Hi ForrestGum,
" hope that he is doing good work" does not really work for me as an investor - I would like to be reasonably assured that he does and I am far from convinced. I am probably wrong on that, time will tell. Looks laid back, has put
on weight, not sure he is in control of our destiny, just my impression
The only thing that has happened behind the scenes is Mr Young has managed to regain a bit of weight.I am not sure if he looked relaxed or wheather he did n’t show a lot of snap.
At least the long overdue TEO is in.It now seems we’ve got another wait on our hands.
Oh well the never ending story continues.

FG,
If he gave 10 interviews, I could say he is showing care towards shareholders. As things stand, I am not sure whether us (S/H) are on his priority list.
I agree with your comment around having something in the ground and in him making us money, that's what we are all here for.
Astar. RY could have given 10 interviews this year, but then what did he have to tell us? True, he earns a very good salary. We just have to hope that he's doing good work behind the scenes to make him, and us, a descent profit. On the condition, of course, that we actually have something in the ground that can be extracted and processed to turn a profit.

".. RY seemed a bit less stressed in comparison to previous interviews."
Change the tune, how many times have we heard people say did you see that wink, he smiled, he did this, that and the other along with he looks very confident that something is brewing.....
As for him looking confident, any CEO would, even when they know they have nothing material to say. He gets paid approx $330K per year, this is his first interview in 2021 (if I am not corrected).
Poor performance, in my view.
I have watched the interview a couple of times .. RY seemed a bit less stressed in comparison to previous interviews.
Re the content:
- The power line and the 2 lane road are so that the Russians can establish the largest possible reserve. Hence we will not need to go back to them in a 2 - 3 years. Seems good news.
- The nickel price being used for the TEO is $6.16. Copper price $2.70. Current prices are $2.70 and $4.45. Presumably RY is telling us that the Project is viable at the lower price.
- New Rail bridge - Shortens the rail route by approx 1000km. Seems good news. Hopefully we will see a reduction in transport costs or it could be one for the future.
- TEO Updates - Series of updates in Q4 2021.
- BFS - apparently a lot of the work for the TEO can be pushed fwd into the BFS. The BFS was due to cost $13m - So has the TEO cost a lot. I do not believe that we have ever been given a cost. The H1 accounts will give a fair idea.
- Precussor products - We may look at them? We are looking at them? Need some more detail.
What the interview does lack is any sense of timeline or any sense that they are speaking to anyone. If I look into the accounts of the big miners the strategy in terms of purchases is very clear. The boxes that they need to be ticked are very clear. What boxes is RY ticking.

As I mentioned a few weeks ago during the C1 cost discussions and why I won’t put any detailed numbers out there is because there are obviously major changes to the PFS of which we have not got a clear enough picture yet. This was clear in the recent cost numbers.
I also mentioned that capex could potentially have moved into the costs, which I now believe has occurred and is one of the reasons that the detailed TEO information has not been released.
(i.e. the noticeable shift in Capex breakdown would let the cat out of the bag prior to an official announcement)
During the interview RY referenced favourable infrastructure implementation in the region and then out of nowhere we have shifted to a Power Line and Dual Lane Road (Single Lane per PFS and no benefit to AMC spending another circa $100m making it Dual).
We don’t have current numbers but these 2 changes could add an extra $380m to capex and as RL points out, the TEO submittal RNS still states circa $1bn.
So, my view is that 1 or both of the below will occur.
A deal is being done to move all or most of the power line out of Capex and into cost, recoverable through the useage charges.
A deal is being done to move all or most of the dual lane road out of capex and into cost, recoverable on a toll type basis.
Am looking forward to RY releasing more numbers
Red/Rosy. I, as always, bow down to you for being one of the most knowledgeable, IMO, voices on the message boards. I was actually hoping that you'd give the interview a thumbs-up!!!
I'll keep my shares save in the bottom drawer, now that I've read you intial comment.

FG,
Your post has NOT been deleted!
It hasn’t been deleted I can still see it
Strange that my last post has been deleted, considering I own £30k's worth of shares. Might someone not like hearing that we most likely won't make any, real, money for at least another year?
Ok, gave in and had a listen.
All sounded a bit desperate to me, hes gone from 'we are going to see this all the way to production' to 'please someone come and buy us'.
SP in a bit of a short term downward channel at the moment, if it doesn't breakout then looks like around 1.65 - 1.7 for support.
Sounds like RY is keen to sell the deposit. Nickel and copper prices are flying. But can't see the share price moving until the certification of the TEO. Work for the BFS is being done, to be finished after confirmation of the TEO. Methinks it will be about 12 months before we make some money. Red/ Roses Lee might care to differ - I hope not!!!

Couldn't agree more Joe Bass
Thank you!
His probably in the same group as of that 'Towner' guy
Further more,
More fool you if you believe anything RY says in any format.
Check his history. He certainly would never pass a polygraph test on many things AMC.
How does someone voicing their opinion, be it +/-, constitute having shares or not ?
Is it prerequisite to have shares before you post here ?
I am a S/H and hold 2.8m shares
Just because I am a S/H, I am not going to take what he says at face value. Been there, got the T-shirt and everything else that goes with it.
I take it, you're not a shareholder then?
Thanks for posting.
Heard him talk like this over the years, nothing he said convinces me. Dont expect any major news until well into 2022.
Things are slow and will remain slow….
We may be sold by 2030…
