CofE,
Not one for making specific share price predictions, but do think that Alba could be a little jewel of a company which is only now in the process of being discovered by the market.
Dear Ocelot,
Also appreciate your research and posts. What is your reasonable prediction here? Just trying to gauge some opinions.
I feel 1-2p is achievable. Within a reasonable time. The even 4-6p even some solid results.
Absolutely, CofE.
I see the exercise of these warrants as being very positive. As you say, it puts money in the bank and bolsters Alba's capacity to further its plans.
Dear Ocelot,
With this momentum won’t a 10% dilution just be gobbled up. Also put some real money in the bank. It’s not 100% dilution without gain.
No, not hinting at a placement.
There's more than £1m of warrants exercisable at 0.13p (£150k), 0.30p (£264k) and 0.32p (£700k) with more exercisable at 0.40p and 0.42p. See page 49 of the last annual report:
https://www.albamineralresources.com/ul/2019%20Alba%20accounts%20FINAL%20version%20WEB.pdf
You are hinting at a placement to keep operations going?
So another 3 to 5 baggers look promising.
The principal constraint on Alba has been a financial one.
As a pre-revenue company, its lowly market cap has limited its access to funds and meant management has had to be very selective in its choice of annual investment programmes.
Alba's spread of assets is that of a much bigger company.
By getting behind Alba, the market is reducing that financial constraint and will help the company to accelerate the development of its projects.
Stupid lse not allowing the link. Youleys see if this works...

For those who haven’t watched this, worth spending 20 min to watch. Alba gives a good overview of their projects, including Clogau

Good post by Stigoloist in ADVFN
“Stigoloist : Next week is TESLA Battery Day
Good time to update on this hTtps://www.investegate.co.uk/alba-min-res-plc--alba-/rns/amitsoq-update/202002190700093945D/ Alba Appoints Graphite Experts for Battery Testwork Alba Mineral Resources plc (AIM: ALBA), the diversified mineral exploration and development company, i s pleased to report the appointment of leading graphite experts, ProGraphite GmbH ("ProGraphite") for the next phase of testwork at our high-grade Amitsoq graphite project, in southern Greenland. Whereas the last phase of the Company's testwork successfully focused on maximising the yield of higher-value large flakes, the focus of the new testwork will be on assessing the most efficient and optimised method for the production of material for lithium-ion battery ("LIB") anode testwork. The flake size of the graphite used to produce LIB anode material is less relevant, as the graphite is micronized to less than 30 micron prior to shaping and purification. Consequently, the recovery of larger flake graphite is not an objective for this testwork. Highlights · The next phase of testwork at the high-grade Amitsoq Graphite Project will focus on the production of material for LIB anode testwork. · Alba has secured the appointment of leading German graphite experts, ProGraphite, to conduct this phase of testwork. · This testwork is distinct from the last phase of work, which confirmed the ability of Amitsoq graphite to produce a concentrate containing a significant proportion (36%) of flakes in the higher-value large, jumbo and super jumbo flake sizes. George Frangeskides, Executive Chairman, commented: "I am delighted that we have been able to secure the expertise of Dr Christoph Frey and his team at ProGraphite in Germany to oversee the next phase of testwork at our high-grade Amitsoq graphite project“
Just shows that ALBA is not a one trick pony.
Maybe some of the Welsh guys can go for a walk at Clogau and see if they spot any nuggets :)
Another 3 to 5 baggers from now? Achievable.
Some auto corrects here, sorry. Bloody iPhone (need - news, glossy - Clogau, good - Gold)
Investor - huge volume here, and will only increase as media coverage starts. Every drop is bought into and even a hint of need from Clogau and there will be a frenzy of buying here. I see this trend continuing until news is released in a couple of weeks. Good news will then send this into new levels.
Even 100k oz (but hopefully they have plenty more down there) will be worth millions.
Premium paid for Clogau gold is 200% or more. With a spot price of $2000 now (and expected to increase) then this makes potential spot price for us close to $6000
Mine exists so any costs to develop and start selling ASAP are minimal
So just very basic and simplistic calculations show that this could be huge, for example
Assumed spot price achieved - $4000 (I know Alba is hopeful they get more but let’s be conservative)
Cost (AISC) - $1200 (overly pessimistic here as generally AISC is lower, and certainly lower for existing mines)
That gives $2800 per oz, which even at 100,000 oz reserves it is worth $280m/£220.
Even if you then take a 50% discount to this conservative approach, still leaves you with over £100m. And that’s glossy only. How about Greenland?
We are in a bull market. Good is expected to go up, profit margins for going to increase further and exploration will boom. That, coupled with the fact that this is Welsh gold and on our back door, makes this a perfect investment.
Will we reach 0.6/0.7/0.8p by end of September? I hope so, and am fairly confident we will, but what I’m really confident about is that if we do find amazing grades down there, you and I and some others won’t even be able to use this bb as it’ll have 2000 posts a day.
Don’t think this will tank next week this is only heading one way 1p in sight hopefully next week. Have a significant holding here & will be adding more at these silly prices
