Hargreaves Lansdown. Occasional issues but most do. Two accounts, one for holding shares and one for trading (occasionally have shares I want to keep but, the second account allows me to trade the same companies if they’re volatile)
what platform do people use to buy the shares?
Aim
I don’t disagree but at the moment it’s not buying time for me. Completely happy with the deals we have but I’d like a little meat on the bone.
I’m also increasing my stake in EQT and it’s a similar story there.
Both good but I’m more confident in AFC.
Good luck Drew. It's always a pleasure seeing new investors buying into AFC and their journey. Many of us are long term holders and could write books on the trials and tribulations of AFC over the years. There is a general feeling however that AFC's time is fast approaching as the H2 economy comes to pass.
Beware that some on here are incessant derampers with their own motives, and some are exactly the opposite. Beware of unsubstantiated opinion and my advice would be to use the posting history function and the filter function liberally!

Good luck with that.......lol. When you’ve discovered how the market works, please let us all know.
Well I've continued to buy , including this morning and am just about breaking even on my largest holding. Twice as much as EQT, my next largest. I may either be very right or very wrong - who can tell? ATB.
Same Scarpa, I've really enjoyed doing my research and looking into AFC. I am a design engineer by trade so find their technology fascinating. I just need to learn more regarding understanding the market

Generally, yes it is. People will often post things they’ve discovered but please do your homework. Personally I quite like the detective work and piecing things together, even if I’m wrong which I usually am. Talking about future RNS’s is quite entertaining but my actual research was done a few months before I bought a single share.
I’ve been honest about my holding because it aids transparency, but I don’t want to know about anybody else’s.
Good luck.
much appreciated Scarpa50. on your last line on point 4 - will this news generally be shared in this community?
I agree with scarpa, only invest in aim stock if you can afford to lose it. I bought afc last year and it has been my best investment so far ( bought a few lemons as well) this board helped me to decide on how much to invest as when you skip over the rubbish you can get a lot of useful info

1. You should consider whether you can afford to buy and risk losing your investment, first and foremost.
2. Only invest money you won’t need over the next three to five years. This is a general rule of thumb and may not be applicable with AFC, but worth remembering.
3. A share price can fall. Some people seem to forget this one!
4. People on here, whilst generally helpful, all have their own agenda. Some bought in at a low price and don’t care about daily fluctuations as they’re in profit either way and will hold. They will have considerably more shares than me, even though they invested less to begin with.
I have 100k at 50p roughly. No point buying more as my average price will rise. I don’t think it’ll go back to 50p, but who knows. If it does I’ll buy more. I’m also ok to buy if spectacular news comes in, if I think the price will hold up.
5. Gotta make up your own mind.
I believe it will. The extreme E should give the technology great coverage around the world and proven it can work in harsh environments.
That depends on whether the price goes up or down Drew. What do you think it will do?
i think what's a bit disappointing is that we haven't had a nice rice up to the AGM in expectation of good news, doesn't mean we won't get good news but looking less likely as previously the share price has always risen significantly in advance of news.
Would it be prudent to buy a few more shares while the price is low?
Drew, and remember it’s NOT a game. Some investors on this bulletin board advise that they have large holdings. I would advise that for learning about the company most weekend posts are better than on trading days, when many relate only to short term trading movements in the shares.
A sell then a buy.

there were two largish trades near the close on Friday, hence the drop and rise late on. I’ve no way of checking though.
Did anyone notice any large trades on friday or this morning between £150k and £250k?
Trying to find out where TB Amati Investment Funds Limited have invested the £650k they sold of VLS on friday..
AFC seem like a good contender based on this report: https://twitter.com/dr_tkd15/status/1381332119771828232?s=21
AFC 1st, EQT 2nd, CWR 3rd.
Jackunion went for the full ‘Alkaline Fuel Cell Energy til I die’ but he’s hung like a horse........apparently.
An ‘AFC til I die’ tattoo is mandatory, but you can have it wherever you like.

Read the RNS’s, Ex E info and check in here regularly. You have to pass a ten question test before posting.
Hi all. I am new to investment and after some research I have chosen to invest in AFC. Any factors or tips that I should be looking into to further my knowledge regarding positive / negative news for AFC? Thanks
