Maybe GF will announce Greenland is opening in anticipation we have booked plane tickets which maybe for august but might be for December I’m not sure I didn’t read the fine print but I’ll let you know! When we do get there we have some of the best flakes in the world btw did you know!? Oh and the plane I booked on doesn’t yet have the wings attached but I’m told it will soon so don’t worry about it!
Anyone selling their shares, i completely understand. I'm just too obstinate...Anyone thinking of adding, you are braver than me. I can only see this going down from here. What we have to watch for is large consistent buying, and i wont be holding my breath.
On the 8th January the share price was 0.45p. Then that statement came out which was good news, in particular:
The Company is pleased to report that the bench-scale testing was successful. In particular:
-- good gold recoveries were achieved, with 78.06% of the total gold content being captured in the Gravity concentrate plus Concentrate 1 of the Gravity tailings fractions.
The selling has been non stop since then. Yet he is giving good news! B****rd
Come, come now Tully, Penguins **se? Think a rats backend would be more appropriate. Assay results well overdue and then some. Or perhaps they found something else in abundance in those samples...like, er...high grade, 24ct BS?
tully
totally i added also on that and as far as i understood machine had been given a clean bill of health and was good to go.
GLA
TullyCrow, there is a sting in the air regarding this. The pilot plant has been on site for three months now, plenty of time to calibrate it.
The pilot plant has the capacity of crunching up to 3 tonnes per hour. Even if it is run at 0.5 tonnes per hour it will take 72 hours to crunch through the 36 tonnes. If it cannot do that then is as useful as a chocolate tea pot and the money spent to buy it has been a complete waste.
There is no excuse in not finishing the 36 tonne bulk sample by now.
8th January 2021. Is this misleading or not? I topped up on this RNS.
Final minor adjustments and tests are being carried out in respect of the Company's pilot gold processing plant, and the Company accordingly expects to be able to commence processing the 36 tonne bulk sample collected in September-October 2020 in the week commencing 11 January 2021.
A small amount of bulk sample material was sent by the Company to an independent laboratory for bench-scale testing, in order to validate the process flowsheet which has been designed by the Company for ore having the particular characteristics of Clogau ore. The Company is pleased to report that the bench-scale testing was successful. In particular:
-- good gold recoveries were achieved, with 78.06% of the total gold content being captured in the Gravity concentrate plus Concentrate 1 of the Gravity tailings fractions.
I am quoted 0.297p to buy 2,000,000 shares! - Still a lot of shares available for sale.
If nothing else kicks this up, the very strong 0.30p support level could turn to (a very strong) resistance level.
It is time for a Greenland update, Greenland opens up in 6 days. GF should already have a mobilisation plan? If we get a Greenland update then it will push us back above the 0.30p support level - will GF issue a Greenland update to support the SP?
dissapointed hell yea , selling at this level no chance, if you want to sell then sell , GF needs to look at his news flow poor atm.
I don't know if anyone can throw some light on how our finances are ( elir 71 perhaps ? ) But I doubt we are flush with money. So as we all know at some point with all this work and drilling going on we are going to need money. Is this where Ms Henson comes along? About time her and her high net worth individuals stuck a few quid in, now that would give the market some confidence, unless it is at a silly price of course..Quite easy to see by reading the board today that apart from one or two posters the rest of us feel totally deflated..
If George had any sense he will keep his head down for the forseeable future, or until he had something to say that was going to restore some confidence in his reputation. Because at the moment his reputation is currently lower than a penguins ar** in my book.
All of the above I agree...strung along feeling is strong maybe GF needs to look to replace himself with a better chairman who can appreciate share price from the company and spin even bad news remember the chairs job is to ensure maximum shareholder value! Next the now spin from ramp to deramp by GF is also noticeable keeping the price low for placings big possibility and a nice shinny website to how the it! Wasting time on bulk samples yes if they aren’t going to yield expected results focus efforts, time and money elsewhere! Sample everything and everything yes we need something others are churning out results every few months 3 months to sample less than half and not even release like oh we sampled 15 but we got x amount! shows little regard for these to accrue any sp intrest from them and a waste of effort. phase 1 drill results sent to the laboratory for assaying anyway so what exactly are they trying to prove the processing plant for?
Top class grinning Charlaton is now on my radar! Meanwhile I sit cap in hand begging for them to give us something to show for the last 3 months of waiting since the last 3 months of waiting :)
Maybe George wants another worker at the mine to ensure the others aren't just turning up, locking themselves in and then sleeping half the day? - Been there, done that! :-)
I just don’t get it I really don’t. They have a gold mine and equipment and man power to process gold so why on earth are they not at this point just sampling anything and everything to recover some gold and get some money in the bank. At this point I thought they’d be sampling the quartz veins they’ve found to see if they can get any gold out too
Not that long ago people on here were talking about how GF doesn't hype the situation, even complaining that he plays it down, now apparently people saying the opposite.
I think some of you are confusing what you've said when you were ramping the results expected and what GF has said.
Or what exoectations other known massive rampers were selling (im sure you know who i mean)
I have been saying this for a while - I was not expecting anything from existing bulk samples!!! And ALBA has been slow-balling this news for months now.
It seems that GF was hopeful [Bulk samples available and a new processing plant] but what has transpired is there is nothing there 'of substance' and GF has changed his emphasis on the intentions...... But it's still positive because "using this first bulk sample as test material for the refining of the processing plant so that it is fully optimised to maximise gold recoveries " which you can't do unless there is some gold to optimise....
The timeline for the current Bulk sample analysis is now probably July time...??? Which gives GF time to find better news to offset any 'no gold' news from the CURRENT bulk sample. I am also intrigued by Elir’s comments on lower price for large buyers – it might just be! I particularly like the timing of the new website roll-out…..
I still think the Main Lode, Dewatering, other assets etc etc have legs. And any news from them could land ANYTIME? Not ramping here but honestly – they could [ie its possible?] drill through solid gold in the main lode tomorrow couldn’t they???
I'm not reducing as I'm lucky in that I can wait for as long as it takes. But that would appear to be a pretty long wait, because can't imagine any news for quite a while that will benefit the share price. With all this " chomping at the bit " nonsense, and positive tweets, podcasts, newspaper articles, this bloke now appears to be a typical AIM Charlatan. Whilst the PIs have been adding due to his statements, others who were better informed have been selling from 0.48 downwards. This man goes on the not to be trusted list. All he has done this morning is buy another few months...I expect this to settle over the coming few sessions at 0.25ish.
@jdavo.whereas some of the 36t was collected from debris fallen from lode areas to the roadway floor, I distinctly remember a machine gnawing away at the quartz vein.
I really hope this rns isn't designed to keep the sp down to provide cheap entry to hensons clients.
Further, I would put more credence onto August's rns as opposed to today's in terms of statements regarding the purpose of the Sept Oct bulk samples
I reluctantly reduced my holding a few mins ago
I'm still sticking to my current fundamental valuation of. 7 to. 9 p
However I don't expect that to be reflected in the sp for a long time. Its understandable that people have been reducing holdings as there is little reason to believe there will be any movement for some months and people have other opportunities they may miss out on.
Reasons for closure before. Low gold price, low tech pick and shovel operation. Atnew rules re dewatering required an expertise in environmental impact reporting that they were disinclined to do
Myself is getting very inpatient ive been here for a longtime to the point I'm thinking selling my substantial holding at a loss we seem to be getting no where,I no these things take time but how long to see this ticker go up.we have not seen any gold in the bank all we are hereing is were there going to dig next or explore its getting like groundhog day do we wait another 3 months to be told that they have found another vein or they have sent samples to a assay office and waiting,.I'm just stuck on what to do anymore
The mine originally closed as price of gold was to low, ( even though Welsh gold sells at a premium). So why did it not reopen when the price of gold recovered, seeing the history of gold it always recovers!!!
Elir, it certainly does not say that and there is an obvious change from what we were originally told.
Is also shocking that the Pilot Plant which is capable of crunching 3 tonnes per hour is still being tuned up after almost 3 months in operation ... was only a 36 tonne sample!
Very disappointed with the handling of Clogau - how did Stellar resources managed to come up with stellar results from grab samples? —- and GF cannot even grab a gramme of gold to show us?
Exactly Elir! Thank you!
The reason this is hard to swallow now is the fact it's taken them over 6 months to come forwards and say "By the way, we will be processing sweepings from the floor, so don't expect much". Why? Why not some integrity and some clarity from the start and say that?
I'm sticking here - I am stubborn - but I am not impressed at all. Months waiting for a result to be told they're only processing left overs anyway. Surely this must be bitter for most?
From this morning's RNS
"This first bulk sample was taken from previously worked areas of the Mine, and as such the Company is not anticipating high-grade results from this initial processing exercise. The Company is therefore much more focused at this stage on using this first bulk sample as test material for the refining of the processing plant so that it is fully optimised to maximise gold recoveries before the Company's processing team proceed to process the further bulk samples which will be taken during the course of this year. As those further bulk samples are expected to be taken from new, unworked veins, where the prospects for high-grade mineralization are expected to be much greater, it is critical that gold recoveries in the processing circuit are maximised before those further bulk samples are processed."
14 aug 2020 rns :
"Bulk Sampling
The upcoming work at the Mine will be focused on extracting several bulk samples from target areas within the existing mine development. As the gold at Clogau is highly nuggety and contained in narrow quartz veins, bulk sampling is typically deployed in order to obtain a representative idea of gold content across a particular vein or zone.
The bulk sampling exercise will be undertaken in conjunction with the underground rock chip sampling, channel sampling and drilling programmes. The Company will look to extract several tonnes of material from each of a number of target zones.
This work is directly aimed at identifying unexploited gold zones and known payshoot extensions within the Mine which will support a decision to reopen the Mine for long-term commercial production."
It certainly does not say.... We're just collecting random stuff to test out the pilot plant
