ad2017 - Yeah and think of all the money they paid themselves and the amount of amazing value they distrubuted back to the stock. Er.....
Like most. Giving them to the end of the month to come up with the CF news. If a no show I'm going to start dumping this.
RelativeValues...the AGM last year had the same resolution to approve..and its the same this year
John, what aren't you understanding?
Every year you will see the same resolution at the AGM about issuing shares. I can't find last years but I can bet they had the same resolution of £75,000 nominal shares of 0.001p. Shares outstanding before the last AGM was 126.335M, from Annual reports its now 201.635M. Equates to an increase of 75M shares.
They get permission at each AGM so that they can issue shares and dont have to get share holder approval each time they want to, sometimes you will also see they waive rights for shareholders so that they don't have to offer shareholders the option/chance to be involved in each raise. Alpha had a limit of shares they could issue this year and they just managed to do it, last month. They didnt issue the whole lot the day after the last AGM.
Also, we know they need to raise 2m shares, I haven't seen Doc's posting on twitter but he most likely is foreshadowing that raise and pointing it out to holders.
Tyfoon - I have an average of 1.75 at around £150k worth. So no, I'm not short, I've never shorted a stock.
What I do, however, look for are the early signs of 'bad behaviour' by boards and have been balled out before on boards, only months later for people to be bleeting on about 'If only we'd had seen the sign earlier'.
As far as I'm concerned , I'm willing to forgive the lateness of the CF announcement as legal things can often delay but pushing out a dodgy website update on a Friday afternoon without an RNS is an initial strike in my book.
Lets hope they redeem themselves with an RNS tomorrow.
As for the AGM. See you there.
Ophidian I suspect John112334 isn’t very tall, in fact I’d put money on him being short
john whether you like it or not, whether intentionally or not - you played your part and you are STILL doing it. As ye sew.....
Ophidian
agree richken, negativity on this board has started from the missing rns for the agm (not a big deal) and i would say has caused a few to sell and made people panic about algw.
rns on the 2nd dec was solid as you like that the credit facility is basically all but signed. PATIENCE
I see some the posters on this board would panic after coughing, thinking they had bubonic plague! What is all this crazy talk about! These protocols are standard AGM motions as Ophidian has explained.
I think the majority of holders here are focused on the next RNS being focused on the funds and this will give the SP a huge upward movement. People should not be selling today, they should be buying into this crazy sentiment. Come on guys wake up!
This is going to be a strong mover very soon upwards. Focus on the upside and stop talking yourselves into insanity.
Don’t forget Mez2’s post.
Yeah, because I made the SP drop by 20%.
Maybe there's something in bringing out a nice market facing and explanatory AGM RNS afterall.
It's a common courtesy that is followed by many companies for a reason.
andy - I wholley agree but for the fact he has 7000 followers (not sure why). I think the guys is well out of order.
He did however seem to have inside knowledge about 'a raise' early doors Friday and started to band about a 2p figure. Low and behold, the company release (via the website) an AGM notice with raise resolution in it. The problem is , he has a lot of people who follow him and support his shenanigans.
John
Since when have you taken any notice from that idiot Doc come on the guys an absolute fool and got proven
GLA
Doesn't look like it Andy but I do feel somewhat poorer today.
As for the SP I think it will continue to drift downwards until further news is forthcoming.
This is clearly being taken down to Doc Holiday's 2p raise price that he was banding about on Twitter on Friday.
Bounce back this afternoon soaking up pretty well
