No start production at Clogau, then the stages outlined in the video last week need to be gone through. However look at Clogau as two projects... One building on the existing infrastructure and the second building on reserves as yet unproven (and possibly non existent). The current Site Investigation should give more confidence in the likelihood of viable reserves. The likely timescales are in the video and from what I can see they are credible. I've never done gold prospecting, but I have in the distant past been a geotechnical engineer for 4 years and done loads of drilling site engineering. Nothing in their presentation seems contentious to me. Mineralisation in quartz veins can be very sporadic though. I'm in at least until the results from clogau. No doubt the tree will be shaken many times between then and now.
Degsy,
Haven’t you bought in to Alba yet?
30-50 million quid ... Nonsense ...
Can start Clogau production with very little outlay, pilot plant in operation within 12 months. ... from now.
Placing shares are gone. Is up from here. Today was a good entry opportunity.
Boring or what - your so transparent
Remember to get to production you are looking at £30-£50m quid operations. Jorc report, Feasibility study, bankable Feasibility report etc etc all takes time and big cash. Need a major to take over but they will only do that when the play is proved up.
But = buy
Desperate to but in or what - why not just pay the going rate tight teat or jog on and wait see if drops to .27 - no chance imo
Expect this to hit the placing price.
Then wait for the drill samples.
5 to ten years down the line fingers crossed they get all the funding and paperwork to attract a major to fund them to production.
Yes I’m about finished with ggp having reached the £1bn cap. Alba and ONI now. Just need Alba to be noticed by a major as ggp was and omi is now.
The only game in town is allowing a major to fund your way plus using their expertise. Comparing any stock with GGP and I only come up with OMI. Almost identical deal with Newmont as ggp has with newcrest. Ggp ends up with 30% and OMI ends up with 25% free carry to production and has far superior grades to GGP. The main difference I see is Newmont paying cash to OMI whilst also carrying out and funding all operations. Free carry all the way to production and circa only £5m cap now. In order to get these deals investors have to fund up and prove what they have before a major will step in and fund you this costs investors Many many millions and years of work. The placing today in Alba is less than what Newmont are paying OMI for doing nothing whilst Newmont carry out and fund all operations. Omi sit pretty and also gets cash from Newmont and doesn’t lift a finger. Same as ggp although newcrest does not give ggp cash upfront like Newmont does OMI to keep the lights on and supply tea and biscuits.
Same belt 50 clicks away continental were paid 1.4bn for that claim by Chinese firm Zijin

Phoebus I totally agree with you... But I still believe that MMs will drop this sp below 0.30p knowing the fact that alb main news are still ahead of us. Until then we will notice total manipulation.
I disagree. ALBA has traditionally rallied into major news as per HH and Clogau news is still all dead ahead and now includes 5,000m of drilling to locate lots more of that super high grade Welsh gold. This is a real game changer as this round of exploration now has the potential to bring about a truly massive increase in the valuation of the Clogau project. The fact the SP has held so well and significantly above the placing price in such poor market conditions speaks volumes for the quality of ALBA's investment case and the significance of the news flow that will be flowing thick and fast over the next few months. I have seen today as a great opportunity to increase my holding which I wasnt expecting.
Always best to buy on down days which goes against our natural instinct to run with herd.
Get a lot more shares that way!
Hawkers... I agree... How many of pis stuck today at 0.4p and above, shock g I feel really sorry for them.
MMs can drop alba sp to any level they want I repeat to Any level. I've noticed this so many times.
Just tried a dummy sell and I can sell 1mil for 0.327
Share price wobbles don't affect the gold in the ground, which is made of sterner stuff.
The placing took me by surprise, but they've raised £1.3m with another £1.3m to be raised when the warrants at 0.55p are fully exercised, so that is very positive for the future.
they may - but then again they may raise the sp tomorrow - say 20% and then you have missed your chance of a cheap top up - so i have added today and am happy with my holding here - but if they do drop tomorrow i will add some more so a win win situation imo
All the mm manipulation can't stand up to hard facts value for long. In 2 3 weeks you'll see
I bet this f...g MMs will bring down the price to 0.25-27p total manipulation this what aim UK is...
Alternative investing manipulation...
Probably alba is my last adventure on aim since this year I decided to move to ftse.
Still holding alba add today but I had enough of MMs games, aim UK become a farce full of speculations.
Don't be surprised if this go below 0.3p today and even lower 2mrw.

I’m in two minds. Happy to add at .33p but can someone the market makers know that I have bought now and to put the share price up again. Higher than Friday would be great.
