I think it's fair to say, the directors have an opportune time to buy and should buy, and they will know how we feel judging by the emails sent.
GLA
Plenty of dry powder & looking at .50, as Warren Buffet say's "Buy when others are fearful" gotta be in to win..GL
To be fair they own quite a few. I agree it would given the share price a boost, but timing is everything. For a start the dust hasn’t settled following news of the enforced delay. It wIll take until mid next week in my view. Second CV19 is about to turn this country and the US into a hell zone for the next month at least. Where the markets will be at this point is anyone’s guess.
If I were a director I would be looking to boost my company in a sustained way, and that will be when there’s a turning point in this global crisis and people start to cautiously re-enter the markets.
Howmanyfools - why on earth would directors wait to buy at a much higher price? If they think it's worth buying you would imagine they would all pile in now. But they don't seem to be.
I do not think directors should be TOLD to buy. Let them first complete the RCF followed by Hybrid Bond deal, then they can buy-in at a much higher price.
Listening to the podcast, Austin is raring to go, Danny cannot wait to take us to the next level and Gobind is halfway through his marathon.
Lets hope they buy ....its been suggested to them by more than one person ....lets see them do it !!! a massive boost in confidence all around
Probably because they have been assured the paperwork will be signed when this is all over. Stay safe.
Agree HullFC4ever can’t see why the directors cant buy if signatures are not on paper imo gla
I'm not sure Hull but I would think that if they aware that all is required is a signature then it's unlikely theyll be able to buy until the RCF is signed. That would make sense to me but I'm not knowledgeable on these matters. Agree though director buys would make a difference and show confidence to the market
I have just heard that if the contract is not signed then directors can buy in ..... I don't know the answer for sure so is there anyone more knowledgeable on this matter ... ?
Podcast was out yesterday, drop has been done. Ideal opportunity to get in if on the sidelines or add and average down if you have the cash to spare
This could drop before the weekend as the podcast is out.
Cant imagine directors will be allowed to buy at the moment due to the RCF being in an advanced position
Yes and emailed
Yes I totally agree that I also emailed him.
Yes Giles I also emailed Gobind suggesting director buys so let’s see , but good time to buy at this price GLA
Giles agree they should be buying if the business is as good as they say it is...but I keep hearing they can't buy as its a closed period and have heard that excuse over the last 18months, surely due to the travel restrictions which are likely to be longer than end of April, this is the time for the Directors to put their hands in their pockets, they have taken large rises in wages over the last year.
Yes, completely agree with this. I have emailed in the past suggesting this also.
I will be buying in the next month just waiting for my lump sum from my retirement to come through.
Do you think the Directors should buy? It would show that they believe what they said in the podcast. A literal case of 'putting your money where your mouth is' :) email the Directors, I have.
