see you hanging in too. I think I remember you as the God of the Gaps. Or may may I got this wrong, you have no idea what advancing age does to one's memory. Yes, at some point I had 1% of the company's shares. Sadly enough I have still got them. 12p is my average cost so you can see why I have given up on AMC. My old friend SASA mentioned that he had some hope in "TB". I am sure he is not talking about some dreadful decease . I don't even know who TB is, -that is how much I have put this share on ignore.
ATB.....(Yes, I think I know what ATB stands for).
Wow Isphahan - hope you are well and where have you been and do you still have your massive holding?
Hope you're patient then!
I've only been invested here for about 20 months so I suppose that makes me a relative newbie. Anyway, my original plan was to sell at about 20p. Might this be the start of the final trek into the promised land?

Hi Isphahan - good to hear from you and hope you're keeping well.
I haven't entirely given up on AMC but like you and most of the VLTHs on here, we're quite captive with the sp so much in the basement. Ergo, I've mentally 'written it off' until something happens to either galvanise the price or bring an end to this marathon, as being unproductive in the event.
Given the value of what Amur is sitting on / the increasing demand for such A1 battery material, with Cu being so sought after now, too and the other peripherals, I can't really believe that it'll remain undeveloped for much longer. The NPV calc I re - worked the other day remains very impressive, even though its relevance is rather eschewed by some.
I hope TB might yet have a 'cunning plan' to surprise us all or something else occurs to end the present 'stalemate' - we'd all welcome that, for sure! ATB - sasa.
Hi Isphahan,we seem to all still be hear for the reasons you mentioned.A phrase that was once used to describe a one hit wonder singer song writer called Don McLean seems to fit Amc perfectly and springs to mind frequently and fits RY “He is a man with a very promising past”

The Nickle price - then.... Can I even remember when "then" was? Like SASA I am also one of the VVLTH.
SASA , are you also still clinging on? I keep being reminded by my broker that I have not looked at my shareholding for a very long time. It is because I have given up in AMC.
It's just not worth selling at theses levels, - just in case..... It is indeed the most disappointing share "investment" I have ever made, and I own several millions of them. My biggest mistake ,which is no doubt shared with others, is to have had believe in the £1 party .
Please note I was ment to say NRR and not NNR

I Agree AMC has been very challenging for us all and this delay in delivering the TEO has not helped but then again the Covid Situation has not helped.
At least we do not need to build anymore ice roads, drill more holes, analyse more ore, or do anymore bulk samples, we know now exactly what we have and can be produced from it. We have Memorandoms of Corporation with global experts in place including GEFCO LLC. More or less everyone is aware of AMC globally and the resources we have and from recents RNS we know AMC are in talks with a respected offtaker to put something in place once the TEO is completed.
Once the TEO is complete we should get access to some russian funding with infrastructure and Russian's are very much interested in developing this project.
We did the blue print many years ago, we have completed the PFS and now we are Moving to complete the TEO wich is so much more promising compared to the PFS, as you know the current price of nickel and copper have increased significantly along with the other by products & there's also mention of Gold and Silver in the TEO. Our resource has increased significantly with a potential mine life being increased 24 years to a maximum of 41 years.
The bulk sample was completed by ( Gipronickel a subsidiary of Norilsk Nickel ) we have Nickel and copper concentrates now available which will have a material impact on (NPV & IRR )
Our project is well suited for the EV market
We have the latest design and costing of the the access road wich has come down significantly.
This is a Strategic Asset AMC own 100% and is Debt free. We now also have a share in NNR wich is generating revenue.
Base line environment assessment complete, Hydrological assessment complete, Rock mechanics complete, just need a few more Documents to be completed by the russian Authorities for the TEO to be completed hopefully it's not too long now (and those who have a dig at Robin Young should realise he can not produce those documents any sooner than when they are ready and I'm sure like all of us he wants this TEO completed ASP) there are projects around the world that have been delayed for several years due to covid.. no one expected this.
AMC has a come a long way from building Ice Roads and digging holes in the ground in my opinion all the Hard work needed to be done over the years has been done though it has taken a lot longer than one had anticipated and if one really sits down and actually researches & anlysis this company in detail will see it's TRUE value.
We have a world class Asset wich is in good demand right now and I believe we LTH will be rewarded soon
Hi gwm - just seen your post re: AAU / FRES and POLY...
I came out of AAU some ten years ago now and am in no position to comment on it today, unfortunately. FRES I also ditched a couple of years back, as their prod. probs increased and reinvested in POLY which I still regard as the best 'goldie' given their much better achievements over time and reliable divd paying record which you're also interested in, seemingly. A 5.5% yield in these mkts today, is quite a 'rare bird' and If gold has another run, the Instos should rapidly return to this FTSE 100 constituent, I'd say...
I also like BRWM for stability / spread of pms and base metals / steady divds, too and PUR for anticipated excitement in the gold space as they get their production underway now. With a very low AISC of $787 per oz. currently, their op. margin is very impressive with 50k Au ozs being the initial annual target when fully up and running. A mining friendly jurisdiction also adds to the appeal...
As for AMC, this has been the most trying investment I've ever encountered and that's endorsed by all the VLTHs on here, I'm sure! Where we're at with this very valuable nickel sulphide discovery, I've no idea currently, tbh but its significance today has never been more desirable than it is now.
Just hope that, if the Ni price continues to trend towards $10 per lb (quite possible in view of the demands of the 'green revolution' in all its forms getting underway in earnest) with AMC having some 2m tons of Ni equiv. of the most desirable stuff must really be worth monetising at some point.
Whether that's via a JV or an approach for the entire from a major group like Norilsk (my best guess) if Amur can't manage to do it on its own, is moot but right now, 'hope springs...' is all that I can lamely say at this juncture, I'm afraid. ATB - sasa.
nickle 8.2, has been rising a while
sulphide /or battery grade nickle is sold at a higher price, (ry said at a meeting years ago prices agreed behind locked doors so not known)
years ago ry said enough metal now, we will stop drilling for more, nickle then 4 and a bit.
Why would board not trickle some news out to get the price to a reasonable level prior to "production/teo" or t/o j/v ??????
Sasa..
re diversity, do you know anything about aau versus fres versus poly?
whats your take on amur board not doing interviews not buying shares, no shouting from the rooftops, almost as if they want the share price low. ry seemed very personable and honest years ago at meetings, often stayed behind to chat to shareholders, said the longer time goes on the more a suitor would have to pay !! If no newsflow and peeps dont understand what the company is doing/planning new buyers will have a hard time deciding to buy in.
