Wow, massive opportunity at this price!!!
Plus.. that 30 million over 2 years paid every month from April ... 1.25 million a month, with all the millions of profit this is making a year..still seems way over sold.
Taken from 21/02/20 there was 89.45% of shares allocated to shareholders with over 1%. The free float must be tiny! great buying opportunity. Added
I agree that the share is oversold. Topped up today and will keep for years to come. DYOR. Good luck all.
Just bought in on punt but to me it seems a steal
We’ll surely a true bargain now!
The Group is in the process of negotiating a settlement agreement with the client to provide it with a payment plan whereby the full amount is repaid in equal weekly increments, from 3 April 2020 until 3 June 2022.
Last chance to grab a bargain?
Yep, seems about right. The growth opportunity is unbelievable. Alphapay, UK, EU, Canada etc. World class Management team and a great culture within the business. I do think this could be a very valuable company over the next decade.
Am I right? Revenue ~35mln with 40% margin gives circa 15mln profit before taxes and there are 36.5mln shares which means EPS 41 pence per share. Never mind, that's a very solid company. Will keep them very long, maybe forever.
Well I did sell a few at £9.30 after price had fallen back briefly (wrongly thought it had maybe peaked for now, my second profit take) but am going to hold rest for the ride....like this share. DYOR
Good to hear for both the City, the country and AFX !
...London's share of global daily forex turnover has rocketed to a record 43% - from 37% in 2016 - as it stole market share from New York and Asian hubs, according to a Bank of International Settlements survey last month.
London has long led in forex thanks to its convenient time zone and cutting-edge trading infrastructure.
But the news surprised many who had predicted Brexit would drive an exodus of banks and traders from London, or at least arrest its growth, while cities such as Hong Kong and Singapore were seen benefiting from a boom in local currency activity.
"London is hard to beat ... The depth and diversity of the skill pool here is unrivalled," Matthew Hodgson, the founder of Mosaic, one of a clutch of new fintech companies tapping into the forex industry.
It may stay at elevated level for quite long or even go higher still. Not many investors willing to sell. Future looks bright to me.
Very nice RNS and even before then good movement upwards....I like this company. Holding for long term now but possible price may drop back a bit after such a big rise.
Some large 120k(x4) and 240k trades today, which I have seen before on the back of a 5% rise (nice). The ratio of large trades to those of the "personal" investor seem much higher than other AIM shares I know of, so as another poster noted "under the radar".
Alpha may not have the appeal of some other AIM shares that others are looking for quick/large gains in, but in a good product market, as lots of companies can make or loose considerable sums moving money around.
Well I think so.
Morning. Well I sold a few of these a couple of weeks ago at around £7.80 to crystallise some profit and very nearly bought them back plus a few more yesterday, given how low the price had drifted. My plan was, and is, to hold what I have (original purchase plus 50% of profit made on it) at least until £10 and review then. Let's hope we get there. It seems a very well run business from what I can tell. Nice update although bit more detail would have been even better.
Cracking update and hardly a noise made on here. Revenue significantly ahead of forecasts and expansions continue apace. Lovely
Topped up this morning a few more, couldn't resist.
I bought these in the December "crash" - they had been on my list for some time and I have since - including today.
Execution here is everything - and they seem to have a very smart management team. I would expect a continuing sharp rise in the numbers as they have already invested heavily in people and the benefits of that should come through this year and next. Along with the promise of a progressive dividend policy, I would expect AFX to fly over the next 24 months or so. Definitely a long term hold for me.

Bought some the other day and I'm intending on gradually building up a decent holding here. Looks to have good potential and seemingly under the radar if this forum is anything to go by.
The spread is pretty large though, so this could put some investors off. Fundamentals looks strong nonetheless
This has been on of my AIM successes, bought in after they won best newcomer award in annual AIM awards in 2017
So recommend keeping an eye on this years entries September 2019 onwards, see new and upcoming AIM companies.
was expexting a little more of a positive reaction to the year-end; anything holding back or is it simply a delayed reaction?
I admit it's a boring stock but as someone wise said boring is good.
